Sunday's gossip:

Paris St-Germain's Argentina forward Lionel Messi, 35, has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, a deal which would see 33-year-old Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo, leave.
PSG want Messi to stay and have presented him with the best financial offer available from a Champions League club. So the Messi saga continues. What will he decide in the end? Will he stay at PSG or will he go to Saudi Arabia? Or go back to Barcelona? Emotionally, he is certainly most connected to Barcelona, but financially?
Newcastle's Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 25, is set to sign a new contract which would make him the highest-paid player in their history. The richest club in the world is clearly not saving on players this year  Grin
Brazil winger Raphinha, 26, would consider leaving Barcelona this summer. Arsenal want the former Leeds player, with Chelsea and Newcastle also interested. A lot of interested clubs, but what will Raphinha decide in the end?
Tottenham may have to pay Bayern Munich £10m in compensation to secure Julian Nagelsmann as manager. It seems to me that Bayern made a very big mistake in this case and almost ruined their season.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/65511685
At the moment I think it is becoming more clearer that a move is most likely because of how much tension it is causing. I also feel Lionel Messi is no longer enjoying his stay at PSG which gives one option and that is a possible departure at the end of the season but where his destination will be is what I can't say for now, hopefully we will hear something at the end of the season.

paper money is going away
Speaking of the English Premier League, it seems that Man United has an ambition to bring in a new striker since the departure of CR7. Weghorst, who replaced CR7, has so far scored very few goals. That is why Man United will be hunting for a new striker in the near future.

As we know, Harry Kane is currently a hot topic regarding his future career. Who wouldn't be tempted to play in the UCL? And considering Tottenham won't be playing in the UCL, Kane's main focus could be on the top 4 teams in the EPL. At Man City, Kane will certainly be overshadowed by Haaland. Harry Kane's best chance is to dock at Man United. Will this really happen?

There are also a number of trainers who are on the nomination list to work elsewhere. What do we think of Arne Slot, current trainer of Feyenoord and is now on the radar of all European top clubs. Also a very smart and friendly coach, I think many teams would like to have him. The most logical now seems to be a switch to the EPL, and then I put the emphasis on Tottenham and Chelsea. teams below that too. The problem with Chelsea, however, is that you don't play European football, do you want that as a coach? The big promises Ihattaren seems to stop playing football. He is still under rental contract with Juventus but has indicated that he no longer feels like it. Sonde, he was one of the greatest talents.

Actually, Chelsea has the players that they need. They have good enough players for almost every position in the squad. They just cannot play well because they don't have a good coach who can actually give proper direction to the team. Without a good coach it doesn't matter how good players the team has in the squad, they will often fail.

Getting more players in the team is not the main target for Chelsea right now in my opinion. They might need to sell some players to get others in those positions. But over all the squad is good.
I also concur that Chelsea has almost all the players that they need to make them competitive but they don't have a natural goal scorer. They need a top nine that can convert all the chances they usually create, so they need to sign a striker. But their inability to qualify for the champions league will affect the quality of strikers they will attract. Every player's dream in Europe is to feature in the Champions League. There are also possibilities that some players will want to leave Chelsea for another club that will play champions league football, so the club needs to brace up for any uncertainty.

For now, the major challenge is to get a good coach. It is the coach that will determine the players he would work with and those he wants to leave. For me, Aubameyang should be allowed to leave because his performance is far below standard. But players like Mount, Kante, Costa, and other dependable players shouldn't be allowed to leave if they want to stay. The club should consider giving them a new contract.

Even though there is currently a hot discussion regarding the transfer market for next summer, however, in several interviews Osimhen emphasized that he would not just leave his club. Several big clubs are after him, Napoli congratulated Manchester United and made a statement that Osimhen would be kept because he is one of the most valuable assets. But on the other hand Manchester United don't need to be discouraged if they can't bring in Osimhen, Manchester United still have three other options, namely Randal Kolo Muani, Dusan Vlahovic, and Joao Felix.

