Some tips to avoid a non-delivery fee:Not all accounts can receive a Bank Wire. An ACH and a Bank Wire are not the same process (although they both involve the delivery of digital funds). An account which is capable of receiving ACH may not be capable of receiving a bank wire. No payer can "know" if an account can accept a bank wire. If you are unsure if your account can accept bank wires, you should contact your bank.
The routing number for Bank Wires may be different than the routing number for ACH or checks. Major banks may use multiple routing numbers. Bank of American as an example has 27 active routing numbers depending on the account type, transfer method, and branch location . No payer can determine the correct routing number for your account. If you are unsure what routing number to use, you should contact your bank.
If you have a prepaid credit card which can be paid by ACH, the bank account for ACH (Direct Deposit) may not be the same as the sixteen digit credit card number. No payer can determine the correct account and routing number based on a credit card number. If you are unsure about how to fund your prepaid credit card by ACH (Direct Deposit), you should contact your credit card issuer.
Cashier's Checks are certified instruments. You should treat them like cash. Cashier's checks are extremely popular. Depsite the higher fee, roughly half of all our check payments involve cashier's checks. Unless you are sure you need a cashier's check, it is safer (and cheaper) to opt for the company check payout option. Unlike company check, a cashier's check can not have a "stop payment" or be canceled. In the event the cashier's check is lost, destroyed, stolen, or not negotiable (can't cash or deposit) the issuing bank will require that we wait until the check expires before releasing the funds. This means your funds will be "on hold" for a minimum of 90 (ninety) days. Be sure you understand the risks and limitations of cashier's checks.
