However regardless all of the referee decision but Indonesia can't do anything because in fact they only can playing draw from Bahrain but i think Indonesian players should be forget this result and focus for upcoming match against China and so far China is the weakest team in group C because until 3 matches they still unable to collect points and hopefully this time Indonesia can beat China and gets 3 points from this match
Yes, Indonesia Team must focus on the next match versus China, when I look on paper, Indonesia is look more powerful to defeat china on their home. But, Indonesia team must not be careless because many factors china can win or make draw the match like supporters or players ambition to rise from the bottom board. At the moment, china don't have point yet, still 0, which I think the player have motivation to get at least 1 point to face the shamed from their fans. So, if Indonesia win, they can fix their position at least to 2nd position if Japan wins vs Australia, and Bahrain draws versus Saudi. But, we know Bahrain have backing or insider on AFC, that maybe they can win versus Saudi, so that situation 3rd position can be realistic for Indonesian position on stand.

by the way, I just won Peru vs Uruguay a while ago,  Grin this is insane when I look at how darwin nunez Is getting hard to pierce Peru defender

At this time there is no point in regretting the last match because no matter how Indonesia continue to protests, of course, it will not change the result of the match, I see that actually the referee's decision may not have had an impact on Indonesia's victory when if Witan had not wasted some of the opportunities that existed when he counterattacked and if he had not been in possession of the ball for the longest time by directly passing to Marselino,  I think we will see different results at this time regardless of the referee support for Bahrain in the match, now of course Indonesia main focus is to face China, although they look weaker on paper but Indonesia should not underestimate China which has a high spirit in playing, looking at the comparison of the two teams at this time, it is likely that Indonesia will get points of course wide open because of China position at the bottom of the standings now, meanwhile, if we talk about the possibilities that happen in other teams, I agree with you because indeed football today no longer seems to be fair play and insiders often determine the final result, but even so, Indonesia must remain focused on getting 3 points in the next match.

I'm pretty sure that's what the captain said in one of the interviews. He said in football you can't expect fairness to win you the game, so they need to move on and prepare for the next match asap. I think the chance for them to go to the next round is still high anyway since they will face Bahrain again in Jakarta. Who knows maybe they'll get another 3 points from Australia or Arab too, or steal another point and finish with 10 points or so. It's still too early for them to give up.
I am sure they can maintain their mentality very well, even this very disappointing result can be a motivation for them to be more effective. I think it will be a different story when they can take advantage of the opportunities that occur in extra time, and if it can be used as a goal then it will be a game killer. Indeed, in football you cannot expect to get the fairest justice, sometimes that factor makes the results not in accordance with expectations. I even saw an official post from Bahrain noting that the goal they created occurred in the 90+6 minute, it was very funny. This is a lesson for Indonesia that when they have improved there are things that will bother them.

BTW the Indonesia vs Bahrain match last night disappointed me because the referee didn't calculate the end time correctly, he gave 6 minutes extra time while it ended with 9 minutes in the second half which is very coincidental or on purpose that at that time Bahrain managed to equalize their position from Indonesia which ended with a 2-2 draw.
Honestly I was very happy when the match had been going on until the 97th minute. I mean this would be Indonesia's first win in the qualifying round and they deserved to win this match. Unfortunately the referee kept wasting time until a corner kick resulted in a goal. This is a disappointing result but we should not keep thinking about this match. Currently Indonesia is ranked 5th in the standings. This is not a good result and losing 3 points is really very disappointing. I hope Indonesia can win the match against China so that they still have a chance to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
3 minutes in Bahrain's favor and it made me disappointed when Bahrain managed to equalize then the Referee blew the whistle, and the match should have been finished in the 96th minute but instead it stopped in the 99th minute, this is the bad behavior of this match, and now Bahrain's victory is controversial many suspect it was deliberate and Indonesia seriously states that this match is not fair, we should now be in second place in the group but it was thwarted by the referee who was inconsistent with the extra time given before.

