I think the percentages are about right. I just want to note that Brazil became world champions for the last time in 2002, having been the favorite to win every edition since then. So in theory it could pay off to place a bet against Brazil that they won't win the world championship. I expect more from France than from Brazil. For Belgium it is the last chance with this team.
France and Brazil have same chance to win this world cup, with best football player in their team i am believe its ideal to have final between Brance and Brazil. Brazilians or france player play for top football club in around the world and ofcourse they have been pass competitive league to improve their skills. interested to see what will be in qualification stage which is team will passed.

What do you think about these winning probabilities?

World Cup 2022 odds: England to face USA

For me it's surprising to see England side by side with France in second place, both ranking 15% winning chance, ahead of Argentina and Germany, which by the way ranks only 10% and 8%, respectively. I also think Brazil is always overestimated, since they are at the same level of argentinian soccer, but score 18%, almost the double of Argentina's winning chances.

Agreed, I think England is a bit too high.  Might just be the Cas of more people just fan betting on England raising the odds.  I would think Germany should be sitting higher than them.  Might be some good value there taking a punt on germane at these odds

The fact that Pepe still plays and gets into the national team, by the way, is a more amazing achievement than, for example, the fact that Ibrahimovic is still playing. In the attack, it is more likely that the time depends on you when you have to strain and make a breakthrough, and in defense you are always led and even if there are no forces, but the enemy is attacking, you must give all your best at 200% and not take a break. And I must also say that despite the fact that a whole generation is leaving Portugal, young players are very promising and quite possibly will be a worthy replacement and will continue to fight for titles.

Ibrahimovic playing at 40 is just insane. I would say Lewandowski, who kicked him out, at 33 is already at the older bracket, and this is probably going to be his last world cup with Poland.

My guess is that a younger squad will get the cup this time. Still not sure which one, excited to see the start of the world cup, there has been so many covid delays!

Bad news: Ibrahimovic was out for 7-8 months due to surgery on his left knee, I hope this is not the end of his career because at this age it is very difficult to recover.
I don't think that there is a correlation between the team's World Cup success and age - this is a short-lived random tournament and it makes no sense to draw any conclusions from several games. Both the oldest and the youngest team (from the group of favorites) can win.

What will happen to Portugal after the Ronaldo era? Some of the other key players will be retiring soon (Rui Patrício, Pepe, José Fonte, João Moutinho.etc). It will be very difficult for Portugal to replace all these players and fill the vacuum. I have heard a lot about players such as Nuno Mendes and Gonçalo Ramos, but not sure whether they will be able to handle the pressure at top level. Anyway, for now let's wait and watch for their performance in Qatar 2022. Portugal is in a relatively easy group, along with Ghana, Uruguay and Korea. Qualifying for the next phase should be a cakewalk.

I think Ibrahimovic can afford to play at 40 and this means that maybe even Cristiano who says this will be his last World Cup can afford to play at least another Euro if not even another World Cup,that would not surprise me at all considering the physical form of Cristiano Ronaldo.

As for the winners I think it will be difficult to predict but I think Argentina deserve to win this having one of the most talented teams if we compare individual players of each team, this is just my opinion though.

Do you think that a younger team will lift the trophy this time? Last time(2018) France won the world cup, and they had a number of 30 plus players on their squad (Lloris, Giroud, Matuidi, Mandanda.etc). But I agree that some of the star players were in their late teens or early 20s (Kimpembe, Pogba, Mbappé, Dembélé.etc). Croatia (runners up) on the other hand had an older squad, with average age of around 30-31. And back in 2014 Germany won the final. Apart from Klose and Weidenfeller, none of the players were 30 plus.

Everyone thinks they have a good chance of making it to the next group. They fell into an easier group than other groups. I am very happy to see a star like Cristiano Ronaldo in this world cup. They will definitely fill the place of stars who have reached retirement age. For example, Joao Felix will be successful for the forward. Portugal's young players are generally very promising.

There is no doubt that João Félix is a promising player. But here, we are talking about Cristiano Ronaldo, whom I regard as the best football player in the world right now. Can Félix handle the pressure and fill Ronaldo's position in Portugal team? I am afraid that Portugal will go through a rough transition period after their key players such as Ronaldo retire. It is not easy to build a team from a bunch of inexperienced players. And there will be some turmoil, similar to what happened to Italy after their world cup winning members retired.

