So, now after almost month of competition we reached semifinals. And we starting with Sweden - Spain. I think it's pointless to look for favorite there. Both is high quality teams, what we already saw in previous rounds. Bookmakers giving some advantage to Spain, but you can't understimate Sweden - team that kicked out USA. They weren't favorites against Japan too.
I would prefer to see Spain in the final. It would be interesting to see what odds for this game you guys have.

Gamblers are constantly looking for a variety of sports to bet on.  And in this case they also bet on the Women's FIFA World Cup. Women's World Cup has become very popular now and apart from gamblers betting on it, football lovers also enjoy it a lot. Spain and Sweden will play in the semi-finals.  Between these two teams here, Spain is the most likely team to play in the final.  This semi-final game will be held tomorrow so many people are very excited for it.  And I think you can see the excitement in the galleries filling the stadium as well

This is really what is happening I think. Tournaments like the Women's World Cup are by no means these events people watch to fight their own boredom. It has become a really exciting event over the last couple of years and I think they deserve it. I am not saying this because of equality considerations, although that would be a good reason, too, but because they are playing good soccer. I have seen a couple of games myself and in terms of accuracy and technique, it is quite commendable. Of course the speed is lower, but there are also facets that I like in women's soccer more than in men's soccer. Like this exaggerated acting after getting fouled, it sometimes pisses me off when men play. Women do that none to less although I figured it also has become a little more of that recently.

I guess women's football is two to three decades behind the men's variety. Back in the 1990s, we used to have such one-sided matches in men's football as well. But now the gap between the top teams and the tier-2 teams have narrowed down. Same will happen with the women's game, but it is going to take some time and a lot of investment from the FIFA. I agree that we will not witness an equivalent of Morocco reaching the semi-finals within the next decade in women's football. Because the women's game is confined to a handful of countries as of now.

I think it is aimed at countries that have money to invest.
Contrary to what happens in men's football, where good players emerge with almost no investment, in women's football a strong investment is needed to attract people to this sport. Perhaps African countries will be in the worst position in this field, both for cultural and economic reasons.
But things are looking up, and in 10-20 years, it will be an equally popular sport.
The women's football is gradually becoming popular and  in less than 10 years there would be a lot of investment in it like that of the mens, because i noticed that the number of people that are beginning to pick interest in viewing the competition increased better than the previous times and gradually it would begin to attract investors in the near future.
I think FIFA is really trying in making the women's football gain populariry and lots more fun to watch and the competition is becoming stronger stronger countries like Brazil, Germany and frabce are out of the league already and England that would be playing Australia the day after tomorrow to qualify for the finals almost got kicked out by the Super Eagles.

Currently the World Cup has entered the semi-finals, and tomorrow the first semi-final match will take place between Spain vs Sweden, even though Spain is the favorite to win this tournament and Sweden is only fourth as the favorite for the championship but Sweden cannot underestimate their step up to the semifinals it's quite surprising because it managed to get rid of other favorite teams like the United States and Japan, and this will be a very balanced match, and Sweden who appeared very aggressive when beating Japan will probably be a problem for Spain, but I think this will be a match that must be determined by penalty shootout.

Maybe many people think that this tournament is not interesting, compared to the matches in the men's section of course there is a difference in the quality of the matches, but several matches in this tournament show that there are many changes in women's football, and it must be remembered that women's football adopts the same things in rules such as the duration of the game including extra time so they play for the same length of time as men so there is a bright prospect that women's football will be interesting to follow in the future, because of course in training and fitness preparation they do the same thing so they can last a very long game.
Judging by the teams that have qualified for the FIFA Women's World Cup tournament, I think we might have a new winner of the competition. Spain and England looks like the teams that'll make it to the final of the this edition.
The Australian women's team who would play their semi final game against their England counterparts I think might pull the a big surprise if not carefully tacked by English women. Sweden on their other side isn't also a team to write off making the semi final matches a tough one for the four teams involved.

The four teams that are now engaged in the semi-final match have confirmed their place in the semi-final match after defeating their opponents in a tough manner. In that case, they are now expected to fight even harder to reach the finals. Between Spain and Sweden, although most people are picking Spain to go to the final, but if Spain does not perform well against Sweden, Spain will never be able to compete with Sweden. However, as both the teams will attack well to enter the final from the semi-finals, it will be difficult to predict which team will secure a place in the final.
Between these two teams, Australia and England, however, the England women's team can play well, which gives England hope of making it to the finals. But if England take their semi-final match against Australia lightly then surely Australia can beat England. The way Australia beat France in their last match was truly remarkable as they won the match brilliantly on penalties to secure the semi-finals. Although Australia vs England is the most likely England to win, it is hard to say how realistic this will be. Although many have predicted that the final match will be between England Women and Spain Women, it is still not certain which two teams will play the final match.
Well yours and their are not too bad. In sport everyone predict what they know that will happen to the opponent term. And Football predictions in time come with luck and not fact. And in football again, weak nations teams became strong to beat strong football teams in world cup tournaments so we can't say Spain will beat Sweden team although it is just a prediction at the moment. Sweden team is also good as Spain team and that will be a tough match on that day. If they play penalty at the end of the game then Sweden will win the match but if Spain score before the 90 minutes elapse then their luck will take them to the finale.
For Australia vs England. This will be a tight match. Australia was beaten by the Nigerian team and England beat Nigerian team on the penalty shootout but faced serious attacked by Nigerian team. Australia and England are both strong teams but I am supporting Australia team to go to the final with Sweden.

