Give all before death

Friendly matches are not very serious. Especially for the bigger teams. They use their reserve players most of them time so there will be no injury and fatigue on their squad. Friendly is an opportunity for coaches to try news things and experiment with their team. Odds doesn't really matter when it comes to friendly matches. But the bigger teams win more times than they draw or lose. Concluding that 70% of friendly matches end in a draw is not true. I agree that it can be disappointing at times though.
Since friendly games are not important in FIFA ranking the players must play the game with caution. It will be needless for players to pick injuries because of an unimportant game. But some players take this game seriously because it contributes to players’ goals and caps. So a player that wants to break a record or wants more caps will play his best in the game just to achieve his aim.

Some teams are natural rivals which makes them take friendly games between them seriously. There has been an old rivalry between Brazil and Argentina, Nigeria and Cameroon, and some other examples. In such friendly games, national interest is of great importance. So the player will give thier best because of pride and records.,

The reason that friendly matches are difficult to bet is because of the purpose of the match which is only as friendly as it can be including the roles which are loosen up , most times even the numbers of changes to make during the game is more than the maximum 3 for serious and normal football match. It is for recreation, keeping fit and for coaches to size their team up incase of a more serious match or tournament. The best players are most times not invited to play or are rested to avoid injuries. So because of this lowered standard, betting on them is difficult to predict. To predict draw for it or winning is a higher risk on the bettor. What most gamblers bet on it is either goal goal (g g) or 1.5 / 2.5. The believe to bet based on goals is because of the lack of seriousness and defenders / keepers may not put harder effort to defending goals.
This is how the gambling system works; they hope for us to believe that premier clubs always win when they play inferior clubs, but the current results on the wager lists show that premier clubs can lose a game at any time. I don't normally go for modest odds, always aiming at the bigger ones, since I'm always confident about the average club performance, a club without significant names, where everyone is serious and showcasing outstanding performances except for specific clubs where their key players will show-off instead of mean business.

I just lost 3 Friendly Match last week ago, and all match results draw Grin,

  • Morocco - Cape Verde,
  • Germany - Ukraine,
  • and Indonesia vs Palestine

I don't know why a strong team like German and Morocco didn't play seriously when meet in a friendly match. this will be noted and experienced in the future, So if you are bet in a friendly match, be careful to bet, don't look at how strong that team and squad, just look and be brave to bet in a draw. This is just my opinion, not always all friendly matches result for draw, but with my 3 last bets, I have a thing to bet 70% in the draw  Grin,

how about you?

As per the title of the thread, this is what happens in a friendly match which is very difficult to predict. Grin

Like the results of the friendly matches between Brazil vs Senegal and Germany vs Colombia which were unexpected, the hosts lost in this match. It should be obvious Brazil and Germany will win this friendly and there will likely be so many bettors who lose money betting on the team that is the favorite to win. It's no wonder why this could happen to Germany because out of 15 official/non-official matches Germany only won 3 times. Meanwhile, Brazil did not make sense this time and even though Brazil has the best goalkeeper in the Champions League this season, namely Ederson, they conceded 4 goals instead.
The result of the friendly match between Brazil vs Senegal was really surprising as Brazil lost to Senegal by a huge margin of 4-2. One of the four goals was an own goal. Marquinhos has scored for his team and scored against his own team ie an own goal from him. But we missed the Brazil that always performs against Senegal. Brazil took the lead in the first 11 minutes but Diallo paid for it in the next 22 minutes. Later, Marquinhos own goal as well as Mané scored in the 55th minute to make their goal difference with Brazil 3-1. Marquinhos' goal in the 58th minute brought some hope back, but Brazil were unable to match their form later, resulting in a massive 4–2 defeat against Senegal.

Has betting on soccer ever been easy before?  Grin draw is the most difficult option to play in football betting. It is some time very common in some local matches especially in Africa leagues thou.

As a gambler, you should be aware that players do not perform at their best form during friendly matches and one should not expect much from the game. Morocco should have beaten Cape Verde normally but this is football and everything is possible.

I know about that and maybe don't expect more because whether it's official matches or not I think Germany is the worst team at the moment. Maybe if you don't agree, that's your choice, but apart from this it's just a friendly match, Germany shouldn't have lost after a series of bad matches in official matches that have continued until now.

So yes even if Germany uses a main player or layers thereof it doesn't change the fact that they are the biggest team in the world and shouldn't lose to a team that is weaker than them. So I think that's it from my point of view and I also don't bet on matches like this, but if the original goal is just to have fun betting on friendly matches then that's fine for me. Anyway, don't be too serious about this. Cheesy

As you said it shouldn't end in a bad series and if it happens once, it is ok because other great teams have suffered from losses against weaker teams as well especially in friendly matches, but Germany is bad for some time now.

I think OP is also referring to those matches being hardly predictable in regards to the favorite team. But that is where is also a chance to bet on the weaker team because in those friendly matches the odds are often good for the weaker teams and in those matches they have a higher chance of winning. At times it could be worth the risk.

Did you know that friendly matches are only for testing purposes?
That every team that is strong enough does not play optimally apart from avoiding unethical talk as well as to maintain the stamina and condition of each player so they don't get injured.
It looks like not only the Brazil vs Senegal and Germany vs Colombia matches but also several other friendlies will be the same and this is a very good opportunity for the house edge as they can take a lot from matches like this.

