WTF, Ukraine? If their first 2 wins were expected, now they won against Italy without even having lasts seconds drama. Now they have good chance not only to get out from group, but also finnish 2nd or 3rd in group.
Tomorrow we have many good games like Germany - Slovenia, Italy - Croatia, Czech Republic - Finland. Belgium - Turkey should be interesting too. And decisive day for Lithuania. We must win against underdogs Hungary and wait that France will beat Bosnia. Otherwise we are eliminated.

These things affect the tournament in my opinion. There shouldn't be stuff like this, I wish we could just focus on the game.
Mate, as Lithuanian, I know what you feel. Such things shouldn't happen in such high level competition. If everything really happened as Turkey describes, it's unbeleavable. And also, referees have stolen over 20 seconds of this game and didn't even noticed it.

Haven't watched too much lately but how is the defense of teams in comparison of nba play?
It's difficult to compare it with NBA defense. Here we don't have defensive 3 seconds rule, what is killer for defense in the paint. But without few exceptions, nobody can't stop Doncic.

And now we have 0-3, despite that we were close from having 3-0. Lithuania lost after 2 Overtimes aagainst Germany. Again, we were close, but we simply don't have killers instinct. We didn't managed to stop Wagner who scored 32 points. In the end Schroder and Lo also added and these 3 players scored 78 of 109 Germany points.
Bosnia upset against Slovenia made things complicated in group B and Lithuania now don't have everything in their hands. Now we must beat Bosnia and wait that they will lose against France.
Belgium made biggest surprise of tournament by beating World Cup champion Spain. Belgium were leading most part of game, though in th quarter it looked that Spain already took initiative. But few Belgium 3-pointers closed the game.
It was a tough game for Bosnia and Herzegovina and yet they did the impossible by defeating the defending champions Slovenia. I was surprised at what their coach did using different strategies that would best fit the team and have Slovenia be on a rough night. Doncic is 0/8 at outside shots and his penetration moves are not working much.
It's a big achievement for them so B&H celebrated with their fans at the end of the game.  Smiley
IIRC, that was @8.40 when you bet for them in the money line or +10 for @2.00 in the second half.

Trying to watch some of this, I want to see doncic play international ball.  Any team to keep him at 0/8 shooting is nothing short of amazing.  Haven't watched too much lately but how is the defense of teams in comparison of nba play?

Where do we watch these games, is there an official website to watch the games for free? I only see the highlights on their website.
If local TV channels don't show Eurobasket, you can watch all games on https://www.courtside1891.basketball/ platform, but it's not free.
Thanks!

I've already found a source where to watch, my father and I just bonded and watched the game of Slovenia and Germany but on a replay.

These things affect the tournament in my opinion. There shouldn't be stuff like this, I wish we could just focus on the game. Group A is getting quite interesting. 4 teams with 2 wins in 3 games. It is hard to bet on this group, especially after Belgium won against Spain.
It certainly will affect the tournament and an issue like this really happens that we didn't expect to see. Let's just hope that things are going to be lighter and calm eventually.

And these two will settle and just have that attitude of being sports to each other and show much love for basketball as it reunites all fans from each participating countries and all over the world.

There was another drama yesterday in Georgia - Turkey game where hosts unexpected won game after overtime. Turkey coach Ataman got ejected (nothing new for him) and now Turkey threatens to leave Eurobasket because Georgia players allegedly assaulted Korkmaz in tunnel.
It's sad that this Eurobasket is getting ruined by such scandals and huge mistakes of referees. https://basketnews.com/news-177445-blatant-mistakes-are-ruining-eurobasket-experience.html It's long article, but you can get image how terrible FIBA referees is. We haves best players from NBA and Euroleague, but referees who are working here is from third tier competitions.
I genuinely cannot believe how much scandals happening in Eurobaskets and this one is not different. For Euroleague games, we don't see such drama and bad management. But Eurobaskets are much much worse, especially referees.

I'm not saying this because I'm Turkish but terrible things have happened yesterday. We played very bad and didn't deserved to win, there was no excuse to lose. But the things transpired are a different story. Balkans football and basketball stadiums are no stranger to violence but I didn't expect that in a national game, a Eurobasket game at this level. There could always be tension between players and ejections are normal but attacking with 3 players and 2 security guards to a player and a coach who is going to the locker room is just absurd and cowardly. And later, the security workers and police also attacked the whole Turkish national team. According to Turkish Basketball Federation officials (https://www.eurohoops.net/en/eurobasket/1386277/omer-anan-turkey-federation-eurobasket/). And I see that now Georgia denied these accusations. I really would the see the security footage of these events. It is utterly that easy to see what happened.

These things affect the tournament in my opinion. There shouldn't be stuff like this, I wish we could just focus on the game. Group A is getting quite interesting. 4 teams with 2 wins in 3 games. It is hard to bet on this group, especially after Belgium won against Spain.

Personally I don't like parlays with such low odds. Potential win isn't big and risk is quite high. Someone still will have to screw up things as we already saw with Slovenia and Spain. I rather pick single bet with similar odds.

Defeat against France was really painful. We were leading most part of game, but in the end, few mistakes and our struggle in offense let France to win game. And our NBA stars Sabonis and JV performance looks disappointing so far. We have 0-2 and now we must to win against hosts Germany today.
From yesterdays games, Greece had easy win against Italy. There was drama in Ukraine - Estonia game. Estonia were leading almost whole game, but in the end Ukraine were better and won. Finland simply destroyed Poland by 30 points.
Almost all today's games looks so one sided, except Germany - Lithuania.

At this moment just 4 points difference. It's a tight finish...