Portugal is one of my favourite team that I would love them to win the world cup, like you said I think that will be difficult because Ronaldo is only the main player that the team can put hope on, just like in Manchester United he his the only one carrying the team along. When it is like this it is impossible for team to win the cup.

I think it will be difficult for African countries to get champions in the world cup, as I know there is no star player who has ever succeeded in any football competition who comes from African countries.

I only support 3 countries, namely
1. Germany
2. Belgium
3. Brazil
Why did I choose these three countries, there are certain reasons behind my three choices, the first one we started from Germany, Germany was my choice from the first and until now I am still one of the toughest supporters, their tactics of playing are very good, the players- the players are also very extraordinary, this is my personal opinion.

In the second row I prefer Belgium, maybe I'm not the only one who chooses to be a supporter of this country, the tactics of playing Belgian players are very interesting and very good of course.

And the last country is Brazil, I'm not much of a supporter of it but it's just that they are a great country and have quality players, and this Brazil they have also become world champions for the umpteenth time.

Cristiano Ronaldo is 37 years old already, it's already a bit on the older side to be at his best, so I don't think he's going to push Portugal to the finals. I think this world cup will be a bit of a surprise, new, younger people will be able to show their talent. The weather in Qatar is also not amazing so people will have a hard time playing there. It's going to be a young team the one that wins this one.

The tournament is scheduled for November-December, and by then the weather should be more identical to European conditions. So I don't think that Asian or Latin American teams will have any advantage over the European ones. And now coming to Cristiano Ronaldo, this is going to be his last tournament and therefore he will try his best to win trophy for his country. But the issue is that quality of the team has gone down recently, and right now they are essentially a one man army led by Ronaldo. Many of their important players are in their late 30s, such as Pepe, José Fonte and    João Moutinho.

I hope that Belgium can win the world cup this year, with many star players in their team and almost have skills that are evenly distributed in all lines, it is not impossible for Belgium to become champions in 2022.

I certainly agree with this and I've also noticed the dedication of their star players this season. There are lots of teams who are this year's favorite but Belgium's performance is also something to look forward to. Portugal and Spain are also favorites but all of them to be honest, deserve a good win.
There is no country that we can take lightly in this year's world cup, because all countries have quality players, Portugal has a qualified squad, for Ronaldo and Messi this year's world cup is the last world cup for them, of course they will fight to get it. trophy in their last world cup, Brazil also had star players, so did England, and spain, but this year I will place a bet for the England team.
Also there are so many other factors involved as well in the sport. The most important of all is the luck. Hard work is important so is consistency so is luck. So we can not predict only on the bases of player - FIFA is too far - let's see how the tournament unfolds.
I predict Belgium will play an easy match in the group phase where in group F are inhabited by FIFA ranked countries far below Belgium such as Canada, Morocco and Croatia, and for the next phase Belgium will fight hard to win the World Cup Qatar 2022 because now they have the best players.

Sorry but the choices are laughable. I always see Brazil and Argentina as top eight favorites. So I dig a little. And I am not wrong.

Courtesy of www.vegasinsider.com. Here are the early odds top eight favorites.

I actually thought England becomes first but they're only second with France after Brazil. Portugal still made it top eight with their ageing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. I'm excited despite the fact that I changed plans not to travel to Qatar for this special event.

Brazil, Belgium and Portugal are my best bets. Brazil football team also known as Seleção Canarinho is desperate to win the world cup after twenty years of delusion. In terms of quality, young and experience players, no country can compete with them. Their ageing players such as Thiago Silva and Marcelo are filled with experience and strength while the younger once such as Real Madrid's  Rodrygo are top class. Also the Brazilian coach Adenor Leonardo Bacchi has wealth of experience both as a player and coach. Belgium is the nearest in class to Brazil and Portugal is my third bet.
I also think Brazil and Belgium are favourites for the World Cup. I also think that Spain or the Netherlands could also do well, or even be winners. Both teams have renewed their squads and now have young and promising players. It will be interesting to see how they perform this year. It's unfortunate that Italy didn't make it to the championships, although oddly enough they would have been favourites for sure.