I myself have never been interested in betting on friendly matches because it only makes me panic and lose some money.

The main problem in the friendlies between top class national teams like Argentina and a very low level national team (like indonesia), its one very simple, the player from the a+ national team doesnt play at full gas, they dont find the game competitive and also they are not gonna risk a injury in one non sense game, most of this games are played because of money or marketing/political things.

For thetop class national team this kind of games doesnt serve for nothing, they cant try new formations because the opponent its so weak.
Yes, the aim of those games is simply to make some money and nothing else, and even if fans know this is the case if some of their favorite stars are to participate in the game people are willing to pay a lot of money to watch an exhibition match, however the results of such match are incredibly difficult to predict as no one is taking the game seriously, and no one can really blame the players of this as it is not as if they are mistaken.
if the friendly matches that are held are on the agenda of FIFA, this is also related to the ranking of the national team. apart from having fun and earning money. I think we can see how the national team will prepare their squad. this is more about the preparations made by the Indonesian national team for the experience of facing strong teams. this is what is being rumored in the media because they are preparing their team to compete in the Asian Cup. and their opponents are also strong teams like Japan and Iraq.

I unde that there's less efforts rendered from the recognized national teams than the attack and full force received from the unrecognized national team in terms of performance ranking, the big team would perform less because they will consider the match as being a friendly game and as you've already said, they wouldn't want to risk having injuries at the cause on their key players, you could deduce that most of the friendlies matchs, the big team will bench their star players in reserve against any key matches ahead.

I understand your perspective. These games are a tactical testing ground for coaches and a platform to assess players' fitness, often sidelining the pursuit of victory to ready the team for pivotal contests. Look at the Brazil vs Senegal and Germany vs Colombia friendlies - perfect illustrations. The teams never unleash their full potential, prioritizing player health over competition. Indeed, why risk a key player's injury in a non-consequential match?

Indeed, betting agencies capitalize immensely on these erratic games – their sustenance depends on it. Choosing not to bet on friendly matches is a wise course. At least, it spares you the anxiety of potential losses.

Chances of average clubs beating elite ones have higher odds and probability compared to the real games. Gambling with odds does not have to be limited to friendly games; an average club can score numerous goals and defeat outstanding clubs. It is common in the English Premier League. Betting on friendly games with the expectation that your prediction will be correct is only inappropriate; friendly games don't push me because I know most of the big names wouldn't trigger their seriousness and qualities during the game, always playing safe in order to avoid injury.

Some players might be on holidays and since it's not so important, most players won't fancy the game, so players from the home base would be used or from under23.
Three draws would fetch nice odds, lemme day bout 30 odds, and playing full time draw results are my thing why didn't I see it?  Cry

Well, the best you can do if you find them difficult to predict is to not play at all or get a punter you believe and edit whatever games he plays. Germany lately have been a poor Germany, they didn't do so well during the FIFA World Cup ( December ) last year.

Yeah, draw sometime happens to on the professional matches.

Aside from betting on draw or underdog team, we can bet on over goals betting option because sometime there are many goals scored. This is rarely happen on the professional matches, only few matches in a season there are more than 5 goals scored.

Friendly match is a good way to turn an upset.

maybe my mistake betting carelessly.
Initially I placed a draw bet because I watched this match live and I saw the two teams between Indonesia and Argentina trying to draw a bit and after that I decided to place a draw bet.
even though in the first half Paredes was able to score the first goal, I still believe that Indonesia can keep up with Argentina's game by scoring 1 goal.
but in the end not according to my predictions.

It's true that friendly matches are full of surprises.  Cheesy

I saw a part of the game and seriously how did you think that both teams were a bit playing to tie the game? Argentina was massively superior and there was one shot and one corner after another. It was nonstop pressure and ball possession by Argentina and Indonesia got lucky half a dozen times in the first half alone. If you thought that Argentina will be without luck until the end of the game and therefore bet on a draw, ok that is understandable, but they didn't both play to tie the game.

Not Your Keys, Not Your Bitcoin
Well, they understood that this was a friendly match so they did their best to restrain their skills and make the game as enjoyable as possible. Even though they had a chance to win, they didn't want their opponent to be embarrassed and create an unfriendly aura. Therefore, from the beginning I did not want to bet on friendly matches because it was not worth it to participate.
It's in the name "friendly" this might be the reason why players are not aggressively playing with all of their skills but it's also more exciting to watch if the players play the normal way. In the end, win or lose, it wouldn't really matter because this was only a friendly match anyway.

Friendly matches are more of entertainment than wanting to win at all cost, the two trams are invited to show the fans fun of football, their main players they have been wanting to see as many of them don't get the chance to get their ticket to watch their match in their favorite stadium, it's an opportunity for the fans to see them, that's why we hardly see them been aggressive in the field to prove that they are good, a yellow card are even rare in the friendly matches.

Quote
Before we place a bet on a friendly match, we must be sure to check their previous video, only to have an idea if how it works and which team mostly wins so that we won't be disappointed of the result that we will get on our early tries. Maybe some like to participate on it more than the normal matches because it seems special and events like this can rarely happen.

If friendly matches doesn't have a team I'm sure could be dominant in a match, I will never place bets on such teams, besides when players are on break after big leagues, there used to be numerous national leagues that do started, if there are better alternatives than the friendly matches, I don't think it's worth it trying to bet on friendly matches.
