PSG want Messi to stay and have presented him with the best financial offer available from a Champions League club. So the Messi saga continues. What will he decide in the end? Will he stay at PSG or will he go to Saudi Arabia? Or go back to Barcelona? Emotionally, he is certainly most connected to Barcelona, but financially?

I think his chapter at PSG is about to come to an end. Only if PSG tries to convince like they did with Mbappe then they have chance but otherwise I hardly think Messi will stay at PSG any more. As for Messi to Barca, they need to offload lot of players and cut back huge amount of salary to balance before Messi's arrival. I honestly think it will be perfect as well but not everything happens as you wish.

Newcastle's Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 25, is set to sign a new contract which would make him the highest-paid player in their history. The richest club in the world is clearly not saving on players this year  Grin

They have a big pocket and I understand why they want to give Bruno Guimares a good salary. Players always tend to move to big clubs and right now Newcastle is on a road to become a big club in future so they want to secure him for a long term. I wouldn't be surprised if they add a big release clause as well.

Tottenham may have to pay Bayern Munich £10m in compensation to secure Julian Nagelsmann as manager. It seems to me that Bayern made a very big mistake in this case and almost ruined their season.

They are now fixing things now with Tuchel. I personally don't think it was much of a big mistake. Lot of things are reported to have happened which led to Nagelsmann sack actually.

Osimhen being signed by Chelsea is too risky for his career because no one can tell if Chelsea will improve by next season or not, if their performance is still in this form their is nothing Victor Osimhen can do and it will cause is career some damages. Instead of  Chelsea he should get other options.
Chelsea has got nkuku from leipzig. There's no need to sign him from napoli As far as i know that if pochettino will become the next manager for chelsea and he will be also trying to return lukaku from intermilan back again to the stamford bridge.

chelsea has so many strikers but the only problem that has not yet answered is about how to make these strikers will able to use all if theor potential. Chelsea is always struggling with this problem since king drogbal was leaving from the club a long time ago.

This clubs tried so hard many times to get proper striker but they can't get any. I don't even know when this problem will be solved. Chelsea needs someone like drogba who has everything on him.
Osimhen is good but his price didn't even make sense. I don't even think chelsea will be spending beyond 100m. It's too crazy for this team.

I don't believe that money should be the deciding factor in a club's decision to sign a player they believe is qualified for a specific position if he is actually worth it. The asking price for Victor Osimhen is quite steep, but I'm sure any club that desperately needs him will find a way to finance it. I also believe that Napoli does not want him to leave now, after all that he has done for the club this season, including being one of the players to help them win their first league title in decades. He's still a young player, and whatever move he makes now will have a significant impact on his career.

I understand that Napoli would want to keep their star players together for another season, but if the player is open to move and his release clause is activated, I don't see why Napoli would want to stand in his way after what he has done for them. I hope he understands that occasionally ideal moves do not pan out as planned; I would personally like him to stay in Napoli for another season.

At this stage of Victor Osimhen's career it will be a big error if he chose to play for Chelsea Fc. Even if Chelsea fc happens to be his dream club, he should avoid them now and could come back later.
Osimhen really need to play in the Champions League in order to keep his motivation alive and especially at the peak of his career he is.

For Kvarastikhelia, he can go to Liverpool if they are interested in him but I doubt that Napoli can release Osimhen and Kvara the same time.
This season, Napoli has produced outstanding players in their division. Luciano Spalleti is the driving force behind the team's success.  He may not allow Khavicha Kvarastikhelia to leave the club base due to the critical role he provides. Victor osimhen is a superb striker whose dream it has always been to play for an elite team in the EPL. Victor can always be changed in every single game. The Nigerian-born striker improved his ability and never turned down offers from premier English Premier League clubs. Chelsea are in a strong position to sign him, but with the club going through a difficult period, they are still preparing on the traits of players they require in the club.
Chelsea is not the right destination for Victor Osimhen right now. I know they are a big team, but if the state they are in then it's like a gamble on his career. No matter how well he plays, if the team as a whole is unreliable then his good play will be wasted. Many teams want him, he has to really consider everything.
Chelsea as we all know have been badly awful this season but I don't think their poor performance is caused by the quality of players in the team because they have world class players but their main issue has been lack of a great managerial personnel.
If the management of the club decides to finally get it right and get a manager that can make the players play more of team football style of play then Victor Osimhen I think would fit in the team.

Mason Mount is still a target for Liverpool now. Chelsea don't look like they are intending to keep him for long years. Mount has been willing to stay as long as he gets a proper offer as well. But if things go on like this it looks like Liverpool will be signing him this summer. Liverpool must be wishing to increase the number of good alternatives in the attacking line.

However I wonder if Mount can start playing like before after joining them. Actually he is still very young so why not? It depends on Klopp to find the right role for him and give more chances.

To be honest, it's not about whether the club has become the right destination for osimhen or not. The main problem if napoli puts very big price for him which is didn't even make sense to pay 150 millions just for him.
Im feeling curious about possible for osimhen to leave from the club while he has very big clause release. Napoli has stated that if the club is willing to let him go as long as there was a team who can afford to play 150 millions which are impossible.

