that's ecuador which was still above qater in term of quality from the players. So many people were picking qatar caused by it was playing at home but it means nothing as the qualify of players have proven if ecuador was making qater just like nothing.
2-0 is good enough for ecuador as an opening match. that proves that it doesn't even matter where you are playing as long as you have a good squad and you can win easily against another team.
Qater lose point. This trend may continue for the next match.

In any case for Qatar even if they host this event it is still difficult.
I personally predicted from the start that Ecuador and the Netherlands would be in this group and put Qatar in 4th place, so this seemed natural to me, especially since the 3 opponents Qatar faced were quite clearly above their level.

But at last Ecuador got full points in this match, in group A only Netherlands was the biggest challenge pass to play off, I think Senegal without Sadio Mane might not have good play in every match.

Mane's absence at the world cup this time is very unfortunate and of course this also makes Senegal's chances decrease a little, especially in this case Mane is one of the mainstay players.
But still for this it's not just Mane because even though Mane is great, this is indeed a team game.
I think Senegal will still be troublesome at least for the fight for second place in the group phase because with this for first place I'm pretty sure about the Netherlands.

Sadio Mane might not be on that team, but Senegal has talented players who can advance the team to the next round even without him. Perhaps you undervalued Senegal so much in this World Cup. Netherland would be a worthy opponent and their encounter with them might be challenging for them to win. But other than Netherlands, I don't think any of the other nations in that group can stand up to Senegal. I hope by this point they have adjusted to not playing without Sadio Mane, even though his absence won't give them more confidence.

Now with this win most chances they could be good to go in next round because Senegal after exit of Sadio Mané is not going to be tough like they were here lack of practice and better skills surely hurt Qatari team they need more practice if they want to keep at better place for the future specially need to work on domestic system and having good practice sessions are also valuable for them.

Ecuador won by 2-0 goal against Qatar. Qatar was some pressure i Think they didn’t play their nature game.Qatar goal keeper performance were very poor. He didn’t do his best job.Ecuador played very well this world cup in opening match.I hope Qatar will be back their win site in next match.
