I don't pick interest in country games because there's absence of good chemistry occurrence between players. Brunei Darussalam is absolutely not up to the standards of Indonesia when it comes to football. Humiliating Brunei Darussalam 6 nil is definitely not a big deal because the country have no resourceful player that stand in position to elevates the team's performance. Perhaps they played a defensive football throughout the game, but not able to withstand the fierce pressure of Indonesia, invading the territory with simple counter attack and full dominance.

Indonesia wining getting a win against Brunei Darussalam isn't a surprise for me as I expected such from them against a team who has had almost no appearance in the world cup, if I'm not mistaking. Wining wasn't so much of a big deal, their opponent was weaker than they are , although Indonesia isn't a big name enough in football and I'm waiting to see how they will perform against other big team who equals their team dept I'm the nearest future.

I'm still trying to probably get a internationally recognize start in Indonesia but at the moment I can't remember any so I don't know who will be doing the magic for them subsequently but then they did utilized their opportunity very well as such may take a very long time again before it comes and even if it does they will probably not get a win with such difference in score line.

I must congratulate them on this epic win regardless and wish for them to stay consistent so they can go far because sincerely I don't see them going pass the group stage in the actual world cup games but if they could get an improved tactics to fave bigger teams with some level of consistency they could pull through.

While these players clearly have improved the performance of the team the teams where they play are weak to average teams in the leagues where they take part and as you say it will be very difficult for Indonesia to qualify.I think the real thing to improve is to improve the local players,to make them play overseas and this so far looks like a gigantic task to achieve as I have seen a couple of games in the Indonesian league which for me needs a huge amount of improvement,without this happening you should not have those high hopes for qualifying.

But apart from playing in team that is able to provide big payouts at the end of retirement many star players also play for teams that in their youth have made name for themselves and also added better playing skills so that they are able to have great careers.
But in this current era most star players prefer to go to foreign teams who can provide large sums of money for retirement and can have luxurious or guaranteed life when they are no longer players but actually if they only talk about their money become football coach because all great coaches were also born from former football players.
It just that when they decide to become coaches they have to work again until they are really tired of being in the world of football.

Unfortunately star players who are nearing the end of their retirement cannot be called up for their country national team because they have been replaced by young players.
If they can play for the national team at the end of their retirement then that is the last award for football player.

Indonesia has shown a lot of improvement during the last few years. And one of the reasons is that the management got a few overseas players into the national squad. Players such as Shayne Pattynama (FK Viking), Sandy Walsh (KV Mechelen) and Rafael Struick (ADO Den Haag) have been inducted into the team this year, and they have boosted up performance of the team. But even then, qualifying to the world cup, in a confederation with 50+ members is going to be really hard. Anyway, the picture will be clear soon.

The result didn't come as a surprise because Brunei Darussalam is not a recognised football nation. The Brunei Darussalam men's national team is ranked191th in the FIFA ranking and has lost against Hong Kong, Cambodia, Philippines and Taiwan. And they conceived five goals and above in these losses. Winning against Brunei Darussalam is not a big deal, as they are one of the weakest teams from the AFC confederation. But Indonesia should try their best to qualify, as this time there are more slots available from AFC. 8.5 slots are available this time, compared to 4.5 for Qatar 2022. So it is not going to be too hard for Indonesia to qualify. They are currently ranked as the 28th strongest team within AFC. However they are placed with some of the stronger teams in their group. Iraq is currently among the top-10 in AFC, while Vietnam is also ranked higher. Indonesia need to finish at top-2 in the group to qualify for the next round.

It is definitely not surprising results from Indonesia. After all, they are actually better compared to the opponent that they easily beat. But from now on the competition is going to get tougher. Indonesia will have to find ways to perform consistently to advance. They have been able to win really big against this opponent. So I believe they will actually be very confident right now. But let's hope that the confidence does not turn into overconfidence, lol. They have to be realistic about what they can achieve at the same time, passionate.

I was researching the oldest players to compete in a World Cup, and curiously these titles belong to goalkeepers. So... seeing a striker playing in a World Cup at the age of 40 is really something "out of the ordinary".

For those who are curious, historically these are the oldest players to play in a FIFA World Cup.

1. Essam El-Hadary – Age: 45 years old

Well, I guess it is just me or some people of my generation who actually grown up watching these two perform against each other, and having a rivalry for almost 20 years if I am not wrong. And a lot of people are saying that Cristiano Ronaldo is finished. He is washed up. But I definitely do not think so because he is still scoring a lot of goals and still taking football really seriously. I only can imagine what could have happened if he had not gone to Manchester United and actually decided to go to Manchester City. But I still do want to see Cristiano Ronaldo winning the World Cup. I want to see the GOAT conversation brought back again.

If you put age into consideration, by 2026 I don't think his form will still be that perfect enough, to be able to play productively in the world cup, he will be 39 or 40 by 2026, a 40 year old man on the pitch can never be compared with the young minds and players who will be at the world cup the, he might be good enough but will definitely not be able to perform optimally, definitely not complete 90mins.

He can be substituted but I doubt if he will be able to play 90mins but then he will be better if he is in the Coaching crew assisting them with some good ideas and tactics, he will be better with technical advises to the team of coach for his national team than he would be on the pitch, his experience will be a very useful contribution to them if he should be advising them.

Although if he happens to play it will really be a boost to his team mate and probably help their confidence but then I don't think he should as he definitely not going to perform like he did when he was much younger.

I guess there is still a small question mark when it comes to Bellingham performing the same way for England as he is doing for Real Madrid. He is doing superb at the moment, but sometimes I wonder how much of all the scorer points was a bit of luck and how much of it he can maintain long-term. There were several games that could as well have ended without him scoring a goal, but so far he is riding a serious wave. It is by now definitely more than just a lucky start. That is when a player scores a few goals in the first 2 or 3 games, but this has become the norm for him now. And there are still almost 3 years to go until the World Cup, which means there is even more time for him to improve and he is just beginning.

Indonesia success qualify to second round World Cup qualifier after winning aggregate 12-0 from Brunei Darussalam, its not really surprised result depend on weakness opponent teams and Indonesia will be in Group F on second round of qualifier. I am so excited with my national team winning aggregate big score against Brunei Darussalam and already for second round matches in Group F filled by Iraq, Vietnam and Philippines. Opening match of World Cup qualifier second round will start on November 17 and hope Indonesia can lead to third round. In second round, two national teams standing above will qualify to third round and I hope have opportunity for Indonesia can finish on 1st or 2nd standings position to get place qualify on third round.

At the 2022 Qatar World Cup there were many changes experienced by the Portugal national team one of which was by using more young players who were called up to strengthen the team for the World Cup and Fernando Santos as the coach at that time prioritized players that tended to be faster and that why Ronaldo doesn't seem to be prioritized as much as some other young players.

Felix in Barcelona is another young talent I'm hoping to see perform at the world cup, he has show a different level of performance at the club side so I'm hoping to see him do same with his national team, and if he does he could most likely get more recognition which will increase his value and worth at the club.
