Totally, the feeling of frustration for the Swedes must have been horrible, in a few minutes they thought they could take the game again to extra time where they had already qualified and in a very short time it all ends with Spain's goal.

Both teams deserve to be in the final, so I think I might not even bet and just watch
England do look a bit stronger than Australia, but as Australia are playing at home, it might help their willpower a lot

The three goals that were scored in the match between Spain(2) and Sweden(1) occurred between 81 and 90 minutes of play, which is highly unexpected. Don't be too quick to write Australia off. They're a worthy opponent against England and are good enough to pull off a major upset tomorrow and go into the finals. As someone who has watched both Australia and England matches in this Fifa WWC, I can say for sure whichever team wins, it won't be easy for them. Australia has a solid attack, midfield and defense? I can't forget to mention Australia's Arnold who has been rock solid for their team so far. France tried everything possible to score but she didn't let anything get pass her. If she and other members of the Australian defense put up a performance like tjat, it won't be easy for England. As a matter of fact, they might get knocked out.

OK, maybe whole Spain - Sweden game wasn't most exciting thing I saw, but last 10 minutes were so hot. Sweden managed to respond Spain goal quickly enough and I was already 99% sure that we will see extra time. But then Carmona Garcia scored such beautiful goal that Sweden goalkeeper had not much chance to save. That's specifics of woomen football - in men football such balls is getting saved just because that men goalkeeper is higher.

I wouldn't be so confident. I wouldn't even call England as favorites. Australia already eliminated one elite team France, plus it's obvious that home crowd is giving them huge boost.

It's wonderful to see Spain secure the victory by taking advantage of good fortune. Despite Sweden's lack of luck, Spain's domination and its efforts were noteworthy. The Swedish women played admirably, as evidenced by their overall performance, but luck was not on their side. You're anticipating an Australia-Spain game now that Sweden is out. Although competing against England's women would be challenging, a lucky change of events could go in their opponent's favour.

The tournament is near the end, I want Australia to be the winner. Another is outside Europe and Latin America. But in any case, the Next Winner will be the first in its history (USA,Norway, Japan, Germany were the other ones). But I guess Spain has better chances than Australia and England

World Cup to Oceania!!

Way too early to tell who is going to lift the trophy. It doesn't matter which team makes it into the final, but I think that both England and Australia would mean an incredibly hard fight for Spain to win the tournament eventually.

If England makes it, everybody knows how strong they are and nothing needs to be said about them. If Australia makes it, I think it is always a blast when a hosting country makes it into the final and gets all the support from the people in the country and in front of the TVs. Spain didn't beat Sweden 5-0, it was a 2-1 and that shows that the final won't be any easier.

The Spain women's team has already confirmed the ticket to the final match of the Women's World Cup by defeating Sweden. Spain now await their opponents which could be either Australia Women or England Women. Initially, England Women's team is being favored against Australia but considering the performance of this tournament, there is no chance to favor any of these two teams as these two teams have performed well from the group stage and reached the semi-finals. Spain is waiting to see who will be their opponent in the final match and Sweden is waiting to see who will be their opponent as the number three team. The second semi-final match between Australia Women's team and England Women's team will be held tomorrow. Considering the performance of the two teams, I am not putting any team forward for the semi-final match because in terms of strength, the performance of the two teams is almost equal in this tournament, but this much I can say that a very competitive match is going to be held between the two teams tomorrow.

Sweden had no chance against spain, they already have a pattern of getting eliminated at the semi finals so its expected of them to get knockout. Spain dominating the match shows how determined they're to winning the tournament this period but they'll be having a tough competition if England gets through. All goals coming in the last 10 minutes of the game shows how tough the game was even if Spain was dominating still they couldn't penetrate until the 81st minutes and lucky for them they got a last minute winner. I didn't bother watching the game because I thought it would had been a work over for spain but seems I missed alot judging from the feedback I'm seeing on twitter. I'll catch all the experience on the highlights as I usually do later tonight.


My bet is on England to advance following Spain advancing to the finals, Australia is benefiting from been co host as that's giving them motivation to continue fighting. They are one of the surprises for me in this tournament so far, I didn't expect them to advance this far after losing to my county Nigeria (2-3) in the group stages. England had been in this situation more than ones and they bottled it but hopefully they'll get the win tomorrow when the play the co host. Although they eliminated my country still they have my support. They recently lost to Australia and I think that's the only lost so far under Sarina Wiegman but they'll seeking for revenge and this might play in their favor this time and they advance to the finals.

In my view Sweden didn't play badly they were just a team with luck not on their side, getting to semi-final isn't for the weak and for Sweden to have gotten to that stage it's shows how good a team they are. Two good teams played and one was just lucky enough to get the win at the end of 90mins, congrats to Spain as I see them lifting the 2023 wwc trophy.

