Watching Germany so desperate against Japan was pretty unexpected for me. I just thought like Germany would destroy them by a big goal difference. But now we are talking about how they can lose by 2-1 here. The first was under full control of Germany. They should have been able to score at least two goals then. They just experienced the same thing Argentina did against Saudi Arabia.
Spain showed how it is done. They turned it into a show as well by finishing off Costa Rica by 7-0. Now Belgium are in the lead by 1-0 against Canada. However Canada's missing that penalty was a turning point for Belgium as well. I'm still not very confident about Belgium until they make it 2-0.

Arabs stopped Argentina, Japanese stopped Germans and anyone would be completely shocked by the results of these two fights. Who would have thought that two non-seeded teams like Saudi Arabia and Japan would be able to beat Argentina and Germany in almost the same scenario?
Although I'm very disappointed with the German team's performance at this year's World Cup, I think that Japan played well and deserved to win. Japanese team played a very disciplined game, with excellent teamwork and solid defense. Germany dominated possession, especially in the first half, and had more shots on target, but Japan showed greater creativity and flair in the second half, which ultimately led to their win. I don't think it was a case of the Germans being flat or not playing to their potential. They just weren't as good as they could have been. It was a case of the Germans being outplayed by an opponent that knew what they were doing and played to their strengths. Japan's defense was also very good, and their goalkeeper made some excellent saves to keep Germany off the scoresheet.
Yes, this shouldn't be a big problem for Germany to protest what Qatar has implemented in this world cup. all countries must respect the rules enforced by Qatar in this world cup. I think they should have focused on their game rather than protest - have they had been more focused on the game they would have won the game and we would not have got the shock of their defeat. Likewise - the same this iranian did. They should put everything aside and focus on their game.Because only victory will be celebrated and honored

I thought Belgium was the favorite in this match. Because they have star players like Hazard, De Bruyne and Courtois in their squad. But their performance today is not satisfactory. Belgium is not playing very well. Canada's players are attacking a lot. Canada had a chance to score from the penalty spot, but they missed. Belgium is an experienced team. Canada is playing well though. But I don't think Canada will be able to win. Belgium is still the most likely to win. However, none have scored so far. The match is getting quite entertaining.

I really think that the results of World Cup matches are very difficult to predict before the match. I'm not sure Saudi Arabia and Japan will qualify from the group stage, but whatever I doubt at the moment is always possible to go wrong and both teams qualify. Japan might qualify if they manage to win either of the next two matches, but I'm not sure if Costa Rica will actually be as bad as they were today. Argentina on the other hand may find it very difficult to win match against Poland as well as Mexico but it is always possible to expect Argentina to qualify for the last 16.

Watching the Belgium vs Canada game I must say that I'm very surprised at the level that Canada is playing. I know they qualified for the World Cup as the first team in their group, but I didn't expect that they will play this good against Belgium. Too bad for them that they missed the penalty but if they keep playing at this level, they are closer to winning than Belgium.
Also, I'm afraid what they will do to Croatia on Sunday if they will play at this level. Especially if Croatia will play as bad as they did today.

Spain's performance tonight was amazing, it's hard to believe they were able to win such a big win over Costa Rica. This victory is certainly an important asset for them to secure a place in the next round. Spain will have a decisive match against Germany on the second matchday. Victory can pave the way for the Matador team. But for Germany it is mandatory to win to maintain hope in the group stage, if they lose again, the Panzer Team will certainly lift their bags earlier than Qatar.
You can imagine Germany making Argentina's msitake. Coming to the front line with an idea of "they could beat and would beat Japan no matter how hard Japan tries". It turns out Japan wasn't ready to not have a 3 point against a strong side in there group. At least they've got the pace and young tactical team to get the job done.
The playouts in both games were just similar. Argentina gets a penalty and L. Messi scores with Saudi Arabia coming from behind to win 2 goals to 1.
While, Germany had an early penalty and Gundogan scores but still, Japan comes from behind to claim the win.

Some teams have become really strong in this World Cup.Like yesterday we saw the game between Argentina and Saudi Arabia where the most powerful name Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia.Again today I saw that Japan beat Germany.Like in yesterday's match no one believed that Saudi Arabia would win and in today's match no one believed that Japan would win. But whatever one says is strong only when one can win a tough fight. All the teams that won the World Cup this year are really strong.
But the celebration in Saudia and UAE is still going on. The Saudi gov have given a day off in celebration of the win.

They have demonstrated that they have cohesion. Costa Rica is a good team but not that a test for Spain. There next game against Germany will be the real test since they will be playing against a wounded team that has excellent players. Another thing is the back line of Spain looks agey to me especially there fullbacks will they have the ability to keep the tempo throughout the campaign is a big question.

Spain started the competition the best way, i really didn't expect such preformence because when you see the line up no many good players are in the pitch, i really felt that spain became a normal team but it seems they have many things to say this year

Basically you are right. Spain is superior in quality to Costa Rica, and Spain has a good game strategy that makes Costa Rica fail to defend well. Right now maybe a lot of people are still doubtful about Spain which at the 2022 World Cup has a young squad. But if they can qualify for the last 16 by winning all the matches in the group stage, then I don't think we still need to doubt their abilities.

In the end, it's a big win for Spain and I think it's the easiest game to predict. The most surprising fact is, Keylor Navas not being able to save his country from conceding so many goals, this was something he was most ashamed of.
