Croatia could repeat history by beating Argentina and return to the final as they did in 2018. Now they have many chances to repeat the same success. For some fans, Ronaldo is bigger than Portugal but in this World Cup Ronaldo's contribution to Portugal especially in winning was very low. Portugal had 40 minutes, doing nothing. The first half was simply not played football, it was like a training game with the Moroccans watching. Portugal's loss is far from Ronaldo's failure.  Ronaldo's fans are all in tears.  Because Ronaldo came out of the field crying alone after losing Purta Girl, his fans and the Portuguese were all in tears.  Ronaldo himself cannot accept this loss of Ronaldo because if he had entered the field from the beginning of the game, Portugal would have had a greater chance of winning.

I also think, that Argentina is not the strongest team of the remaining for nations that are still in this world cup. For me France is the big favorite. As you already said, Croatia is a very strong team too. They have a lot of quality in their squad and they also play with a lot of passion and conviction. Their greatest strength in my opinion, however, is that they are very good at defending and even if the opponent is making massive pressure towards their goal then the croatians still remain calm and are always defending well.
If Argentina wants to go through tonight, then they will need more than just Messi. They will need a good team performance.

However the Qatar 2022 World Cup was not for Ronaldo where he was seen benched in the last 2 matches by his coach.
