for buying crypto I use Yobit, because of very low commission. Sometimes it's zero.
For daily trade I use bittrex.

For me Binance is the way to go. Their interface is probbly the best out there. From the low cap coins exchanges I would prolly go ith KuCoin.
My favorite exchange is binance. The largest volumes of trade, many trading pairs, fees are low in BNB. I think to me that it is not very stable, there are lags of the desktop version.
There are several top rated cryptocurrency exchanges but few of them having great features and more secure exchanges and some these exchanges are Yobit, Cryptopia, Coinexchange, Hitbtc, Graviex,Bittrex and Binance and i am working with these exchanges from last 2 years and the best feature of yobit is they never delist any coin from exchange and the trading is always on.
Bittrex is favorite exchange for transaction and trade, many altcoin kinds there and transaction for deposit or withdrawal are process faster than another exchange. I have use bittrex more than two years and until now I still active using bittrex for trade. We have many optional to make trade in bittrex because have many kinds of altcoin to trade and make many chance to take profit with bittrex. Another exchange give us hard for making withrawal and deposit our balance.
Many now use Binance but there are still many different exchanges, including real decentralized exchanges that can not be manipulated very clearly, like Bittrex or Poloniex, so I think that the choice is always yours.
What exchanges would you prefer to see your crypto coin listed on? 
For a quick start in a normal market idex and switcheo depending if neo or eth based product. After Kucoin is good, Huobi keeps growing on me and of course Binance.
From the maybe upcoming exchanges I like cobinhood and also coinmetro. Cobinhood good security and if that market ever goes back to heavy trading again they are ready with a strong engine.
no favourite for me because they all are the same, I would go to exchanges that has a big volume and I could try to get some profits there. I would stay away from exchanges that do not have a good volume.
I assume that most people in crypto will choose Binance as their number one crypto exchange; as it has the highest volume of any other exchange to date. Definitely Binance.

Most favorite exchange site that i used to in trading coins and in investing in buying coin and selling coin are Bancor, Kucoin, Binance, the rest like Hitbtc, Ddex and Idex are for slightly used.

Personally, i believe it is good to instead spread your portfolio across different exchanges.
Nevertheless, listed below are my favorites:
- KuCoin - simple user interface and kucoin share discounts
- Poloniex - easiest charts to read
- Bittrex - stable and secure volume for numerous coins
Binance is on top for me. But i always tread carefully there specially with the markets which has a large amount of volume, they are a target of whales.
The more tokens I get in the trade
My favorite exchange is etherdelta. Of course, it has many drawbacks, but it presents the largest selection of ERC-20 tokens and for me this is the most important thing.
I do most of my trading on IDEX, due to decentralized exchange, but i also like Bittrex, as it is my first exchange, and never had any problem with it. However I also think Binance is very good and currently rank number #1, so most people use that one.
I like Bittrex, but every month there is a new exchange and there are many interesting features! And I chose Bittrex because it has never been hacked.
I think my favorite market is a market that has a very high volume trading conditions every day, if there is a market that has a very high daily trading volume then the movement of coin will be very fast and you will be easy to gain profit, for me the favorite market when this is binance.
I'll like to have exchange for BNB and Bittrex...I see good prospect.
