~snip~Many people assume they win because of luck. But I think it is a subjective assumption.
Morocco defeated Belgium in the group stage, defeated Spain in the round of 16, and they defeated Portugal in the quarter-finals. We can say they are just lucky to win in 1 match. But winning in 3 matches from big teams, can't be said a luck factor. Morocco wins because they can play solidly as a team and they have a strong mentality.
Yep, Morocco has done their best efforts, they reached the semifinals because of their hard work. I really expect that this team can reach the final round, so there will be another surprise in this world cup tournament. However, in theory, they are almost impossible to win against France. France is the defending champion and they have a too strong squad.
Absolutely right.
It was not luck, but hard work and great strategy for Morocco. I guess the big teams just assumed Morocco would be an easy win, and then got a surprise defeat.
Cristiano Ronaldo was absolutely shocked when they scored and when Portugal lost. He couldn't believe it.
So I think France has to take them seriously, otherwise Morocco will continue to destroy superstars...
Well here this is nothing more than the very good work of its technical director, the team has the best players from their country who are all over Europe playing, and they were not selfish or had any scruples, they called them and brought them to play for them, these things are what make a team the best, that's why all the teams that have won have done very well, and it's not luck, they took out teams that possibly many thought were going to go to the final, and you just have to give credit to their coach and players, personally I would like them to reach the final, and that they play with Argentina, because it would be epic.
Morocco captain Romain Saiss desperate to be fit for history-making World Cup semi-finalMoroccan captain Romain Saiss says he will “give everything” to be fit to help his history-making side continue their incredible World Cup dream, but insisted he will not put his side’s chances of reaching the final at risk.
The defender, 32, was stretchered off 57 minutes into Morocco’s quarter-final victory against Portugal on Saturday, as his side triumphed 1-0 to become the first African country, and first Arab nation, to make the last four of a global finals. They face world champions France at Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday.
