I really don't understand how Belgium is always the 1st team in the ranking with the low-mid results they have, is a mystery.
Anyway, good victory for them.

Superb Spain and disaster from Germany again after 2018.

Waiting to see the game for Brazil but at the moment it seems Spain and France in a very strong shape.

People must be wondering if we would see another surprising result tomorrow. But I don't expect such thing to happen especially in Portugal - Ghana and Brazil - Serbia games. Both of the favourite sides should be able to get wins nicely. I think Portugal will have a nice domination against Ghana and get a win by at least two goals. I expect Ronaldo to score as well.

Brazil have an amazing attacking line and I don't expect them to give too many chances to their opponent. Maybe there are some weaknesses in their defense but I think their offense will be dominant in this game. It should be helpful for a comfortable win.

Arabs stopped Argentina, Japanese stopped Germans and anyone would be completely shocked by the results of these two fights. Who would have thought that two non-seeded teams like Saudi Arabia and Japan would be able to beat Argentina and Germany in almost the same scenario?

Although I'm very disappointed with the German team's performance at this year's World Cup, I think that Japan played well and deserved to win. Japanese team played a very disciplined game, with excellent teamwork and solid defense. Germany dominated possession, especially in the first half, and had more shots on target, but Japan showed greater creativity and flair in the second half, which ultimately led to their win. I don't think it was a case of the Germans being flat or not playing to their potential. They just weren't as good as they could have been. It was a case of the Germans being outplayed by an opponent that knew what they were doing and played to their strengths. Japan's defense was also very good, and their goalkeeper made some excellent saves to keep Germany off the scoresheet.

If I'm going to talk about the 2nd half, maybe I'm being a bit assertive, but it is easily among the 20 games with the highest viewing pleasure in the history of the world (including league matches). Especially after the defeat in the first period, the Japanese came in waves in the second half. They came in waves and roared like a tsunami. Japan even almost scored the third goal. Germany also showed a strong game, although not as in the old days. As a result, I would like to thank both teams for watching a good match. Germany's chances seem slim to me. Spain seems like in a great form. Germany is in trouble.

It happens at every World Cup and European Championship. Many teams surprise each time, and it's hard for me to say that any team is embarrassing. Argentina, for example, could have won, but they got 3 offsides, is that fair? Maybe that's why they lost. I think the Germans just let their guard down too.
I think it's unfair if the referee really makes the wrong decision, but since it's right, I have to think it's fair for Argentina. I only regret that Saudi Arabia was too eager to intimidate the Argentinian players with an aggressive game that ended up hurting one of player themselves before the end of the match, this is definitely not the most exciting sporting spectacle I have ever seen. But maybe only in this way can Saudi Arabia win, because if they play like Costa Rica today then maybe there will be a lot of goals to come.

very boring game it is between Canada and Belgium
After watching great game between Argentina and Saudia and JApan and Germany - this seems very boring
It clearly wasn't that boring for me. The Canadians posed an interesting challenge and in many ways, performed more than the Belgium team but, express have got its part in a game and I think that's what helped Belgium sail through the Canadians today.

Indeed. I don't know which match he's referring to, but I definitely wouldn't call the match between Belgium and Canada boring. The outcome is perhaps what everybody expected, but this result doesn't tell half of the story. In fact, it's a very exciting game, full of suspense and suspenseful moments. The two teams are equal in terms of quality and they both try to score, but they can't find a way through. This makes the game very tense and exciting, a game that's worth watching, even if you're not a big fan of either team.

