This is true, when a player is young, his body works in one way, but after 30 years of age his metabolism changes completely, which is why Neymar has been suffering from injuries in recent years, he stopped being an athlete and became a celebrity, injuries and low performance were the price paid for the choices he made... It's a shame, because he is the last of the great Brazilian players, all the others who came after him are just good players, nothing more.

Professional football is so demanding and almost everyone, at some point in their career go through injury issues. But I haven't seen anyone as injury prone as Neymar. Every 6 months or so, he picks up a new injury, and that makes it impossible for any of the clubs to employ him. In fact, this has resulted in chaos within the Brazilian national team during the CONMEBOL qualifiers. The team was not stable as a result of injuries to Neymar and some of the other players, and as a result they are now at the 5th position in the points table.

Yes, this is indeed an old disease of Brazilian players. They are really unable to maintain their performance and health. They are too busy with parties and nightclubs, because if we talk about ACL injuries, it is not only Neymar who has experienced it, CR7 is also one of the players who has experienced an ACL injury, but the difference is that CR7 is still playing on the field and even still getting offers from other clubs. even though in terms of age, Neymar is much younger than CR7, but it is very unfortunate that Neymar was unable to maintain his performance well. So in the end, to keep getting a place in the Brazilian national team, Neymar returned to his old club, Santos FC.

Many people say that the current Brazilian national team is the era of Neymar Jr., but Neymar currently does not show at all that he is still one of the best Brazilian players.

Some injuries were due to pure bad luck, like the back injury at the World Cup and this last serious knee injury, were things that could not be avoided, but he had several and several injuries simply because he did not lead the life of a high-level athlete, as I said the other day, Neymar reached a point in his life where he chose to be a celebrity instead of a high-level football athlete, and as time goes by, his body begins to take its toll on the choices he made.

I'm not a doctor, but I've always wondered the following:

- How was it possible for a player who was injured to go out partying and dancing and this not have any consequences for his recovery from the injury?

When he was injured, he would always go to parties and dance and this would anger his fans, especially when he was at PSG. Maybe I'm wrong, but in my opinion, the fact that he was injured and went to parties to dance may have weakened his body to the point that the injuries took longer to heal and his physique could no longer reach the desired speed on the field because he was out of action for so long.
Maybe he needs to party to enable him not to be depressed or to forget his sorrows. To be out of games for such a long period could be frustrating so he needs to engage in some things that give him joy.

But too much or everything is bad. If Neymar keeps partying and drinking excessively consistently, it will affect his fitness. The injury might heal but he might not be fit enough to play games. He needs to discipline himself because it will aid his fast recovery.

In the case of many famous Brazilian players, including Neymar, they have the habit of going to parties a lot even when they are not injured and when they reach 29 years of age they can no longer maintain the same physical condition, they start to become a big headache for the coaches and then return to Brazil where they play to retire. That is why Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi will always be well remembered, the guys do not get involved in partying controversies while they are injured and to this day they manage to play well even at their age.

Yesterday, I saw a news in one of the sports tabloids where it was reported that Brazilian national team legend Romario had said Brazil can not win the 2026 FIFA World Cup if Neymar Jr isn't fit and included in the squad. The report came as a surprise to me of I must be honest because looking at the Brazilian national team, I think they are the most talented in the world at the moment and without the presence of Neymar Jr, I expect them to gave a great outing in the 2026 world cup or possibly win it.
Comparing the quality of players in the Brazil national team with the other top national teams, do you what Romario said is true or you have a different idea. Let me read your thoughts

Like I'm even surprised that the statement was coming from Romario, a former Brazil international who have seen several stars emerge in the national team and at the end of their careers leave the stage while other young stars replace them seamlessly. Brazil is one country that are good are producing football talents and that's why they're still the most successful football nation on the planet.

So with or without the presence of Neymar in the Brazil national team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, I still consider them a very strong contender to win the tournament. They still have the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Endrick and so many other talented footballers in their attacking line so yes, they can win it
I saw the news and because of how controversial I thought it is, I decided to bring it here. I want to believe that Neymar Jr is Romario's favorite player among all the Brazilian that are still playing professional football but when you consider the history of the Brazilian national team and how they've produced superstars after superstars in football, you'll come to terms with the fact that Romario was wrong to make such statement. Looking at the current Brazil national team squad, winning the FIFA World Cup I think is more possible without Neymar Jr than when he's present. He doesn't have the ability to compete in big tournament like the WC anymore I think

Sometimes, having fun or doing what gives you joy can lead to fast recovery, because you will be happy. However, I hope that his drinking is not excessive and not much of alcohol, if not that wouldn't do him any good based on his condition. He gat his life to live if he is involved in any activities that will affect his performance negatively.

The changes that occur in World Cup qualification seem to be the heaviest burden for Brazil in the history of football, which is getting much tighter. The play-off round system will prove that players from European teams from any league will make Brazil's mentality unable to move. Let's look at FIFA's rules for increasing slots. to 6.5 opens up hope that Brazil will qualify.

Big teams in international football competitions have won the World Cup during their heyday, but after several senior players retired, the Brazilian squad is no longer a dangerous opponent. Now the fact is that Brazil is torn between qualifying or not in the World Cup. 2026 with other teams.
It is really sad to see a country that produces talented footballers have to experience a difficult situation like this, they have experienced a significant decline at the national level and it is very unfortunate when we see the players they have are actually enough to make them able to show a good game. However, if we look back at the past, several countries have also experienced the same thing, either because the regeneration process did not go well, poor management and so on. However, they can also grow their fangs again, I hope Brazil can also show improvement in a short time.

