Care to explain why the Moon has no hotspot if it's a solid object reflecting sunlight? This simple optical phenonmenon is enough to prove the moon is at least not reflecting sunlight.

You need to get past the idea that there's a solar system, all the celestial objects are small, within the dome and orbit above us; there is no outer space

Well, if you became an astronaut like you said, and you looked down on the earth from orbit, it would look flat. Also, as you orbited around the planet, the cloud patterns and land patterns would drift by in front of you, changing as you moved.

And if you went far enough, the flat earth would gain a pattern of darkness across its surface, that would not move at the poles, but would move rather rapidly at the equator, until it enveloped the whole planet. Then it would withdraw itself to the opposite side of the flat earth, in reverse of the direction it had covered the earth.

Magically there would be new clouds and land masses that weren't there when the darkness had crossed the earth. And if you were in orbit for several months, you would be aware that the land masses were repeating themselves after coming out of darkness, to match the way that they looked a few months before.

Flat, with changing patterns.

If you take a real globe, cut it in half, make the curved side clear, and place it over the "globe" in the picture, what do you really have?

Flat Earth is simply an offshoot of hollow earth theory.

You simply don't understand. Google attempts to lay a globe earth out in such a way that they can show it on a flat screen. People have been doing this with maps for ages. Of course some of the flat "measurings" are going to carry over.