Just look at these stats:

Belgium still managed to win 1-0. The matches in this group today were 0-0 and 1-0, very few goals. Several 0-0 matches have already occurred in this tournament. But the first game is often a matter of getting through unscathed, then it doesn't matter whether that happens with beautiful football or not. Everyone would like to win 7-0, but Costa Rica is of a low category at this World Cup. I think you can put it in the same row as Qatar. It's been a long time since Navas had to get a ball out of the goal 7 times. But the level will only get higher now. I'm still curious about the match between Croatia and Belgium, it could go either way.
Canada actually played very well in their opening match against Belgium today; they wore more shorts than Belgium and attacked Belgium well as a result of their sincere desire to earn at least a point in the game. Meanwhile, they were defeated by a breathtaking goal from Batshuayi after giving up a penalty in the game. On the other hand, Croatia and Morocco played well, and the game ended in a scoreless draw, demonstrating how crucial it is for both teams to earn points. However, Belgium has shown us that they have a lot of skilled players, and they now hold the lead.

I don't understand why a player of the class of Alphonso Davies could fail to convert the penalty opportunity given by the referee into a goal for Canada, maybe his mentality as a Canadian player is very different from when he played for Bayern Munich. In this second half maybe we won't see any additional goals or at least there will be 1 additional goal from Belgium, there will be no more chance for Canada to rise. What do you think?
Even the greatest footballers of all time like Messi, Ronaldo, Zidane, etc all missed penalties, no player is sure of converting a penalty everytime, some score more times than they miss, but there must come a time that they won't score, and it is normal. Davies didn't score because the goalkeeper guessed the right way and made the save, it has nothing to do with his mentality, he isn't a penalty specialist, i don't even think he has taken so many in his career, he does not take penalties for Bayern Munich too. There were no additional goals in the match by the way, Batshuayi's 44th minute strike was what separated the teams when the referee blew his final whistle.
Alphonso Davies is an experienced forward who should have helped changed the status of Canada who have not scored a single goal in the world cup history. If He was able to score Canada would have gotten their first ever point in the world cup and would have been something to celebrate. He is a game maker in Bayern i was expecting the Davies of Bayern to make things happen in Canada. He should be able to strengthen and motivate the team

Germany deserved to win compared to Japan, but I think Germany squandered too many chances and underestimated Japan a bit. I agree Germany created a lot of chances but their finishing was unlucky regardless of the reasons. Almost the same as Argentina, but Germany looks worse in my opinion.

But don't worry, Argentina and Germany both have a chance to win their next two matches in the group stage. The problem is they have to win it, they have to avoid defeats and draws in the next 2 matches to ensure they qualify for the round of 16. It will really be hard to imagine how these two big teams will fight in the next 2 matches, but really their every match will be a final from now on.
The World Cup has only just started, but we have already seen surprising results as weaker teams disgrace stronger ones. As time goes on, stunning results will continue to be revealed. But you never know, which country will take home the world cup.

Germany lost to Japan as a result of a poor tactical substitution. Even though the game is still in progress, you change to Muller and take out Gundogan. A poor substitution that the Germans coach won't have done

Well this loss of Germany against Japan was definitely a big surprise but by far not as big as the loss of Argentina against Saudi Arabia. Today Germany also was the dominating team for at least 65 minutes or so and they had a ball possession of 78% in the first half if i remember correctly but that alone does not really mean anything of course. They also had a lot of chances to make it to 2-0 but Germany was just not efficient enough today in the offense. Gnabry, Musiala and Gündgan all had good chances to score the second goal. After the 60th minutes Germany became more and more shaky and therefore the 2 goals of Japan were the logical consequence.

Belgium looks shaky but they leave the impression that they could score out of nowhere anytime they want and I'm curious how they will perform with Lukaku on the pitch because tonight they are kinda fortunate to beat Canada by 1-0, during the fact that Canada had a missing penalty but also 3 clear chances to score besides that  Undecided.

Looking at Croatia and Marocco , neither of them will have an easy game against Canada and I could see them beating both of them and moving out of group F with Belgium alongside.
Am not very much of a R. Lukaku fan but he would have performed the more bettee than Michy Batshuayi who I think wasn't in form today. He missed a lot of opportunities by simply wasting more time to take the shot, puts it off target, get deflected or couldn't even control the ball at all. He might have scored the winning goal on the end but, he wasn't in form on that pitch. Kevin De Bruyne should be trying some solo move, i didn't see much of that from him today.