The funny math going on right now is 90+6=99.
Some indonesian people are considers the referee has been stole their victory this because during the match the referee has been make several controversial decision for Indonesia besides that i have watching Bahrain players always be provoke Indonesian players and always be over reacted when Indonesa did foul to them and indeed the most controversial decision for this match is when stoppage time is too long until reach to 9 minutes which this is unacceptable

I believe the first really big wake up call was when Brazil got destroyed when they hosted the World Cup in 2014 against Germany. I don't know the data, but it must have been the worst defeat in decades for them? Losing a game 7-1 when you host the World Cup as the biggest football nation of all times is like red alert.
2014 world cup at home was really the peak of brazilian soccer decadence personified on the match they lost by 7x1 against Germany. However, the decline started in the world cup of 2006. Brazil was the favorite, but failed to manage beating France on quarter finals, if I remember correctly, with the goal of Thierry Henry.

From that world cup on, everything has fallen apart for Brazil in soccer. Even Neymar, idolized by a vast number of fans globally, wasn't enough for Brazil to retrieve its glory.

A new composition is needed in brazilian national team. To start playing as a squad and to stop idolizing one player or another should be the first step. The reinforcements yesterday from Botafogo was decisive for the victory against Chile. And both Botafogo' players, Igor Jesus and Luiz Henrique, were unknown players for majority of the public.

I'm pretty sure there are others like them. It's the objective of the scout team to find them, just like Botafogo is doing, and adding great value to the club's performance.

I think is not all that simple to identify an exact point in time as the beginning of their decline. Frankly, only counting titles would not be appropriate as winning it is incredibly hard. Back in 2010 the Netherlands played an incredible game and their team was impressive with Snijder and Robben and van Persie, etc. In other words, it is fine when you lose a game against such a high quality team. It can happen to anyone, Brazil included of course. But the 7-1 against Germany was a shocker for me.

You could of course go back so far and mention 2006 as well, but France has indeed been a very good team, too. But the decline that you could now recently observe is taking place on a different level. They can barely beat the South American underdogs. If it wasn't for so many ranks to qualify from South America for the World Cup, I would still be hesitant to say that they will make it. Now with these conditions they will make it, but they are not playing like any Brazilian team from the past. They are losing more than 50% of their games and without disrespect towards all of those great South American players, Brazil has been above anyone else along with Argentina for a very long time.

But as always when the real games are around the corner, I still think that Brazil is able to beat a lot of other teams when they are in good form.

Whenever there are games involving national teams, the number of players who suffer injuries increases. Unfortunately, FIFA seems to ignore this. Today I read news that says Valentin Carboni suffered an injury.

Valentín Carboni Suffered Serious Injury with Argentina National Team

Following the 1-1 draw against Venezuela, the Argentina National Team received the unfortunate update. Valentín Carboni was ruled out of the squad due to a knee trauma that turned out to be a significant injury, sidelining him for an extended period.

Well, FIFA needs to start thinking about organizing a calendar that doesn't put the players under too much pressure, because with so many competitions, the players end up suffering a lot from injuries and consequently the teams are harmed. The Argentine national team is starting to have problems in the squad in terms of quality, many high quality Argentine players are retiring or have already retired and the current Argentine coach has not been putting certain players like Paulo Dybala, so I see Argentina falling in performance in the near future when Messi retires.

For me, the last chance brazil had to win the World Cup was in 2010 when Ronaldinho was not called up. This was Dunga's biggest mistake, as he was the coach at the time. He was heavily criticized at the time. Furthermore, he could have called up Neymar, but Neymar was too young at the time and I don't know if he'd be able to handle the pressure of being in a World Cup and if he would have enough physical strength to handle it, because Neymar gets injured very easily, even today.

Other players like Adriano and Ronaldo, who were at Corinthians at the time, could also be considered.

Not to mention that the 2010 World Cup was one of the most special of all. I don't remember another World Cup as themed as that one. If Brazil had won that World Cup, I'd have been satisfied. They could have gone another 4 World Cups without winning.

I don't know whether Ronaldinho could have won them anything in 2010, especially as Spain was on a level of their own. But still the game against the Netherlands, the final opponent for Spain, was in great shape too. But it were the small things back then and when Brazil got the red card, it was pretty much game over.

