Hi mate, I just want to ask in last night I got the zepe.io token on the polytron network. I am very worried about using Dex like pancake, apeswap. is our wallet okay if there is a fake token?

Your wallet is ok even there's fake token inside it. It won't harm your wallet.

But connecting a wallet to an unknown and fake DEX, that's where the problem starts. Only refer to official DEX sites and try to analyze if that site is legit as it's easy to make a clone these days.
When connecting on a DEX then you would particularly need to put up your keys which means you are really on risk on losing all of your assets once you had signed or logged in into a fake one.
So thats why we should really be careful but as long we dont make any moves or does give out our keys then we should be fine and better to ignore those coins
and wont mind off because it wont give out anything harm but rather you are just simply accumulating those.

I think that bad choose when connecting wallet with unknow and fake DEX, but now why many address received thousand fake coin because scammer sent to all address make transaction on bsc scan, looks funny when new address with bsc network have received many kinds of fake coin or token, never connecting address with DEX exchange based on you said and always use right link when access to DEX exchange.

Fake tokens are only dangerous for newbies in cryptocurrency, while for those who are very experienced in cryptocurrency it will not feel dangerous because they know which tokens they should ignore as trash in their wallets.
not all crypto community have this knowledge, and its be our duty to share this knowledge so hacking accident could minimized if alot people understand. some beginer feel happy when they see new token come to their wallet, meanwhile behind of this they be hacking target.

Seriously, I  have many of these tokens in my wallet that I don't really know their source, thank God I know now that it's from Hackers, but I wonder how the tokens get into my wallet and I know that I never submit my wallet for any token.
hackers could get our address maybe by filtering token holders in any projects, and they send it to them. always ignore all strange thing for security reason.

Many people are currently losing some tokens from their wallets or unknowingly getting stuck in another wallet. Have we ever wondered why this is happening from someone's wallet? The main reason is hack. Hackers are banging the tokens through their surveillance. Any small amount or big. If you ever notice some tokens in your wallet that are being added without your knowledge.I'm going to swap or sell your token without thinking about where the token came from. Never do that. Because hackers put their tokens in your wallet and when you go to swap or sell the token without seeing the token, hackers like the token. Remove from your wallet. Some tokens that you will never swap or sell-

Is there any way to remove these tokens from the wallet?

U cant remove the tokens unless you burn them to burn address, but if u only annoyed by the amount of the token, wallet like trust or metamask have option to hide some tokens.

They simply take the addresses of the wallets of the participants in one of the bounties through the spreadsheet and send them these fake coins or they take their email addresses and send them scams so we all have to be careful and these fake coins if you want to remove them from your wallet you can create a new wallet and send those coins to it they will take some fees and I think if you hold them and ignore them it would be better.

Although I try to limit participation in airdrops, I still see such things appearing on my personal wallet. I've heard a lot of warnings about something like this, it's not really a big deal to me, but newcomers to the field need to be wary of things like this because it's very common. You will probably lose money if you try to sell it.

Yes, sometimes there are also fake tokens that intentionally promise to return many times, this will be very tempting for beginners and they easily spend money to pay transaction fees, but they are all fake and will not keep their promises, this is the importance of recording projects or what airdrops we participate in so that we know which assets we really get from our work and which are just fake tokens.

Scam tokens are not new in the market, the majority of the scam tokens are ETH tokens, and they don't actually have a value since they are not listed in an exchange, and for some instance, they get listed but on a shady exchange. With knowledge, we will know what coins are shitcoins and what coins are legit, and we will not waste our time on a project that promises a lot but does not show they are working to achieve it.

I have those in my wallet too. However, I just simply ignore them and not wanting to exchange those scam tokens. These scammers are doing the crypto honeypot scam. You might wanna Google or Youtube that bro. Recently, my friends are also inquiring that same concern to me and I just told them not to exchange them forever because it's a trap hole when they attempt to exchange these scam coins for good.

Actually there are many more scam tokens that go into some people's wallets and to make sure whether the token is a scam or not, I suggest using this link https://rugdoc.io/honeypot/, if it's not verified then don't do anything with the token
I just found out. looks how it works is also simple. just need to enter the contract address if I'm not mistaken. and we can see verified or not. this is very helpful.

I often get emails requesting to send ethereum to a wallet address for the reason of transaction fees, many even promise to give a big bonus of up to 10x the ethereum I send, I believe this is a scam so the best way is to ignore the email. other than that we must be vigilant to click the link in the email because this is usually a malicious program to steal our data.

Yes, it is clearly dangerous and is definitely a scam, especially if it promises unreasonable profits, only thoroughness can prevent us from such scams.

Unfortunately, especially new investors can fall into such traps. Of course, no one will give you anything for free, but many people think that they can get rich and are scammed with such fake tokens. That's why you should know about every coin you own and be careful when investing. The tokens that you think came with the airdrop may be fake. I've got these fake tokens too Cheesy

I have some of these tokens in my wallet and so are the hundreds of thousands of wallets I'm surprised that they are willing to spend gas fees for these huge numbers of wallets, they really invest on a gas fees and hoping that many will fall victims to their scheme, it's better to just ignore these so-called scam airdrops coins or if you are interested go and dig deep and hopefully you'll found out that these are scam coins.

I think everyone can get rid of this problem if they have idea about this kind of token. Everyone should have knowledge that most of the time “free” does not bring good. So greediness must be controlled as much as possible.

I think you won't end up swapping that coins because there's no liquidity for it. Just let them reside in your wallet. If you are confused or curious as you don't know how you get that token then you can do some research if that token is active.

It's no different during the hype of ERC20 tokens. Those unknown tokens will only be noticeable if there's a market price. If there's not, then it will just be ignored so don't worry about the scam.

The tokens on the scam on ERC20 or BSC are usually sent to your wallet automatically and set at a very high price on exchanges with the purpose of hitting the psychology of ignorant people so that those people can swap that token on the DEX and then they approve the contract of that scam token, and after doing that, the money in your wallet will automatically go to the hacker's wallet in a simple way, to fix this you can revoke the tokens that scam token using the platform: https://app.unrekt.net/. You will be charged a small fee each time you revoke, but please do this often to avoid losing money on your wallet.

that's a fake token in the wallet purely as a crime not a promotion or anything else. I've heard that fake tokens in wallets are very dangerous and it's clearly targeting people who don't understand cyber crime. need education about this so as not to make many people become victims of this fake crime

Of the eleven fake tokens that the OP mentioned in my wallet, I have the 6 types of tokens mentioned, I don't know where they came from even though I've never done an airdrop task if it's from an airdrop, then is this the work of scamers who always try to send tokens to for sale at fake prices?
Sometimes I like to laugh seeing the price of these tokens being hundreds of thousands of dollars on a trustwallet but in reality it can't be used for anything.
Damn always getting useless tokens.
^When I was most active in bounty hunting before I always encounter the same like this get a free token from the giveaways but until now there is no value. And there are more, it requires me to send a small amount of ETH so that soon it will airdrop me a token but it will never arrive. There are too many fake tokens that scammers lurking us a hunter. If you are a newbie hunting airdrop, you must be careful because as of now, they are not worth it anymore, the exchange has high fees and everything has high fees.