You could say almost the same thing for Poland as R. Lewandowski also directed his penalty shoot, right into the hands of the goalkeeper even when these two knew what it meant for there country.

Well, like that roughly. BTW, the Belgium Vs Canada match ended with a score of 1 - 0, no other goals after the goal from Batshuayi at the end of the first half, I was lucky because I chose the bet for under 2 goals. This is in line with my prediction in the previous post:

In this second half maybe we won't see any additional goals or at least there will be 1 additional goal from Belgium, there will be no more chance for Canada to rise.

For tomorrow's matches we will see 4 matches, Switzerland Vs Cameroon, Uruguay Vs South Korea, Portugal Vs Ghana and Brazil Vs Serbia. I think the Switzerland Vs Cameroon match will be a tough match, while for the other 3 matches, I don't think we need to discuss who will be the winner, LOL.

Most German fans expected a straight winning for the team since history is already favorable to Germany, but then this year's world cup is different from the others and full of unexpected game outcomes, but since we are at the group stage we may be seeing a new development in the next stage of the world cup when the bigger teams will start facing each other.

Germany did play well if we are being honest; the chances were difficult to convert because Germany played major parts of the game without a striker. Haverts is not a striker, i do not understand why coaches continue to use him in that position. Also football is a game of chances; Japan took their chances, defended well and got the 3 points deservedly
It is true that Germany has no solid number 9 in this world cup. They are depending on midfielders at this stages and they need to change their tactics. It is really tough situation for Germany and they have to think again and again for qualifying for next round. They need to win their next 2 matches to secure their position.

Missing penalties is a natural thing, even many other star players who fail to do so when their team needs a win. So I won't think too much about the reasons why a player misses a penalty in one match.

Belgium was lucky in the end because Canada failed to take advantage of its opportunity to excel through a penalty. Belgium turned 1-0 up until the end of the match thanks to Michy Batshuayi's goal at the end of the first half. Canada played well with a few chances, but sadly they weren't really put to good use at the end of the match. Canada's defeat today made Belgium lead Group F with 3 points, while Croatia, who played a draw, is in second place.
Let's see if Canada is able to perform well in their next matches with Crosia and Morocco - they were not able to score even one goal in their match with Belgium but their goalkeeper did very well in today's match
But it was a slow game. Best to luck to Canada for their upcoming match

Now Belgium are in the lead by 1-0 against Canada. However Canada's missing that penalty was a turning point for Belgium as well. I'm still not very confident about Belgium until they make it 2-0.
Canada should have scored more than a goal in that first half even after that poorly played penalty, the goal keeper for Belgium is very experienced and has just been good and Canada have not been good scoring when they have had their opportunity. They will regret it if the game finishes and they are not winners. If they let Belgium score again, it will be demoralizing for them because of how more impossible it will look win this game.

Even after 90 minutes, Canada could not score. They are playing very well. I thought the Canada team was weak. But their gameplay really impressed me today. They played very well. Canada's players have been able to attack a lot. But Canada's players felt helpless against Belgium's experienced defender and goalkeeper Courtois. I would say Belgium will win this match due to the performances of Courtois and Alderweireld. These two players played superbly today. And saved Belgium from a couple of sure goals

seems like many big team will be out soon. I don't know how Messi is feeling after losing the game from Saudia Arabia.
What a joy Saudis give to their nation and what a shock Argentina gave to their fans. Now Saudia which was not in the early discussion  is the hot favourite team of the world cup too

That wining over Argentina by the Saudis is really a big shock to the Argentines entirely, even with the early penalty that was awarded to them, It couldn't help matters. I still believe that the Lionel Messi side will have the opportunity to qualify from the group stage.
So as a lesson, let them know that there's no small team in this this year's world , unlike before where we usually have big teams dealt with the small teams.
But we hope and expect for more surprises
Argentina attempt at the goal was so much but the Saudi goalkeeper did an amazing job.
But I think the joy Saudi gave to many muslim countries is worth million and you are very right in mentioning that there is no small team.