Now I think what is concerning is that playing bad is not an exception anymore for Brazil. They have won the game now and they will get away with it and qualify for sure, but 13 points after 9 games? That's brutal and I understand every Brazilian fan to be frustrated. They still have some of the greatest players in the world and yet they can't put a functioning squad together.

While FIFA did not make a ban on the naturalization of descendants, I thought it was legitimate either any country, maybe even if there were some other countries that had descendants of Indonesian blood it was worthy to get the right if you wanted to play in the Indonesian national team.
Yes, even though it is said that the Netherlands v2.0 or even v.10 even if it is allowed in my opinion it does not need to be a conversation that is too long.

There may be some people who feel unacceptable because many of the national team players are filled with diaspora players, so it becomes a debate. However, the Indonesian national team is not entirely filled with diaspora players, and this shows that Shin Tae-young has a balance in choosing players. So apart from relying on diaspora players, he also gives opportunities to local players who do have potential and ability. This shows that Shin Tae-young's main goal is to strengthen the national team, trying to utilize the best talents, regardless of where they come from.

And further in the Asian zone World Cup qualifying event group c, Indonesia has never experienced defeat. And when we watched yesterday's match when the Indonesian national team played against Bahrain. Although Indonesia has a bad history when playing against Bahrain, where Indonesia lost 10-0 to Bahrain at that time. But in yesterday's match, the young Garuda played quite well and managed to match Bahrain's game. in the match Indonesia should have come out as the winner, but because in the match there were several controversial referee decisions, in the end the match ended in a draw.

In a few days Indonesia will face China, and I believe Indonesia will win 3 points, even though they are playing away.

Of course, Brazil try hard enough to fulfill their hexa mission, but they fail time and again. I think there is a lot of lack of Brazilian team's play and confidence, which is why they are not playing at their best. It is true that the Argentina team has performed very poorly in the last few years, and they have come to the last minute to win the World Cup and the Copa América with great success. In that case, I would like to say that since Brazil team has been performing poorly for many years, they must try to improve their game. Although the Brazil team is currently strong, if their strategy and confidence are good, they will certainly be able to fulfill their hexa mission. However, if the Brazil team is to fulfill its dream, they will have to improve from the whole place but will be able to fulfill their Hexa mission.

The Hexa plan for the Brazilian team will be a practically impossible objective to achieve in this World Cup, even though they have good players on the team, there are no tactics, rehearsed plays, there is no standard of play... Can someone please tell me what Brazil's game system is? Because I can't see any... It's been 22 years since Brazil won a World Cup, that's a long time, the truly above-average players left the Brazilian team in 2006, that is, 18 years ago, since then it has been said that it is a renewal of the team, but a renewal that lasts almost 2 decades? That's all wrong.

If the players haven't figured out how to deal with high altitudes by now, well, they deserve to lose. I mean, come on, no respectable player or coach will complain anymore. This is modern football Smiley Bolivia past 8 home matches, only 3 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses. So yeah man, it's not an issue anymore.

And about Brazil, no Vinicius so they might actually win big this time Wink
Maybe I am not alone in this thought or maybe I am just myself, but I honestly believe Brazil should not even be in 2026 world cup. Because they are doing terrible right now and even if they can barely go there, they are going to be humiliated. The best would be just pulling the plug early and trying to recover from the current state they are in. They will realize something is wrong, and next time they will have more hunger towards world cup.

In this case, world cup 2030 could become something they can win, and this is why they should miss this time around. I am not considering this as a big deal at the moment, but I believe they could definitely miss and be better later on. After all, what's the point of joining in, and then do terrible and go back home, if you could not even join for once but have a chance to win next time. I remember 2022 was a period where people thought Brazil was top three team, and now they are not even top 5 or 10.

Those who expect the current Brazil team to fill the hexa may be fools because they are not looking at the recent poor performances of these players ie the performance of the Brazil team. Even those with the slightest knowledge of football would not say right now that Brazil will be able to complete the hexa mission with their current squad. The condition of this team has now reached such a level that they are going to miss out on a place in the World Cup after losing most of the World Cup qualifiers.

