Actually, I don't care much about facebook's coin. It's just maybe a kind of marketing tweak like JMP coin. But I do care about the hype attraction of this coin. With a huge number of users, facebook coin will spread crypto to millions of people. According to Spencer Bogart - a Blockchain Capital’s partner, Facebook Coin could triple crypto-user base. It'll be interesting to see how busy the crypto market will become then.
if that true then thats good for all cryptocurrency world. facebook have the largest social media user all around the world. that gonna make crypto community more stronger
if it really happens it will be a good project. and many investors will invest in Facebook projects. I don't think this will happen because many people have been deceived by projects on behalf of Facebook, and because there is no concrete information that supports it.

I think this seems a fake news to me because it does not even introduced on the social media page or ads that they are going to launch a stable coin called Facebook coin. If it really happens I think another useless coin will exist on the market and will surely become a shitcoin. On the other hand if the launching will succeed due to massive support from enthusiasts, I think taking part on the bounty program will make any sense. If this happens, I believe it will be the biggest crypto project of the year. or what do you think?
if it really happens it will be a good project. and many investors will invest in Facebook projects. I don't think this will happen because many people have been deceived by projects on behalf of Facebook, and because there is no concrete information that supports it.
I honestly detest Facebook... and would not consider using that coin because I do not even have a user on that platform. But, I must accept that if they develop with success and put it into operation it will help with the acceptance of the crypts. Imagine more than 2 billion users discovering the world of cryptocurrencies, it will surely help to open the eyes of some to this wonderful world.

Facebook seems to be developing a blockchain to integrate payment system for all it's apps and create a universal cryptocurrency to be used in it's platform. But I highly doubt it would be called FBcoin and would be announced as soon as third quarter of this year.

Any coin that comes from a big company or well-known personality is big news, just like what happen to Electroneum, but we still have to see if they will live up to people's expectation, we all know that majority of Facebook's user base are not into cryptocurrency yet, they should first introduce cryptocurrency to their users, or are they only targetting a specific users in their network.
This is a great news for cryptocurrency and it will further accelerates the adoption and acceptance of it. Though the coin might be a stable coin but it's still a positive event for the industry and as many more big brands join us, the world won't have any option than to do also.

Your last sentence got my attention, hence I bolded it for reference. No, don't think it will make much impact whenever (if ever) Facebook comes out with a cryptocurrency. It will just be up in the media with much noise just like Electroneum did when it was launched, that's all. By the way, what is Facebook share worth in the stock market? Just a mere > $100+. Although their announcement may make people start rushing to buy bitcoin thinking it will cause pump in the price of BTC, there might just be a little coincidence then, because FOMO will make others follow them in also purchasing bitcoin. So I still think it will indirectly have very big effect on the value on bitcoin. Anyway, the third quarter is almost here.
in other words in third quarter of 2019 yet another centralized token is going to be added to the list of centralized tokens. the only difference is that this coin has a big name behind it so it can get hyped more compared to others and unless it is a stable coin we can expect big pumps out of it.

I dont think they will launch a traditional ICO that we expect on every project. I heard and see some reviews already from some of famous crypto enthusiast and I think the fbcoin will not be related to blockchain but more on a service payment. They will integrate payment system wit their partner social group and merchants which I think I presume will click for mass adoption sincce they are famous. But not totally linked with cryptocurrency's blockchain. Maybe later or we will see when a final announcement had been made. They trying to raise 1B$ and thats a huge for a project. Will watch the trend of the rumors.
We are waiting for this facebook coin and we hope it should be able to promote bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general to the extent of making it mainstream. I have been following the events about this "facebook stablecoin" but I really did not know if it will be possible to come out in the third quarter of 2019, I pray with time facebook should come out and tell us the position of things so we know their mind about this project.
