Hmm I was reading a Spanish feed it said Netherlands were using drugs
Guess we will see but don't know if its a rumor or not

Sure it's a rumour. Mostly the Netherlands and especially Amsterdam is said together with "drugs" in one sentence, doesn't it?  I'm not really up to date about drugstests at the World Cup, but I think they might occur.

Those drugs rumours appear all the time at important tournaments. I saw these messages at Facebook too earlier, but they were definately fake for sure.

Yep I edited the previous right after but you saw it first

Nowadays I'm really hoping for a Brazil-Argentina final. I think that would be an epic South American battle for an epic South American WC.  It'll give Messi the chance to prove that he's on par with Maradona.  We'll know in just a little time!!

Like many, I called for a Brazil vs Argentina final, I thought that it would be inevitable given the history of World Cups held in the Americas. However neither of the two remaining South American teams have been that convincing, and with Brazil missing Neymar and Silva, they really need others to step up their game to help them through.

I would love an all-European final, that would be history in the making, particularly if the Netherlands won - that would surely heal the wounds of South Africa 2010 and would be a great send off for Van Gaal before he starts the season with Man United Cheesy

Yes would like to see Brazil-Argentina then Argentina to win!

Messi hasn't done anything spectacular in the game against Belgium in 1/4th

I've got a couple of free £5 bets so I might put them on Germany to win just so I'm covered whatever happens. Tempted to put both semi games as draws or to go into extra time/penalties. I'll see what deals/odds they come up with.

If you like a team, bet on the other so you are happy either way Wink
If you like one team a little bit more than the other you bet a little bit on the other team but if you love one team you bet huge on the other team

So after all the upsets and surprise progression in the tournament for the smaller teams we are left with what many would have expected in the last four for the semi-finals.

Brazil have been very average throughout the tournament but have got results, sometimes with a little help from the referee. The remaining fixtures are tantalising, all four of the remaining games will be clashes of massive teams.

Interesting move by Van Haal last night bringing on the taller Tim Krul for penalties.

Netherland didn't had ther best game against Costa Rica too. Thei might have won the previus champions with a humiliating 5-0 but had to go all the way to the penalty shots to win a team like costa rica. Costa Rica almost lost to reece! At this point eI feel like there is no safe prediction.

Yeah the Netherlands - Spain game was 5-1, but same point stands.

It is really unpredictable, I think that teams give it their all, some are perhaps a little more mindful of the next game than others.

The Dutch created some great chances last night but could not convert them at all, the Costa Rican defence was going all in and had a bit of luck on their side too.

Sometimes the scoreline doesn't always reflect the game, however Costa Rica can be proud that they held out. Was a smart move bringing on Krul it would seem.

Argentina is a famous team but... When they win the las tournament?
Germany and netherlands are good team since few years algo
And brazil won the last cup

Spain won the last cup.

I think the Netherlands were way better in the history. Yes, today, it appears that we've got a great time now.

Germany and netherlands are good team since few years algo
And brazil won the last cup
argentina - 1986 (maradona era)
germany - 1990 (matthaeus era)
Brazil - 2002 (Ronaldo era)
Holland - Never won WC before
so i prefer holland to win this WC edition Grin

Holland - 2014 (Robben era) Grin

I would love to Smiley. No one expected this success so far before, but we're not there yet. Argentina is going to be a tough one I guess.. Especially Messi.

I am not quite sure about it. Brazil without Neymar is not much stronger than a German side which includes Mueller and Schweinstager. IMO, Germany might win the Semis against Brazil, if there is no extra-time or penalty shootouts.

England game was pretty dull. Wish I'd've watched the Uruguay game now. It's going to be a joke is Suarez doesn't get banned for the rest of the tournament. I'm hoping whatever team gets through gets knocked out by Brazil in the next round though. Really need Brazil Germany Holland and Argentina in the semis for my bet to come good  Grin.

Woop. Won £225 on this. Just need Brazil and Argentina to get into the final now. Even better if Argentina win it. I get my money back on some bets if Brazil win though. The only team I don't have money on in some form to win at the moment is Germany. I honestly couldn't pick the finalists or the winner right now. They all seem pretty evenly matched.

My bets are on Brazil and Argentina; Brazil needs to get into the finals and Argentina to win the cup and will have get some BTC

It wouldn't be a surprise for any of the 4 teams left to win it, it is very evenly matched indeed, to know who you think/want to win it comes down to who you like, emotion and what you are focusing on : team play, neymar not here, defense ect.

I say Argentina and Germany in the Finals.
i think we will play versus the dutch

Argentina won by scoring early and keeping a hard defense
Netherlands are very offensive and had a lot more almost-in goal shots yesterday, but very bad luck, always hit the pole or something