...
Super underdog games again. I'll pick just one from the long list. It's for Serbia to defeat Finland plus handicap -11.5. Good luck.

I like your bet on Serbia, I think I will try it with a single bet! Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, I thought they could at least preserve that 2 point lead and hang until the end of the game. But France has too many options for their offense. I was waiting for a miracle at the last minute but nothing happens.
Anyway, Germany vs Lithuania, like you said a must-win for them so I will bet one more time and I hope this time it will be a win. Just taking the moneyline @1.62.

Only Finland gave we the win.

Lithuania vs France game was hardcore. Both teams are going at each other in both the defensive and offensive end. At the near end of the game though, Evan Fournier found his rhythm and the France team noticed it so they feed him the ball. Truly a game changer.
Whoever was that player defending Marius Grigonis did a great job at stopping him to penetrate or shoot the ball from the outside. He was shut down and Lithuania was forced to look for other options that wrecked their whole play.

good to see basket topic, usually we comment most football

Serbia has good team, and I think that we could reach far with Jokic on board, since without him we are struggling in world cup qualifications

so far, win over Netherlands, Czech republic today, and I think we will finish with five wins in this group

I really liked Türkiye’s game in the friendly matches. There are still quite young and inexperienced players, the team does not consist of players who have played with each other and they need a few years of time. But they still have a very promising playing style. I think that they can come out of the group second, they may not get a good degree in this championship, but a very strong team will be formed for the coming years. I recommend you to watch today's match, Türkiye vs Bulgaria Smiley

I am having a hard time with what game to bet for. Most of the games are way far underdogs, handicaps given are too high. It makes you doubt if those numbers are even reachable.
Montenegro vs Belgium game is about to start.
I guess I will stick with following you, bro.
I'm also backing Finland against Poland, I hope they won't disappojnt me again Smiley. In all other games we have obvious favorites playing against underdogs.
Finland ML.

Also, I will add a bet for Lithuania to defeat France. Hmmm. This is going to be an interesting game, I will definitely watch it.
Greece vs Italy at second to the last game for today. I might not be able to watch it so I will just leave a bet for Greece too.

Group B is very strong, while group A is weak. There was no balanced distribution. Since the top 4 teams are out of the group, it matters who matches who in the next round. The real event will start already in the quarterfinals.
Spain and Türkiye will be the leading teams in Group A. Group B has too many candidates. Who finishes where is also very critical for the next rounds. Perhaps this standing will determine the fate of the tournament. In Group C, Greece will lead, Italy can be second. Serbia will become the leader in Group D. The favorites in the groups seem to be obvious, with the exception of group B. Of course, there is also the possibility of coming out of the group 1st and being matched with a very strong team in group B. Then it won't matter where you finished your group. We can draw a clearer roadmap after we see the round of 16.

Fun fact that Slovenia didn't got qualified for last World Cup, while being Eurobasket champions. It's because qualifiers is very flawed - players from NBA and Euroleague can't play in qualifers windows as their schedule don't allows them to do it. It's main reason why in this Eurobasket we don't have strong Latvia team.
I think their career on NBA was more important. Yeah, Latvia was a strong team too especially if they have healthy Porzingis and Kurucs but if the schedule is in conflict that will really bad for the team. The next games they have will be on November and that's still early for the NBA regular season, they're for sure busy with their personal NBA teams.

Greece - Croatia was another great game with beast performance of Giannis. Together with Dorsey he scored 54 of 89 Greece points and let their team to win. There was quite an upset - Poland win against Czech Republic and Poland simply dominating the game. Finland lost against Israel after overtime. And Serbia, Italy and Ukraine had easy wins against weakest tournament teams.
Tomorrow is very intensive day with 12 games to be played. Main of it is France - Lithuania and according to bookmakers both teams have almost same chances to win. Italy - Greece might be interesting too. I'm also backing Finland against Poland, I hope they won't disappojnt me again Smiley. In all other games we have obvious favorites playing against underdogs.

Group A will be dominated by Spain, B by Slovenia, C by Greece and D by Serbia. This is my take in this FIBA Eurobasket. I think the real winner here will be Slovenia for Europe, I think even in the World Cup they can still dominate there, of course, if they has the same roster as we are seeing right now.

Ergh, I thought I already won it, I was thanking Giannis Antetokounmpo for shooting the free-throw to make the lead a 7-point game, and then suddenly the 3-point prayer went in by Jaleen Smith of Croatia. Ouch!

Anyway, that was a great game. Both teams are banging each other hard on the defensive end. Saric looks healthy and it's good news for the Phoenix Suns. Bojan and Zubac were also looking great.
But the best player of the game, Giannis, worked both ends of the floor, from getting the blocks and then turning them to transition plays which was an automatic score for him. No one can stop him.

Tnoday I'm going with Finland win over Israel and Czech Republic win against Poland with price boost.
Easy opening game for Serbia, I'm going to look for points over markets there.

Where do we watch these games, is there an official website to watch the games for free? I only see the highlights on their website.
If local TV channels don't show Eurobasket, you can watch all games on https://www.courtside1891.basketball/ platform, but it's not free.
I will be watching Greece vs Croatia later and also taking the offer of -6.5 win by Greece. I think it's reachable.

It's difficult to find free live streaming services. I bumped into one and the commentators are in different language, I am having a hard time to understand what is happening on the floor.  Cheesy
Yeah, the best option is the link given by LTU_btc and it's actually the official streaming service being offered by FIBA.
Stake.com don't have a live stream too unlike when it's NBA.

Edit: Finland lost bro. Sorry. I was also rooting for them and Markkanen played well but it was not enough. Refs calls at the last minute of overtime are also questionable.
