personally i prefer the flat earth theory due to working scale models, the earth seems to be the center of the universe and if correct would mean the ancient greek antikythera mechanism is a perfectly working scale model of flat earth, of course i appreciate if this is the case then we are living inside a monstrous perpetual motion machine.
now sphere earth can never have a working scale model, the amount of times ive argued this point is unreal, but i always end the argument with ok here is a tennis ball, stick me some bodies of water on its surface then throw it to me so i can get a drink.
to be fair all the theories are laughable in their own way, but we will never know the truth for ourselves unless we go stealing boats or planes and explore for ourselves, and the chances of a new age Columbus are slim

^^^ The Earth and rocket trail show zero angular motion in this time lapse (how could they, the camera is stationary?) while the stars trails are visible evidence that the stars are in motion around a singular point. You may be suffering from downs syndrome if you interpret this image as evidence the Earth is moving.

Actually, it's the other way around. The kinds of star trails show GE. The lack of similar movement for the rocket trail shows that it is traveling with the earth and camera.
Airy's Failure, M&M and Sagnac have significant flaws in them regarding the idea that the earth is flat. However, there is a lot that has to be learned. The reason why standard science doesn't accept the aether is that there is no way to get a handle on it. CERN just might be able to do this one day.
Ignoring the aether is merely a stepping stone to further scientific study... just like evolution. It's too bad things like evolution and ignoring the aether produce a bunch of false ideas in both, GE and FE people.

I did a quick YouTube search and I found a single video, a comedy skit by a comedian and artist. He claimed to have worked for NASA as a contractor painting pictures of Earth and other planets from space.

They will tell you that it has to do with perspective. They will say that we are using the focal point idea incorrectly, and that at certain distances, the focal point stops intersecting, and starts to separate, like we are looking through some kind of a gigantic convex lens... a great big magnifying glass.
They will tell you that when you use a telescope, all that it does is to extend the perspective, not change it into the wrong kind of perspective... the wrong kind that we have been taught in school, and that we see naturally with out own two eyes.
Right! And they will tell you that that is part of the reason you can't use telescopic evidence as proof for GE. So, their FE stands. They have their bases logically covered quite well... until somebody starts using their kinds of logic against them. Then they get angry and start calling names and using expletives.