Osimhen is a very talented player. but if he stays at Nopoli, without being surrounded by players who have a good level be it midfielders, defenders, or whatever. they will not win the Champions League. the proof, Napoli fell over Milan. if Osimhen leaves Napoli, it will open him to measure how good he is in other competitions. plus, it is likely that his career will be even brighter. It is only natural that Napoli is difficult to catch in Serie A because other top teams are experiencing a decline in performance.

As for The Red Devils, I doubt United's management will bring in Osimhen. even if Napoli let him go, the price they charge is fantastic. so ideally, Ten Hag would prefer players who have good progress in the future. plus, do not spend large funds to bring it.  IMO, if Ten Hag includes Randal Kolo Muani in his list of target players. I'm sure he will be sharper when he plays with The Red Devils. yes, I have more faith in Ten Hag that he has an instinct for finding players that suit his style and strategy.

They already had signed Christopher Nkunku so I don't think they need another one. Besides I think Romelu Lukaku is also set to return back to Chelsea after full season loan at Inter Milan. They have signed so much young strikers that I think they don't need any more strikers. If they actually are looking to buy one then I think first priority will be to sell Lukaku and then go after to buy a striker.
Yeah there has been some bad decisions but every clubs make some. Transfers doesn't always brings success to the club. Clubs also has to give new player chances and equally player also has to come out strong in those chances as well.
I don't know what plans Todd Boehly has in place for the coming transfer season but concerning strikers I think Chelsea have some good players like Fofana, Aubameyang, Joao Felix in that position except they are considering selling some of these name. With Nkunku coming in the position of number 9 will be handled by him except they sell some of their attackers to create space for other options.

We are all the pieces of what we remember.
Honestly, him being outside of the top 10 almost always eventually comes down to having players like Lionel Messi on the same team. He almost always lived in the shadows of Messi. I am not saying that this is anyone's fault. But I surely agree that the expectations that people had from Neymar were actually never met.
Personally, I want to see Neymar in Newcastle United just to see how he can perform in the English Premier League. Probably a competitive League will also give him some boost in confidence.
Isn't Neymar's problem by now his non-stop injuries, his lifestyle and also his attitude on the pitch? One of the biggest differences between Messi and EVERY other great player was that Messi never dived and kept situations alive during the game that nobody else read like Messi did.

When Neymar feels that the soccer in La Liga and Ligue 1 was tough, then what is he going to expect from the Premier League? I can already see him lying on the ground every 15 minutes, holding his ankle such that you can't be sure whether he just lost his leg.
I like his quality as a player as long as he refrains from diving and as long as he is motivated and doesn't give up during a game and waives with his hands because he thinks he is better everyone else. The key to successful careers like Messi and Ronaldo had them is continuous performance and Neymar often has these blackouts.

Well, it is true that the English Premier League is going to be a lot more physical compared to La Liga or Ligue 1. It is actually very hard to suggest a player like Neymar to go to the Premier League, especially at this stage of his career. Because a bad injury right now can actually be career-ending for him.

I actually have seen him getting hit badly a lot of times. But that certainly does not give him an excuse to start diving on the field. I honestly believe Neymar could easily be a better player if he concentrated more on football instead of Hollywood and gaming.

Aubameyang is giving green light to returning to Barcelona right now. He is leaving Chelsea absolutely and it would be the right choice for him after not being able to find so many chances to play here. Actually it was related to Potter's individual decisions and we don't know what their future manager would like to do with him. Maybe he will be eager to give more chances to Aubameyang but it looks like he has made up his mind already. However there are some conditions for Barcelona to sign him again of course.

I wonder if this no transfer fee + reduced salary thing will be okay for Chelsea and him both. Because his contract ends June 30, 2024 so technically Barcelona can't offer a contract to him directly this summer. However Chelsea shouldn't make this a problem for themselves as Aubameyang's market value is only 7 million euros. In my opinion they can just let go of him for free as they are already a rich team.

