I do not agree that Portugal has been in crisis; no not at all. Yes they struggled during the qualifying stages for the worldcup but you cannot compare that form to now. Why? Now Portugal is going to the worldcup with a complete 11 in view (compared to qualifiers where they chop and change tactics and players as related to available players due to either fatigue form or injuries).

In my opinion, portugal have a very solid defense; if they can take their chances, they will have a good run in the worldcup. Same with Argentina, france and the Netherlands

The two living legends of today are Messi and Ronaldo. But they still can't touch the World Cup. However, the brutal truth is that the Portugal team is not strong enough. They are more dependent on Ronaldo's performance. So, if Ronaldo continues to perform well, Portugal will do well in this World Cup.

Sixteen years of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi ruling and running the world of football, they both are motivated to finally end it with a touch of the Fifa World Cup. They will be missed. Both Argentina and Portugal are very much interested in the World Cup.

i think both players can last in one more at least world cup. Ronaldo probobly wants to play until he is 43 or even older for sure knowing he wants to set those records at highest possible. Also Messi plays so easily that i think he can go over 40 for sure with how good he plays so might be the last world cup but i think there is still room for one more world cup

No big Club will regret not signing Ronaldo, there is nothing new, there is nothing again that Ronaldo will offer than what he has already offered to the world of football. There is no doubt that Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers of all-time but he will not remain greatest forever that is the truth.

Netherlands: their performance at the Euros yesterday was pretty good even though it was anti-climax, at least with the current squad they can at least be a capital to advance to the knockout stages.

Senegal: An African team that is again ferocious and in a golden generation period. African champions are proof that they control Africa.

Qatar: Qatar's preparations are really ready. Until successful Asian champion.
But their experience and mentality in the world arena has not been very convincing.

Ecuador: A country that regularly participates in the world cup. Potential to surprise opponents.

Just a prediction and opinion from me who loves football.

I'm pretty sure that he won't be ready for the first game. But since the first game is against Netherlands, maybe they will prepare him for the games against Qatar and Ecuador because they probably have better chance to beat those two teams than Netherlands.

I think the match between Qatar and Ecuador will be very competitive. Hosts Qatar will be playing at their home ground and will be participating in the opening game, which may give them a slight advantage. But Ecuador is a great team, they have more than enough ability to beat Qatar.