However, they went one step closer to qualifying for the World Cup with a win over Chile in their last match. For the Brazil team to fulfill the hexa mission, they need to develop more skilled players who will take the team to the highest level of success with extreme confidence and great performances.

Yes, even though it is said that the Netherlands v2.0 or even v.10 even if it is allowed in my opinion it does not need to be a conversation that is too long.

Historically, FIFA has determined that an athlete must have the permanent nationality of a country, whether born or naturalized, in order to represent the respective national team, in addition to prohibiting, as a general rule, a player from representing a second national team after playing for a first one in an official competition of any category or type of football.

But... there are exceptions:
There are some requirements that must be met to allow a player to change sporting nationality in order to represent another national team.
Since 2009, FIFA has removed the age restriction of 21 years and in 2020, some other criteria for multiple eligibility and change of association were changed:
1. Being born in the desired country;
2. Your parents or grandparents were born in the country, or;
3. Having lived continuously in the country for at least 2 years.
And yes most of them are now from their grandparents who are from Indonesia today who want to defend this nation, although there are many complaints about what Indonesia is doing, but FIFA regulations still do not limit it, it is a legal way.

That injury time is always the such thing to be controverted. I don't know why the referee always not consistent to blow the whistle when the time was appropriate. From 6 minutes to 9 minutes is not acceptable. Yes i can accept when the time extended to 7 minutes, but over 3 minutes is an exaggeration. And when I look how Mohammed Marhoon stand, that look offside, he stands in front from Indonesia defender and the referee didn't look him as offside. So I think this match is not fair for Indonesia, not only lost my bet  Grin, I lose also my excitement throughout the game. Now, we have to win against china on next 15 October to to secure 3dr or 4th the position stand.
It was quite funny to see how the match ended. And if you look at the referee's face, after the second goal scored by Bahrain, we can see that he wanted to quickly blow the whistle to signal the end of the game. This is indeed an annoying ending. But I hope that the Indonesian national team must also maintain their focus even when the coach has not blown the whistle to signal the end of the match. Even though the time will be longer, if the Indonesian national team maintains its focus then I am sure this team can maintain their advantage in this match. Unfortunately, the Indonesian players lost focus in the match due to the referee taking too long to tolerate time that even exceeded 3 minutes. I think everyone who watched the match also realized all the irregularities in the match.  But the most important thing is that hopefully in the match against China we will be able to see Indonesia win the match more convincingly.

It was very controversial the referee at Bahrain vs Indonesia match, Indonesia failed to secure three points after conceding in the final minute of added time.
Hopefully, they learned from this and aim to secure victory with 2 goal difference or at the very least improve their concentration in the last minutes of a match so they don't concede late goals again. Complaining about unfairness can't guarantee anything IMO, even if governing bodies revise or stop using a controversial referee I don't think they'll change the results of a match that has ended. A football team can only depend on themselves to secure 3 points in this modern time.
So it is their fault while Indonesia is not that strong and better team.  Against Bahrain, Indonesia could not win the match, if they worked hard against them, they could have won the match.  But they could not succeed, which was the real reason.

If they look better in the next matches, sure, but teams like them learn very little. But the referee shouldn't have done it because that alone explains why.  If it will do such things, it should really be applied for.  So team should work hard and get points, if not next time play with good preparation and win. But if a hard-won team is treated unfairly, it is an insult to the game.

Brazil just got a boost to their ambition to qualify for the next World Cup by defeating Chile today. Chile took the lead earlier and Brazil equalized before the end of the first half. It took the Brazilian side more than forty minutes to get the winning goal through Luiz Henrique. With these three points, the Samba Boy are now in the fourth position with thirteen points. This will be a big relief to coach Dorival Jr after securing just ten points in eight games. The Brazilian national team are highly unpredictable; they shouldn't be underrated. The country has so many quality players, and if a coach can put together the right squad, they can win any competition.
