We will keep waiting till they make a major move, but with speculation it might turn out positive.
What really caught my attention is, Facebook of all people coming to the crypto that means those who thought blockchain technology doesn't worth it will surly have a change of mind sooner than later.

I will not speculate with this news, so far the news is very popular and positive responses continue to blow.
but this is still in planning, maybe even this is an issue. I hope this will be realized soon. You don't need to be too happy until Facebook gives their official statement.

If Facebook is really going to launch a coin in the near future, then the coin will become one of the new potential coins. Facebook coins can be very potential because Facebook is a great platform so the coins it creates will exceed its greatness because it has got great platform support. If this FB coin is present then the crypto currency competition will be more stringent and the market situation will become very crowded. Of course this will encourage the crypto currency to grow and develop. You can be sure if the crypto currency condition can last as minimal as this, then the crypto currency will stabilize quickly.

in my opinion, maybe that would make a good step for Facebook because it seems that it will add an alternative stable of drugs and maybe fb coin can also be used to other things such as maybe payment for their product, or maybe it can be used as a reward for their adbreaks project

I do not know what difference will another stablecoin make to the crypto community, yes it will benefit perhaps the users or more appropriately the advertisers on the fb platform because they can use this coin to pay for ads etc but other than that i do not see any other practical use cases of fb coin but we will see when all details will be available.

I was hoping to see a source from official facebook URL, but the rumours might be true because I've seen a video whereby Facebook CEO, Mark, was explaining the need for digital asset in payments recently. If this comes to lime light, obviously you don't need a voodoo priest to tell you that it's going to be huge and a plus to the crypto market.

They recently acquired a technology company about the blockchain. I think this is the first step for joining technology corporations joining Blockchain with Amazon and Microsoft

I have not heard anything about it, but the news that they will release their coin is falling on my eyes all the time! But I don’t understand much, they block cryptocurrency ads, they already announce that they will release their coin ... Where is the logic?

With the respect and recognition has attained over the world, if Facebook decides to introduce its coins then probably it will add legitimate in crytpocurrency investing. More so, Facebook with it advertisement is using other electronic payments and introducing it own coin is the best decision the management can make.

So facebook learning things the hard way. They opposed the blockchain earlier but now they have started to embrace it. A good thing but they are a bit late, but lets see how good their project is going to be.

I am not too excited about the FB Coin. During the past 3-4 years, Mark Zuckerberg had made some hostile statements against the concept of crypto-currency. What made him to change his position now? Well, there are indications that the FB user-base is saturating and the revenues may start to decline in the near future. So there is a chance that Zucker is trying to keep the interest going by roping in his own version of the crypto.
Just let Facebook make crypto coins themselves, because  determines success or failure in trading is not Mark Zuckerberg but investors who are willing to buy FB Coin.
If the prospects offered are good, perhaps the sale of FB Coin is in line with expectations, because Facebook members can be used as a potential market with intensive, profitable giving during the ICO so that the market response will be positive. When will the Facebook coin be launched, it's still a secret.

They were just too quick to judge cryptocurrency, now its all coming back to them
It’s part of the impatient we are all talking about, and now they found themselves in the trend too, majority of them never thought that cryptocurrency will go this far, but now they are being threatened by other competitors who are making their platform more user friendly with the adoption of cryptocurrency.

This is why I believe that very soon, even government will start showing interest as they see that it is a system that people they tend to control really wants. All these moves by these big technical companies will really be the one to open the eyes of so many people to the cryptocurrency.

It is a big step for crypto currency to be more and more well known. If they can successfully launch their FB stablecoin without any problem especially from the governments and etc.

Then this will surely serve as a bridge for other people to support crypto currency and be part of it. And I am hoping also that many countries will start to legalize crypto currency in the future after the successful launch of FB stablecoin.

We should better be prepared that this token or the so called FB coin will going to dominate the market place of facebook. In this sense, if it was listed on one of the best exchanges in the market, surely, it will going to make the people have allot of profit if they are prepared to the possibility that I've just said before.
Regarding to the news whether is true or just rumour, I think it will have a positive impact to crypto space for it will bring awareness to people in blockchain and cryptocurrency to remember facebook is one of the social media platform that has a huge number of users in the world.

Its a stablecoin as they say, it will function as a hedge to any crypto in the market just like the USDT,  for all we know its use is just for the advertising fee in facebook. It may not be used by most of us unless its going to be in the exchanges to compete the rest of the stablecoins. I guess Facebook's objective is to also collect more BTC at hand/
