Crypto is very volatile, it happens with every coin.

So why exactly is the coin collapsing? No reason for that. It was over 130 and is 49 now.
The fibre team appear to be working on some pretty solid stuff, I wouldn't fret about price at this stage

It looks like Blocknet ito sucked a lot of btc from alts , Blocknet trading has already started on all exchanges, which should have less of an affect on the markets

can someone please tell me how to find the public key for Fibre Connect.

You can use fclocalkeys in console , public key is the one below your address
To use FibreConnect your wallet must be encrypted and unlocked at least for staking
