I love it because you can see all over the world where bitcoins are popping up, even in countries you would not expect.

I admit I miss-read the graph and overreacted.  Apologies all around.

I'm newish to the community and didn't know this had already been discussed.

However,  Josh, you're still a dick.

dhenson   -1 (for misreading graph) + 1 (for calling josh a dick) = 0  Wink

josh -1 for every missed order going back 12 months  = -62,000

Shouldn't you be building ASIC's instead of getting worked up from a few internet trolls?  Huh

They're waiting on a shipment of chips, guy. Or can't you read?

They said that the first few months lol.

11 months later...still waiting lol

It's not like there's a top bitcoin pool in Kansas City or anything... oh wait...
Dhenson: consummate idiot.
Feel like defending your intelligence now?

Is that your official (and as always eloquent) denial that BFL is not hashing on customer equipment?

Remember those magical wafers that just vaporized? was it 5 wafers?

However,  Josh, you're still a dick.

That's classic!!!  And you are SO right.

Not only is he a dick, but he's a liar and a cheat, and he'll be in prison in the next 18 months.  Should we wager?

This topic is dumb.

You should be looking at the miners graph, not the nodes graph.

https://blockchain.info/nodes-globe?series=topBlockRelay

Or do you really think BFL would run a bunch of nodes for fun?

Yes I am indeed totally shocked that:

1. It does not run on Safari.
2. There is no F***** zoom.
3. someone would choose such SHITE colours for sea & land masses
4. There is no roll over hash values on the quills.
5. Josh would waste his time replying.

Runs fine on safari for me, using latest version... after enabling the developer menu and using it to enable webgl.

Definitely could offer more detail, and a better zoom functionality to get city-based results (assuming based on IP address of the node)

That makes perfect sense.

0. You need money to build ASICs. Where to get it? Huh
1. Collect money from miner Cheesy
2. Build ASICs on miners' money  Wink
3. Run ASICs and feed miners with promises to deliver Grin
4. Deliver ASICs to miners when you took all the cream Kiss

No laws were violated. I would do the same. Seriously, I applaud you guys and admire your skills. And really hope that you get rich from this and teach all the rest a lesson.

That fancy world map is just a graph of the 1149 nodes that the blockchain.info client is connected to, and then it charts the number of incoming transactions that get relayed by that node first. It's not a map of hashrate or even blocks found, it's a map of the largest bitcoind nodes that they happen to be monitoring.

This came up months ago, and it was proven to be nothing but the fact that EMC is physically located right in that same area. Herpy-durp!

thats it.