Among the four teams on the semifinals, Spain and England were the strongest. Australia and Sweden were good, they're teams that give unexpected results and unpredicted performance. We can't state those to be lucky wins or something similar. Sweden won against USA and Australia defeated France, both happened in the penalty shootout. To keep the match without goal till the last isn't a simple thing. Based on which we can't take them to be an easier team. There will be competence and every team will follow the defensive approach than targeting goals.

Most of the people are supporting France which is kinda obvious but if Australia somehow wins then it will be a pretty good reward for them.
The odds are better on Stake when compared to freebitco.in. I usually bet on freebitco.in but it seems that I might have to reconsider it.
I always find the stake odds much better than the other betting sites and also you will find a larger variety of games to bet on Stake.com as compared to freebitco or other sites. Stake has full-fledged sports section which can be found here https://stake.com/sports/home

Coming to the match, it is a draw at full time 90 minutes, Both Australian and the France women's team are unable to score any goal and it is right now tied at 0-0.
We are going into the extra time and if the score still remains level, plenty kicks will decide the fate of this quarterfinal match.
I think here you need to understand few things www.stake.com is full gambling and sporting betting side and www.freebitco.in is a "faucet" which is supporting few sporting events as well, but mostly odds are by their own system which are mostly not comparable to any sports betting side because here volume of bets and wagering is also very less so just because of this we never have ideal odds from this site.

I was betting in few events but due to very few options and odds different now I already quit this and switching to other sites which are much better and having enough options as well for the betting.

This was expecting to be ended on penalties or extra time because both teams were doing their best in throughout this event with Australia were having home advantage, but performance was excellent from both side and at the end France were unlucky as their 10th penalty was wasted and allow Australia for the spot into last four.

The odds are not decided by freebitco.in or their own system but they have a Parimutuel betting system.
It basically consists of a pool and the number of players and volume of bets decides the odds.
But yeah, Stake is a full-fledged sportsbook which offers numerous games and betting options.
So there is no comparison between them.

I agree this world cup has been uninteresting overall.  There has been no consistency overall which I guess is a little inviting in that ypu have no idea how the outcome will go down.  I wonder if you take all the underdogs and the odds they've been giving if you would end up, up or down while betting them.  Seems like betting the underdogs would have been the play this tourny.

In terms of quality, absolutely. There's a massive difference between the men and women's tournaments.

But there's definitely something going on, in the sense that there is a lot of money pouring in to make the women's world cup a thing. Lots of media coverage, pushing it a lot, etc.

I think someone at some level wants to make this tournament more profitable.

But I'm not really sure it will work. Maybe, but the quality is just not there.

Still, I've watched a few games, and they have maybe a couple of plays that were slightly interesting in each of them. The overall pace and quality though is quite low. I think the most entertaining part of this world cup is that people just want to have a good time while watching the matches.

Both 1/4 final games today were really exciting. Maybe Australia - France wasn't most beautiful, 120 minutes without goals, but penalty shootout was amazing. I preferred to see France going to semifinal, but after all, happy for Australia and all people who support them.
Colombia joyrney ended today. They were underdogs and achieved more than anyone expected. And even today, they gave good fight for England. It's bad for them that they didn't managed to keep lead for a bit longer, that would give more pressure for England.
I didn't think I will see France kicked out of the World Cup by Australia honestly. After all the journey ended with penalties at least so we can blame them less. Now Australia have to face England next and try to play the same scenario with them maybe? I don't think England will let them go to extra time and penalties.
Spain - Sweden will be interesting in my opinion with a slight advantage for the Spanish team.
Since the premier league season began, I've not really given much attention to the ongoing women's world cup, possibly because it is women playing and women's play can never be as interesting as when men play  Grin.
I saw the news of Australian women beating France and I was quite surprised, though I later learned that it was through penalties, A friend of mine who actually is in love with women's football to me the match was a very tough and interesting one to watch,  and to be honest, i had the opportunity of watching that match but just didn't think or thought it will be interesting enough.
Anyways, congratulations to the Australian women, and hope they are able to face and beat England, but i honestly think that will be very hard, except they take England to penalties again, then maybe they will stand a chance, just like with France .

And talking about Spain and Sweden, i think the winner of that match is clear enough for all to see, except football decides to give us another surprise, then that could be understood, but outside surprises, i dont think Sweden have much chance of beating Spain, well, its women's football anyway, anything can happen.

