That's a good point about the captcha. It surely does not help keep our bounce rate low :/. The reason that it's there is that I want people to have some satoshi in their account when they come to the site for the first time. Basically what happens is that you hit the faucet when you solve that captcha and get some coins credited. If I do not have people solve a captcha and give away coins, that poses a security threat (someone could write a script to claim the "welcome coins" again and again). It's not an ideal solution, but the best I could come up with. If someone has an better idea, please let me know...

Also, thanks for letting me know about that "invalid API parameter" thing, will have to look into that.


I'm glad you ask, because many people have this question. The charts move purely by chance. Chart bet is really similar to a dice game on autoplay. Every few seconds we compute new random numbers that determine whether the charts go up or down and how much. If you've bought a chart that goes up by 100 satoshi, then your balance will increase by 100 satoshi; if the chart falls by 100 satoshi then your balance decreases by that amount.

I had written up an explanation for how chart bet works, but I forgot to add it in the latest redesign. Will get the explanation back online with the next update (later tonight or tomorrow, see comment above about my eta-skills :-)

Fastbets has gone through some very extensive upgrades and is looking better each day! If you haven't checked out fastbets in a while definitely come back and see the vast improvements!

Very good interface i like this desing and dice .

I really like what has been done design wise on the site. The bets showing up on the right side looks really good and the way you modified the bet parameters also makes a lot of sense and makes it better to play. Keep up the good work

But i get something weird , first time i get in to the website there is a captcha    Is it necessarry? In home page really? Also i get error code "invalid API parameter" is it a bug?

Yes i also like some games such Rocket Pot and CHART BET,  special CHART BET unique and exciting game with a house edge 0.2%
but i want to ask what caused the chart / line up and down ? what this is based system that has been the program?

I should definitely take that into consideration MadeinCoin. However for all people who are less familiar to FastBets I'd like to mention that our most popular games (Slide Dice, Double or Nothing, and Rocket Pot) have a house edge of 1%. Plus we have Chart Bet with a radically low house edge of just 0.2%.

I see the house edge is 1.2-2 %   for   BONUS DICE  and  1.2 % for FAIR FRUIT
most of the 1 % house edge on all gambling sites , you might consider to change the house edge 1 % even more Low  
by the way, new design is also nice

Quick update as to what's new on FastBets.

We used to have that classic "chat-left, game-top, bets-table-bottom" layout:




But I noticed that many players (myself included) would always scroll down a bit to see the bets table:




That's bad cause (a) annoying and (b) the game looks shit. So I moved the bets table to the right:





Have now implemented that table in all games. Now i am giving all games a visual overhaul (new buttons, new color scheme, better spacing of element, mobile support). Have finished this step for Double or Nothing:





Will now move on to redesigning our dice game Slide Dice. If anybody has an idea for an improvement for this game, let me know now while I'm working on it.

Ok, I wanted to post a list about what's new on FastBets.io, so here we go:

• A faucet :-)
• A new betting interface (no more annoying "bet size updated" popups for those of you who remember)
• I've spent a lot of time optimizing page load times down to a few seconds (would suck to be called FastBets and not load fast :-)
• Streamlined experience for new users (we show a splash screen that should load in less than a second)
• Have restructured the whole codebase in order to be able to iterate faster in the future
• Lots of smallish behind the screen improvements that improve stability and speed
• Tipping
• Some other things that I cannot come up with right now

I'm not gonna lie, some of the updates have not been earth shattering. But, they were necessary to get stuff in order for more exciting updates that I can start working on now.

Next up will be a visual redesign of all games. I'll start with our most hideous looking (but still fun) game Double or Nothing. If anyone would like to get a peak at the new design, just email me ([email protected]) or let me know here and I'll pm it over...