I think his chapter at PSG is about to come to an end. Only if PSG tries to convince like they did with Mbappe then they have chance but otherwise I hardly think Messi will stay at PSG any more. As for Messi to Barca, they need to offload lot of players and cut back huge amount of salary to balance before Messi's arrival. I honestly think it will be perfect as well but not everything happens as you wish.

Barcelona has declined any connection with Lionel Messi. The coach has directly denied about any connection with Messi for a potential transfer to Barcelona.
But the media is just trying to get as much attention as they can. I also do not think that Lionel Messi is going to stay in PSG.
Regardless of how big the contract they offer. The Saudi League does seem to be a good destination for Lionel Messi.
Especially the money they are offering is absolutely ridiculous.

Newcastle's Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 25, is set to sign a new contract which would make him the highest-paid player in their history. The richest club in the world is clearly not saving on players this year  Grin
They have a big pocket and I understand why they want to give Bruno Guimares a good salary. Players always tend to move to big clubs and right now Newcastle is on a road to become a big club in future so they want to secure him for a long term. I wouldn't be surprised if they add a big release clause as well.

New Castle United is certainly spending a lot of money and considering the fact that they have performed really well in this season, I will say that they actually deserve to get that type of money.

Osimhen is only 24 years old and has a very promising career ahead of him. I'm sure he will have another successful season in Italy if he stays in Napoli, but I think he should always seize the good opportunities that come his way. So, if Real Madrid, the number one follower of the champions league cup, are interested in him, I think he should not say no and I think he would not say no to such an offer anyway. I've also seen a statement by the Napoli president that they're definitely not going to sell Osimhen, but I think it could be a bluff that heats up the market.
Have many teams interested for singing Victor Osimhen from Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid but not got rumor about linked Osimhen and Real Madrid. I don't think with Chelsea will priority because not participants in Champion League make him not interested yet for joining with Chelsea. Real Madrid is good option but he has looking forward about chance with starting eleven position because not easy compete with Karim Benzema has consistent performance. Seems moving to PSG is the best choose because he not find difficult with regular position there after Lionel Messi not extended contract and he can filled Messi's position there.
Indeed, there are good and bad when considering some of these clubs as Osimhen's career goals, but even though he is currently a star by being a key player for Napoli to win the Scudetto this season, it seems that the choice to join PSG will actually make him dim again. Talking about Osimhen before he came to Napoli, he had experienced the Ligue 1 competition with Lille and if he returned to Ligue 1 he certainly would not shine like this. So in my opinion the best option is to come to Real Madrid, it won't take long for him to replace benzema, we know that benzema's contract ends next year and that could be the right position for Osimhen as the next striker for Los Blancos.

I would also actually like him to stay in Napoli. After all, he is performing really well in Napoli. So it will probably be a little hard for him to adapt to his new team. I mean if he does decide to move. But at the same time, he is really young, and probably he will also want to take the chance of exploring a new team. I strongly believe that Napoli will try to keep him.
But at the same time, it is not going to be worth it to force him to stay if he does not want to. Osimhen surely wants to move because he is getting approached by a lot of big clubs. I can say that he is tempted.

But right now I believe he should only move from Napoli if he is actually getting good offers from English Premier League or any other really good competitive League. Don't take a step thinking the best has already been offered.  The offer also has to be from a really good team. Preferably a team that generally performs really well in champions League or at the very list is participating in the champions League

I cannot confidently say that Manchester United is going to be a good destination for Osimhen. I understand that Manchester United is improving right now. But I don't know if, in the next season, Manchester United will be able to perform consistently as well. I am actually saying that it is going to be better if he stays in Napoli instead of going to Manchester United.

It's high time Lionel Messi leaves Paris Saint Germany for good, isn't it clear the fans no longer wants him around? I'll love the move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal. Moving to Barcelona also would be a huge error.
I haven't watch Bruno Guimaraes really but then Newcastle currently boast to be one of the best defending sides in the Premier League currently, if so, he must have a role to play likewise.

