Australia women's team was one of the favorites going into the tournament but unfortunately they lost against England which did not fulfill their dreams of reaching the final. I would like to put Australia slightly ahead of Sweden for third place as they missed out on the finals so third place is very important to them. I have been impressed by Australia's defensive performance in this tournament, they protect their defense and then attack the opposition's attack which is a very positive aspect for them. The positive side for Sweden is that they have a good counter attack which can give them a lead at any time. Considering these two aspects, both teams are strong in both aspects, so the third place can be decided by any team.

Big opportunities probably won't really affect the match for third place later because there are many influencing factors, Sweden has better achievements than Australia where if Australia manages to become third place it will be the best achievement they have ever achieved in women's football while Sweden already has several achievements. they even got to the final of the women's world cup only to lose to Germany in extra time.
Australia will also be more motivated because they are playing in front of their own public and as hosts it would be nice if they could get third place even if not a title.
It is possible that Sweden will field some of their reserve players because indeed the third place match is not as prestigious as the contest for the title.

If Sweden can display what they displayed that made Spain to manage to defeated them in this match, I think they will win third position in this FIFA women's world cup to make their country happy.  The game between Sweden vs Australia was suppose to be the finals for me but having both teams going head to head for the third place just got me mute, I couldn't say which team is going to win but I wish both teams good luck. If there's a way for both teams to win in this encounter I would be glad but football doesn't work that way .
 Sweden style of play really match the Australia style of play, so I'd say both teams are going to get on each others 18 yard box more and taking chances, this might even end up in a penalty shootout the way I see it.

I find both games interesting. Sweden vs Australia might end in an unexpected result since Sweden look favourite, its odds are quite better but the game is in Australia after all which might give a push to the Aussie national team.

Sweden is favorite for the third place Holder,they have been outstanding in this Tournament regardless their hard luck in the competition. Third place will better for them. But Spain will definitely win England for the title on Sunday.

Yes, I think Sweden is a stronger team than Australia, if the Swedish women can put up with the way they played against Spain, they will definitely take the third position. I also noticed that Sweden has a higher winning percentage than Australia and that the betting Odds rates on various casino platforms are lower for Sweden and higher for Australia. It's about damn time they do! They have a very decent team and have their team playing at the highest of stands in Europe too, then why the hell not ? It would be a deserving for which team wins it, but if there is any team I felt really sorry for and I think they deserve to have reached at least the semi finals would be the Japanese team, they were my team of the tournament, they just got really unlucky imo.

In football we can only make some predictions by looking at previous game performance.  Both Australia and Sweden women's teams have performed very well.  And that's why they managed to fight for the 3rd position. Their odds are also close.  It is very difficult to predict which team will win between these two teams.