As for tomorrow's game between England and Australia that's going to be a tough game with two strong side consisting of creative players. England haven't lost any game since the tournament while Australia has only lost one game to Nigeria side that draw with England. So I can't say for sure who's going to win the game tomorrow so I won't be rooting for any one of the two but if am to pick my favourite I'll be rooting for  Australia women.

In today's match of Sweden vs Spain, there was a fierce fight between the two teams and at the end of the game, Spain won 2-1. In today's match, Spain fought well until the last minute and confirmed from the semi-finals to the final by defeating the Swedish women's team. The game was so tense during the first half that neither team was able to score, both teams tried hard enough but failed to convert the effort. But when Spain scored a goal in the second half, the Swedish women's team equalized shortly after. But later on Spain women's team scored another goal and took their team ahead and then did not give any chance to Sweden to score as a result of which they lost today's match. The Sweden women's team played well enough but unfortunately they were eliminated from the semi-finals losing to Spain and Spain were confirmed in the final.

The Swedish women's team did not see a goal in the first half and did not attack much. But after halftime the game was very competitive in the second half as the Spanish team came to the last stage of the game and saw only one goal. And the Swedish women's team attacked very hard but had no success and leveled the game just moments before the main period when Swedish women's player Rebecka Blomqvist equalized. But unfortunately the players of the Spain women's team found a goal in the middle of the attack with the ball and the Spain team lead 2-1. Sweden lost to the fate of the team and crashed out of the final.

Finally the day favoured Spain o win the game. Spain really dominate the match but Sweden women also played and their attempt for goals were recommendable. If you look at the way the game went, one can see that Sweden women were not bad but luck was not found on them. We have the same mindset on this final game. I want Australia to play wit Spain since Sweden has gone out the quarter final. And England women will be very difficult to win but if luck on their side that day then their opponent will win them.

Spain national team players made a good job kicking Sweden from the World Cup and moving to the final game.
The match wasn't that easy, the 3 goals were scored in less than 10 minutes by the end of the game making Sweden hopeless to get another dead.
I expect England too to win vs Australia tomorrow since they are better although Austrian aren't that bad either

Sweden coach made a mistake by letting the Spanish girls play. When you're physically stronger than your opponent, your playing strategy should match that and win it. But this is women's soccer, and honestly, it's quite thrilling. The final 10 minutes were intense, but Spain's hard-fought victory well-deserved. Actually top scorer of the tournament truly earned their spot in the first-ever final. Congratulations to Spain for making it.

Same. I'll be rooting for England in tomorrow's game, hoping for a Spain vs. England final showdown.

Yes, it was a surprise result for me too, but Spain was lucky and went through. I am saying that Spain was lucky because all the three goals in the match were scored in the last 10 mins of normal time. First Spain took the lead in the 81 min and then it was equalized in the 88th min by Sweden. Spain quickly got another goal in the next min, the 89th min of the game and from there Sweden needed a miracle to come back.

A heart breaking ending for the Swedish team.

I'm glad I didn't make any predictions for the semi final and that I didn't actually place any bet  , because I was going to pick Sweden to qualify, without a doubt.

I didn't believe that Spain could beat Sweden, especially after Sweden passed USA and Colombia in the difficult way they did, usually teams get stronger during the competition when they have these difficulties
Amazing how in less than 5 minutes the situation changed. The lack of focus of a team that is winning was remarkable, as well as the determination of Spain not to give up
For those who thought that women's soccer was not exciting, it was very nice to see a game like this in the middle of a World Cup semi-final.

It looks like it will be Spain v England in the final

They make it to their first world cup finals in the history of women football in their country. It was a close call because they almost lost the advantage that their substitute who came in and scored the first goal gave them when Sweden was able to equalize. It was nervy and both teams needed to keep their cool in the few minutes left of the game, Spain found a way to score another goal and Sweden could not double up. Spain in the finals and Sweden will play for third place. England will try to join Spain in the finals, I am sure they will be able to cope with the home supporters who will be chanting support for Australia, but they can win Australia, they have played tough teams in this competition.

I thought it would go to penalties because the quality of the game between the two teams was the same and for a long time neither team could score or take the ball into the penalty area. But the last 10 minutes of the game they saw a great game and the fact that 3 goals were completed in just 10 minutes is very surprising. How did it happen? Lol. Such a game is not often seen.  This moment is very exciting especially when something like this happens in a women's game

Spain women's team's final is confirmed in today's match. After Spain Women's team put in a lot of effort, Sweden Women's team played a competitive match between the two teams today. I have never seen Sweden play as competitive a game as today's match. I saw Sweden team defenders working hard but midfield players not working so hard. The Swedish team had plenty of opportunities to repay the goal but wasted many chances. The corner kicks could not be handled properly and some mistakes by the Sweden women's team forced them out of the final match.