Raphina to Arsenal, for a player that has always wanted to represent Barcelona? And his agent is also a former Barcelona legend, I don't think he has plans leaving the Spanish League.

I don't believe that money should be the deciding factor in a club's decision to sign a player they believe is qualified for a specific position if he is actually worth it. The asking price for Victor Osimhen is quite steep, but I'm sure any club that desperately needs him will find a way to finance it. I also believe that Napoli does not want him to leave now, after all that he has done for the club this season, including being one of the players to help them win their first league title in decades. He's still a young player, and whatever move he makes now will have a significant impact on his career.
I understand that Napoli would want to keep their star players together for another season, but if the player is open to move and his release clause is activated, I don't see why Napoli would want to stand in his way after what he has done for them. I hope he understands that occasionally ideal moves do not pan out as planned; I would personally like him to stay in Napoli for another season.

Chelsea is not the right destination for Victor Osimhen right now. I know they are a big team, but if the state they are in then it's like a gamble on his career. No matter how well he plays, if the team as a whole is unreliable then his good play will be wasted. Many teams want him, he has to really consider everything.
stop spreading this speculative news, osimhen is not going to chelsea, even the president of napoli said that for now they will not sell osimhen, he was bought expensively from lille to make napoli a tough team for napoli

I personally support the decision made by the president of Napoli, because if he wants his team to come back strong and dominate the Italian league for the next few seasons, he has to keep osimhen at the club because it's not easy to get a striker like him now

I think Napoli still has to chance to keep Osimhen for another season, the owner of the team seems to like to see his team become successful in the champions league and Serie A, Also I think due to the situation of this player and his age, they can even sell him for a higher price if they let Osimhen be in Napoli for another season and earn more achievements.

The Napoli president has already assured that he will not sell Victor Osimhen even in the face of continued interest from Manchester United... technician.
But it's not just United who are in this fight, as Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest.

Vitctor Osimhen has established himself very well and today he is one of the most sought after strikers in Europe and several clubs are monitoring his progress even before this summer and I doubt Napoli will be able to hold on to him with so much buying pressure.

If a release clause is part of the contract, there isn't any chance for Napoli to keep the player after unilateral deciding so.

Now I am not a friend of this "what the player has done for the club". You could also argue the other way around and the fans that carried him, gave him energy to score more and more. That's really not a valid argument. But I see a different problem and that is when these top players want something, they get it by force. They are injured, have mental problems out of a sudden, don't come to the training sessions, literally sabotage the team cohesion and so on and so forth.

If Osimhen can get the double the salary somewhere else and go to a top club, it is not unlikely that that will happen. Look how much Mbappe was able to push PSG financially. That is outrageous after he seemed to have given his word to Real Madrid already, but then took the 200 million in cash for signing the new contract.

Lewandowski same thing, or Ronaldo at Manchester United. Does anyone really believe that he wasn't talking with the Saudis for quite some time already before he gave the interview? In any case, the player has more leverage over the club than vice versa.

Mason Mount is still a target for Liverpool now. Chelsea don't look like they are intending to keep him for long years. Mount has been willing to stay as long as he gets a proper offer as well. But if things go on like this it looks like Liverpool will be signing him this summer. Liverpool must be wishing to increase the number of good alternatives in the attacking line.

However I wonder if Mount can start playing like before after joining them. Actually he is still very young so why not? It depends on Klopp to find the right role for him and give more chances.
It's true that Mount has been on Liverpool's radar for a while and I think that's pretty good considering Liverpool are currently lacking an attacking midfielder, it seems Mount is a perfect fit for that. But a few days ago Liverpool also expressed interest in bringing Mac Allister from Brighton to Anfield, I think one of the players who brought Argentina to win the world cup last year was also very good for Liverpool, even Liverpool did not hesitate to speed up the deal soon, but the results will be still waiting at the end of june. Liverpool has also submitted a proposal and is currently still waiting for the next process. Maybe we will be served by some extraordinary transfers from Liverpool and even though they failed to get Bellingham, I think at least they have not given up on getting other players.
