I will always remember this finale as being among one of the bests. If we didn't see that comeback by France it was going to be a really boring ending for a World Cup. Because Argentina were literally in full control of the game unlike the expectations. France were like they weren't aware of playing in a final game in the biggest tournament in the world.

However it feels like Argentina will miss these times a lot from now on. Maybe they will need to wait another 30+ years to achieve another title who knows. Because after Messi's retiring from the national team we never know how they will react to this.

Argentina has certainly not played the most beautiful football. There is indeed a big blemish on the victory. Especially in the match against the Netherlands, the referee whistled heavily in favor of Argentina. Messi made a very clear handball and didn't even get a yellow card. I wonder what would have happened if every other player on the field had committed this action. I'm not saying it was fixed either, but the referee seemed very keen for Argentina to go through. The Polish referee whistled well in the final. Based on fighting spirit and mentality, Argentina is the rightful winner.

I personally did not really expect that Argentina would win yesterday to be honest because for me, the French team just has a stroner squad and has better players than Argentina at almost every position. I was expecting any of the team to win the match, and the games was like something any of the team could win. It was tough to each other, if France had won I won't be surprise and am not also surprised by Argentina winning the game.

I think he and Cristiano Ronalda is at the top with the greats like Michael Jordan, Muhammed Ali etc. What surprised me is the Argentina team. With the help of Di Maria's performance, they exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect them to score and almost dominate like that. They were not incredibly good but they managed to score 2 great goal against France in the final like that. That is impressive. I did not see that happening before the game. Amazing achievement for Argentina and what a world cup it was.

I think you're wrong on saying that messi doesn't deserve the accolades given to him. The man is just extraordinary when its come to football. The guy has done and achieve what most players have not done. for me, messi and Ronaldo are two impressive players the world would miss when it comes to football. because they have entertained everyone in football by their consistent performance every single year and season for the last twelve years.
As for the trophy he has achieved, i think he has won all the above trophy mentioned and even more, he has broken so many records set by football legends for example :

I strong agree, even the bettors were certainly rooting for France to win because before the championship rounds, they showed better performance and their efforts are far more better than what Argentina did. But everything has changed when these two stated teams met in the Championship, it seems to me that France were not on their own selves when they faced the opposite team especially Messi and weird enough to see that their defense is not that tight which led a 2-0 run in favor of Argentina. But then Mbappe seems to regain consciousness and brought back the teams morale when he did a hat trick which tied the score into 3-3.

In the end, Argentina prevailed and Martinez became a hero when he successfully blocked 2 penalty kicks from the French team in a penalty shoot-out.

Mbappe played like a fighter yesterday, he was fighting alone for france and score a hatrick for his country but unfortunately when things came to other people in penalty shootout everything was ruined , all his efforts and hardwork.
Yesterday France at start were really off track and didn't even tried to goal. It was Mbappe efforts that saved France from an embarrassing defeat .

It's true that yesterday Mbappe carried France on his shoulders and repeatedly showed hope. But unfortunately, nobody could do that with Mbappe, even in the tiebreaker. Otherwise, maybe France would have been champions.
