I consulted a local law enforcement officer and they said that they had no ability to do what you guys are asking and doubted that any other enforcement officer would be able to fulfill your request. This was unsurprising and logically and legally makes sense - and you guys know that it's not possible.

You have supplied no reasoning, and it's obvious to me that no legal claim is tying you or forcing you to hold my money b/c you've been disclosing my information when it should be sealed by your own terms and conditions but also by a legal claim if it existed.

Please let us know which law enforcement officer you contacted. We will be in touch with them.

It's like you intentionally ignore what I am saying, if this is a legal situation why hasn't any law enforcement officer contacted ME? I asked if there were any court orders or warrants and there is nothing.

I've been using fairlay for a couple of years now and have had no issues getting paid or them correcting mistakes on their end. I think i can say in most cases they have acted in good faith to resolve problems that come up.

Having said that this situation with dgen is very concerning and fairlay needs to come out with some reasonable explanation of why and how they decide to confiscate a players funds. Fairlays response that we can seize players funds at any time we want is really troubling and I'm shocked players are ok with it. Further dgen is suggesting they are sharing players information with 3rd parties without telling him why his funds are being confiscated, this is really terrible if true.

I myself will be minimizing my volume there until they come  out with a statement explaining why they are doing what their doing.

Yes Degen1, I have read the thread you involve in(both on SBR and bitcointalk). I definitely don't agree with some of the actions carry out by fairlay. Hopefully at the end all the info will be publicly released by all parties.

Agree,,, keep your accusations in one thread. Update it as often as you can (but not to spam) and keep all your evidence posted so that the public can view for themselves and determine if this is really the case that happened or not.

Fairlay seems to respond that they can freeze the account if they broke terms I agree any casino has the right to do this. But they should communicate everything clearly and block the account, and refund the deposits that is all.

You may set the accounts that are allowed to settle a market on it's creation. Anyway if you set any other settler than Fairlay, the market won't be listed on the website as this would be a security risk. Contact us if you intend to become a professional market maker here. In all other cases let Ognjen settle your markets....


So looks like all I need to worry about is adjusting the orders and creating market with the right time for now...Appreciate all the help guys Smiley

Is there some kind of rules regarding changing market date and settling market?

I first try to settle the market right away but got an error "XError: Settling Date not reached".
I figure is probably because the closing date and settle date is in the future so I try to change the market date with the API.
I tried with different dates ahead/behind of current time but all of them give me this error "XError: You are not allowed to do that"
Am I missing something here?

you dont need to settle a bad market just remove unmatched orders and let it die by itself. you also can contact support chat on fairlay and ask them to update the settle date if that is what you need. Easiest thing to do is just recreate the market again with updated dates add any unmatched orders and you should be good to go. Users settling markets its better to let fairlay settle them. are we talking sports or some "news" type stuff?

So I think it might be because of the following setting for my API user. Is there a way to grant API user access? I cant find anything in API and UI setting page.

1) Is live market basically the same as regular market except its market status is set to INPLAY?

2) I have created some dummy market for experimenting. I don't see any API to remove market, I guess settling is the only way to remove the market?

3) I saw you guys have a discord channel but looks like its locked? Is that still being used?

Ya that make sense. I imagine they have a script that has some kind of logic on when an order is matched, it trigger a check to query pinnacle's odds and if it didn't match, cancelled the matched order
