As we have heard, Facebook is planning to launch its own coin. And we know that this site has so many people that use this to communicate, the fact that it has many users, the possibility of getting their coin famous is just an easy picky.

Could we also expect that facebook may have a feature where gambling (that uses crypto/ facebook coin) is allowed? What do you think?

When facebook enters cryptocurrency, things will be changes. Im sure crypto's popularity will increase in an instant. We also all know that facebook has its own games and gambling can be easy for them to launch. But one thing sure isnt fun in this. We all know that Mark Zuckerburg knows our details and if we put or buy his coin, KYC becomes a big deal.

Well, there's the possible thing that it will be happen but I guess like the messenger apps it is separate to the Facebook main platform.
So far facebook now has a lot of online games, so probably it will happen that there is also launching gambling apps through connected in facebook. However, we don't know yet if that really happens just like rumors that they have a crypto coin but as of now still rumors.

No i don't really think that the Facebook coin or Facebook as a company will get involved with gambling. The coin can potentially unlock some new or premium features that regular users don't have.

Isn't online gambling banned in the USA?
I think offshore gambling is banned in the US. Meaning US citizens are not allowed to gamble online in Asian or European casinos for example.

That could be possible because as we know, Facebook becomes a large company and now they can create their own coin or even their gambling games. I think soon Facebook will release a poll for their member about their plans whether to create a new coin for Facebook members or allowing gambling to their members.

I think before Facebook allow gambling for their member, they need to have an agreement with the government so Facebook could strict the gambling and only adult people that could play gambling with their own risk.

Perhaps, if that is true, adult members in Facebook can communicate to others while they can also playing gambling with Facebook coin and the members can invite their friends to join in the game.

I don't think it is true that facebook will launch its own coin but even if it was true it will not be a success at all. Facebook already makes a lot of money from ads and in the games they offer like Zynga games etc.

The idea of a facebook coin may look like it will be a success but knowing how facebook works I think it will not be and if we add gambling to it there will problems because some countries do not allow it.

I think that Facebook might be penalized if they ever try to launch a gambling game.It doesn't matter if it's fiat or crypto based.Anyway, the idea of a "facebook coin" is just fake news. It's a myth that does around the mainstream media and some people in the crypto world really believe that this is going to happen.

As far as I know, Facebook is a U.S. corporation. It means that they (Facebook) need to acquire gambling licenses to operate (in the U.S.). I think that gambling is not their business. Moreover, many countries ban gambling and would hurt their core business if they want to operate an online casino.

Furthermore, 3rd party casinos would think twice to add the Facebook coin, because of lack privacy.

So my answer is no.

No, I don't think that Facebook will join the gambling industry just because they have their own coin the future. It's not their forte, they're a social media sites, it might backfire on them if they entertain this idea.

And as far as it own future coins though, I read that it will be going like to be used in remittances. So that alone has lots of competitions already so I guess they need to focus on that one before venturing their coins to other industries like gambling.

Maybe for first their coin will be payment for their product like advertisement. Because maybe some people can't reach it if must pay with credit card. Like me it is hard to buy something to advertise my page on Facebook because i don't have credit card.
So that means it is really impossible to happen that they have launched another feature (gambling) in their platform. Because that is a social media platform and not the gambling base platform. They have made their digital currency only to pay if we used to advertise our ads purposes only. But who knows, we don't know what they are planning(facebook company) as of now.

Facebook will launch its own crypto coin and it has nothing to do with gambling. Being a social media platform, they do not need any support from gambling industry to promote their coin. Their coin will be more usable in social media applications instead.

I think no, It's really obvious that facebook's innovative idea is about social media platform. Then, why will they change their idea of gambling? It's impossible. Facebook's coin will be a currency for their applications in facebook so upcoming games or non-playable apps will be updated. I think if we have an imaginative mind, we will easily identify what kind of platform and the use of the facebook coin they will create.
Yes, might not implement anything like gambling but after the creation of their own crypto currency there's highly possibility that a gambling company will partner with them since facebook is a welcoming company for businesses.

It's possible, they are a big company and they can explore growth in the crypto industry.
One thing for sure in case they will be into gambling, it's not going to be anonymous since they are registered company, so I don't think it will attract more gamblers knowing most of us here wants to enjoy gambling anonymously.

I don't know about that. Maybe Facebook wants to expand its business, and now they thought that gambling was a big business that can make them get a big profit too. If Facebook wants to allow gambling, then they need to make a deal with the government on every country because their member was spread on all countries.

But I think that in Facebook itself, there is a game called poker texas hold'em and I heard that many people are like to play that game. Besides that, I heard that they were already buying and selling the chip to another player because some of my friends telling me about that. But I never knew.

I am almost sure the coin they are going to launch is going to be available only for social media platforms and probably not even available on exchanges since they will promote it on Facebook website and app. So those coins will be used only for services related to social media. That's the way I see it since I don't think Facebook has any plans of creating the next bitcoin

This seems to be delightful news.
I think if the Facebook currency is launched it will ask the users of the site,
Listing them on gambling applications of the site,
It looks like it will be a positive wave

I don’t see any gambling site on facebook who legally advertise, but I think its possible. Facebook coin can be a threat to some coins because of its volume but in terms of technology, i think facebook should be more innovative. Gambling site will just have the choice to accept facebook coin or not, really depends on the situation.

Yes it can be, especially facebook coin will be big for sure and many gambling site will also accept this coin considering the volume of it. Though facebook is quiet regulated in terms of this, but we know everything is possible in cryptocurrency. Facebook will adopt this technology well, it can be a big thing for the whole market and also for some gamblers.

I don't think that they will include themselves to gambling but there can be someone that can think of this idea who's related to their management. And what he has to do is to create his own third party site that can connect directly to facebook to make use of their own coin and be affiliated together.

If you ever played poker app on their site, you can load through cash and get more chips and on that case, facebook isn't the sole owner of that app but another third party site/developer.
