The Saudi Pro League has brought in a lot of really good players and the future of the league also looks to be good. And certainly a lot better when compared to the MLS. I do not see any intention for any player to actually play in the MLS. I also can certainly say that it is not a dream for any player to be playing in the MLS. And let's be honest, the only reason Lionel Messi was so interested in going through the MLS was because he was getting paid really well by the club. I mean having shares in Apple is just something incredible. Especially when we all know that most of the people in the US use Apple products. Players are not going to get as much money as him.
The salaries received by European players who are brought to MLS are not large. but they offer something else that could attract European players to play in MLS. it's like you said. that also happened to Beckham at the end of his career as a professional player. and now Messi is doing it.
However, SPL clubs have the financial strength to pay Europe's top players. they made an incredible offer, and it surprised no one. more than that, currently the SPL may be an extraordinary business in the world football industry. just waiting for the time, when SPL will grow like EPL or Serie A.
When team has interest in great player but can't pay very large amount then there must be another deal offered to get the player to want to play with them and have contract for several seasons.
But this is the first time I have seen big offer for European player using one of the very popular big stock names in the offer agreement given to the player.
But looking at what Inter Miami gave Messi, isn't that big loss because Messi didn't perform very well there and was the subject of discussion when Inter Miami failed in MLS.
Well, I actually amazed by the team from the SPL which is able to pay very large salaries and can really develop rapidly after so many European players have moved there.
Every player transfer is always done very well and they even provide what each player needs so it is very natural that more and more European players are interested in joining an SPL team.