I watch this match more often because the schedule is different from other popular Leagues, indeed the game is less interesting when compared to other competitions but when you watch a strong team in the quarter-finals to the semi-finals, of course the enthusiasm is higher. I am also monitoring this Tournament as I am participating in a prediction competition so I have to analyze to determine the next prediction.

By the way, Sweden must be watched out because they have destroyed several strong teams such as UAS and Japan as we know these 2 teams are the favorite teams but the fact is Sweden got rid of them.
Well, you probably have you reason for seeing or confirming that UAS and Japan are favorite teams, I don't know but to me, I don't see any of this two teams as strong enough to beat Sweden in the first place, so its absolutely no surprise to me that Sweden destroyed this two terms, in-fact, I would have been more surprised if any of this team by some reason or some how beat Sweden, so the outcome of the match between this two teams you mentioned, against Sweden can not be compared to the coming match between Spain and Sweden..

Yeah, of course this is not to underestimate Sweden though, personally, i believe they got the potentials, they got the strength and if given the opportunity, they sure will beat Spain, But then, We all know that Spain is a football playing nation, the chances that they will Sweden beat them in the coming match is very slim, if at all there is a chance, Anyways, this is nothing but my prediction, I don't expect any gambler to take any of what I've said serious and possibly make it a deciding factor in placing bets, I am just speculating, lets wait for the match and see what the outcome would be.

I never imagined the match between Australia Women's team and France Women's team would be so competitive. Before the start of the match I thought the result of the match will be decided in 90 minutes but Australia proved me completely wrong, if the result of this match is not decided in 90 minutes then the playing time is extended by 30 minutes. Total 120 minutes were played but in the end neither team was able to score a goal against the other team due to which penalty shot was decided to finally decide the result of this match. France women's team failed to win against Australia on penalties. France women's team lost 7-6 to Australia in this quarter-final match. By winning this match, Australia women's team confirmed the semifinals. Both teams have a lot to offer us such a competitive match.
Football can be quite insane at times. Who could have predicted such a thrilling match between the Australian and French women's teams? But this is what I found to be really bizarre. After saving three penalties from the French, the Australian goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold thought, "Why not try shooting one myself?" only to forget it! That decision is beyond my comprehension. Talk about unlucky, little Vicki Becho scored the winning penalty but struck the post. Ouch! There's more, though: Australia's triumph was preserved by the winger Cortnee Vine. Why was a winger instead of a forward taking such an important penalty? What's with that tactic, anyway? Sam Kerr, who is currently being treated for a calf ailment, also managed to make an appearance. Why risk her?

Spain Vs Sweden

England Vs Australia

I think these two teams will play in the final.
Spain Vs England What can be confirmed in the final match?
Do you think these two teams can go to the finals?
Spain vs Sweden match is very likely for Spain to win but England vs Australia anything can happen. In the semi-final between Australia and France, Australia proved how strong they are and are no less than other teams to win the World Cup. England and Australia have performed brilliantly from the group stages to reach the semi-finals, so neither team will let the other team down easily when it comes to the semi-finals. As you predicted that the final match will be between Spain and England, I would like to make some changes to your prediction, after Australia's performance against France, it seems that we might see Australia vs Spain in the final match. Considering only the performance of the quarter finals, I made such a prediction, let's see what happens in the field game.

Well, these will be extremely competitive games!
I have no doubt that Spain and Australia will do everything to win these games, because they have never reached a world cup semi-finals.

But on the other hand, we have other experienced teams, England, which was in 3rd place in the 2015 World Cup and Sweden, which was runner-up in the 2003 World Cup.

The match between Spain and Sweden, I believe it will be very competitive, I had in my mind that Spain could reach the final, but after some analysis, I think that Sweden will overcome the Spanish team.

Regarding the game between England x Australia, I imagine that the England team's experience will predominate and they will be able to beat Australia.

Even though bookmakers had France as the favorites, I also secretly believed the Mathildas of Australia could surprise them. They met France touch for touch and if not for the always timely intervention of Renard, I think Kerr would have found the net severally.
I commend the confidence of the Australian side because even when their previous games before now haven't been stunning, they managed to stand up to a powerful and dominant side like France and at the end they were the winners.
Frankly speaking, I'd love for there to be new faces in this tournament and in the game between England and Colombia, I wish to see the Colombian side winning because in last tournaments we've been used to seeing the likes of England, Spain and France so new faces would be refreshing this time around. Kudos to the Mathildas once again.

I think that in general it is not uncommon that hosting countries are stronger than they usually would be. The whole atmosphere in the home country and the enthusiasm can fuel new performance levels and I think this is what happened with Australia so far. Once they have now beaten France, who says that they can't win it? From now on everything is possible for them and for the sport women soccer it is great to see a hosting nation make it so far because that also will give a boost to the overall popularity within the country. It is a great and well-deserved success so far.