Times have changed, today Brazil doesn't scare any opponent, there is no respect (sporting-wise) for the Brazilian team as there was in the past, a team that has serious difficulties against opponents like Venezuela and Paraguay cannot hope for greater ambitions in a tournament like the World Cup... that is, if they manage to qualify, of course, because the way things are, the possibility of not going to the 2026 World Cup is very real.

Let this sink in. Brazil will qualify for the FIFA World Cup of 2026. But that maybe only due to the fact that recently FIFA increased the number of slots from the CONMEBOL from 4.5 to 6.5. Had it remained at 4.5, then there was a real chance that Brazil would have missed out. And remember that we are talking about a team that has won the World Cup multiple times. Just shows how the European nations with fat pockets and established leagues have pushed out traditional powerhouses such as Brazil.

It's not just about the country that has won the World Cup, it's more than that, and actually we can't compare it to countries that are very established with very competitive leagues. What Brazil is experiencing in my opinion is because they can't manage the potential that they have. If we look at the squad that they have now, they have a lot of talented players, it's just that they have lost the identity of the typical football that they have, I don't want to say it's contaminated, but I think it's because the players seem to lack motivation, and also the federation has problems with development.

You have good point, but now things are taking good changes around the soccer world even though we all know about talent and skills of Brazilian soccer, but their depth as team is now on worst level which is not allowing them to have good results in big events.

Currently, in qualifiers they are suffering badly and 5 wins 4 loses and 5th spot all about them next game against Columbia surely not easy but still I am sure about their qualification into FIFA World Cup 2026 but about their performance it's surely not good. Neymar is playing or not it's not problem now their biggest problem is how can they keep things on good level many big players with good skills, but their performance as team is worse which is the biggest problem, and they needed a creative and well knowledgeable coach which give them good results and players good confidence.

Someone should advise him in a sincere manner before it is too late. That is, if he is in the brink of diverting his path. But if he is just doing this on occasional basis, he maybe is just trying to unwind and the people seeing him thought that he is losing his path to greatness. But at the end of the day, he is the one controlling his life and for sure, he knows where he is heading to. Who knows, he's really just enjoying the breaks and people are too consumed on what they are seeing...

Maybe I might not be accurate, but Brazil players usually have a high rate of partying, financial recklessness, and going bankrupt. I hope Neymar is not taking the same path. He is such a gifted player who has been challenged by injuries. But he would do himself better if he kept working on his fitness and avoided any lifestyle that would make him lose shape or form. He should know that there are players who have gone through the same problems but with hard work and dedication, they came back to football better and stronger.

Have you read about Roberto Carlos? he gave an interview how he loves drinking these days and he has 11 kids with 7 women. Ok not that important if he can afford it and at least he remained a professional player during his career, but it's crazy.

Money to some degree is a problem. These guys sign double digit million dollar contracts when they are not even 22 or 23 years old. But this is what being a professional has become. Do some research on those big legends and what they made like 50 years ago. That was ridiculous if you compare it with these days.

At one point Neymar looked pretty bloated, like fatty. I don't know what his condition is right now, but I don't think he is a guy who gets wasted all day long. He may not be as motivated with other things like food and regular workouts, but getting wasted, I don't know. He lives the best life so to say, but I think without drugs.

But years ago, Mbappe would have been a Real Madrid player very early in his career, but now what you see how much money he made, it's understandable that he chose to play in such a weak league.

Is Neymar still part of the Brazilian team when he is not injured? I don't know what it's like for now.

Generally too much of partying isn't a good thing for athletes,  provided you aren't retired and not on holidays,  the effect of it on their fitness isn't one they should be reminded about but then for the purpose of leisure if it becomes necessary,  it shouldn't be done excessively but in perfect moderation and that's what Neymar did needed since he was still going to play football much after that time so it wasn't something he would day he wasn't aware but then I believe it wouldn't be long or difficult for him to get back inform and play as he used to.

Injury does not mean he has to lie down all day, in this case he is injured and cannot play because his condition does not allow it. But for other lighter activities it is not a problem. I do not approve of this because as you said they also need entertainment. However, I also agree with you, if it is excessive then it is also bad. Players must also know what their condition is like and try as much as possible to maintain it so that they can recover from injury in a faster time. I think this is not the first time seeing players like that and like it or not it can destroy their own careers.
I like to consider certain factors before pointing out my opinion. One is if it was medically advised. He has been away from the field for a long time, its bound to get to him, so maybe he might be shifting to depression. That he was advised to step out, hang out with friends, or do what he loves to just relax. That's one.

Another thing is moderation. If he's doing it moderately and he goes for his medical check-ups regularly, and probably it's not affecting his health, then maybe it's okay.

But yes, looking from the outside,  if the clubbing and drinking is not recommended and supervised, then it's not okay to be seen partying, drinking, and stressing the health that you're supposed to be putting back together in order to play for the club that pays you.

I just pray that this is not a time in his career where he's shifting to depression and he's now acting without properly thinking, so it would not ruin his career entirely. Because our health is fragile, he might be partying in the club and even get more injured or take a lot of alcohol that will hurt his health internally. Fingers crossed that he recovers fast, gets back to his normal self physically, mentally, emotionally, and be the player we admire.

i think saying this kind of thing to a big and star studded team like brazil can be inappropriate and even poisonous and make other players feel disappointed that they may not be seen like him.
Didn't all the football stars who came and shone then leave the games, their team was also destroyed or they couldn't win a trophy anymore? ,no.
So in my opinion, whether Neymar plays for the national team or not, the rest of the stars and players on the team should appear in the World-cup without thinking that they don't have a legend and luck with them and show their capabilities and talents.
Like I'm even surprised that the statement was coming from Romario, a former Brazil international who have seen several stars emerge in the national team and at the end of their careers leave the stage while other young stars replace them seamlessly.