Sunday's gossip:

Paris St-Germain's Argentina forward Lionel Messi, 35, has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, a deal which would see 33-year-old Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo, leave.
Newcastle's Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 25, is set to sign a new contract which would make him the highest-paid player in their history. The richest club in the world is clearly not saving on players this year  Grin
Brazil winger Raphinha, 26, would consider leaving Barcelona this summer. Arsenal want the former Leeds player, with Chelsea and Newcastle also interested. A lot of interested clubs, but what will Raphinha decide in the end?

But it looks like both of these players are on the radar of some big teams already. Especially we see Osimhen more on the news. It doesn't look like Napoli can keep them both here. Osimhen seems more likely to leave these days. Kvaratskhelia was a target for Liverpool before and I wonder if they still have some interest in him.

We got rumors this winter of a push from Chelsea for Spalletti and Osimhen.
If they came with real money they probably leave.

I'm guessing his price will be around 130m €

I think Napoli still has to chance to keep Osimhen for another season, the owner of the team seems to like to see his team become successful in the champions league and Serie A, Also I think due to the situation of this player and his age, they can even sell him for a higher price if they let Osimhen be in Napoli for another season and earn more achievements.

Chelsea still not announce yet about new manager for next season because Frank Lampard contract until this season ended, have been three candidate become Chelsea manager from Luis Enrique, Julian Nagelsmann and Mauricio Pochettino but two last have been eliminated and left with Pochettino.

Primer League season 2023/2024 will begin on 15th June and Chelsea has many time for preparing new manager, I think management should announce it before Primer League this season ended and new manager have enough time preparing with his tactician and get more space for recruiting new players.
Chelsea are now very close to a Pochettino era, it is obvious that Frank Lampard will not continue in managerial role for Chelsea in the coming season which leaves the seat open for Pochettino to take over with talks progressing quickly and close to the final stages of negotiations. I think at the moment he is the only candidate in position for the job at the moment and favorite to take over.

The problem of Chelsea is not bringing it top players, as far  Todd Boehly still makes decisions on the team should play Chelsea will always perform badly. Chelsea coaches since Todd Boehly succeeded the former owner have been able to record any achievement just because they ate not allow to do their job as a coach.

What are you talking about? chelsea is still owning so many top players in the club. Don't you know that there are some like silva, azpi and many more? The only problem was in coach and some players that were not getting regular time to play.

Todd was making too many interfere to the club. He shall stay away from doing it. Chelsea needs to run by its legs. Todd shall not need to make another intervention again to the club.

I heard that pochetti will become a new manager for chelsea. This is good as long as todd boehly will not repeat the same mistake again.
Todd is very bad right now. he has now knowledge about football. He was only disturbing his own club with his decision.

I don't even think if todd will be taking the risk to buy him from napoli. it's likely that if this time chelsea will be more careful in spending its money.
It was good for the club caused by chelsea is able re consider the decision for two or three times before try to say yay or nay.
Nope, I don't expect Chelsea to spend more money for looking for a new player. I think they will buy Joao Felix because he's only a loan status in Chelsea, in the next 2 months Felix will back to Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid is good in business, Felix's market value is 55 Million Euros, they might ask for crazy bid like above than 80 Million Euros. This will make Chelsea have no choice, but they have see Felix is quite fit in Chelsea.
Felix performance during loaned in Chelsea is not too impressive that 3 goals from 17 matches in all competitions seems not good records because he can do better at Atletico Madrid before and rumour say Chelsea will permanent him this summer moreover Felix feel comfortable to playing at Chelsea compared to Atletico Madrid

In my opinion i don't think return to Atletico Madrid could be good option for Felix because before he loan to Chelsea Felix has bad relationship with Atletico Manager Simeone so although Atletico owner said they want to bringing back Felix this summer but it's risky for his career because previously he has made a conflict with Simeone and probably if Felix stayed on Atletico this summer and not moved to other club i think most likely he will spend his time on the bench because Atletico performance is much better without him

I wonder who will be the next Chelsea coach to navigate next season. Because they have to prepare from now to get a deal. Frank Lampard, who served as a substitute coach, in fact has not been able to restore Chelsea's performance, in fact, in his hands, they continued to get unsatisfactory results at all. Chelsea will definitely be careful to determine who they will bring in. The reason is they must be traumatized if they are too hasty, as they experienced before.

But actually when I went back to Poche I didn't think it would be good considering the current state of Chelsea and actually I still feel that Poche's quantity is still below.
I still agree with them looking for something else instead of having to make a decision with Poche.

The current conditions are still good enough to make some deals, it's just that I still hope Todd is not in a hurry with this.

Yes, of course they will really consider the next coach candidate for Chelsea this time. Even though during this season there have been frequent changes of coaches, it seems that the results are very far from good and this must be resolved before next season starts. Frank Lampard has not been able to make the Blues public believe in him, even the series of defeats since he was at Chelsea brought continuous disaster and he had to accept the reality of being in the middle of the board. Maybe we will see something different from Chelsea next season and I am really waiting for the revival of one of the big clubs from England.
At least the recent victory kept Chelsea a little hopeful, although in this case I still haven't seen anything, especially with the remaining opponents they will face in the last 4 matches.

They did nothing wrong in terms of players, but their mentality and poor management structure made this a little complicated for Chelsea.

Bayern Munich made a big mistake when they fired Nagelsmann this season and maybe they had better luck with Nagelsmann in the champions league right now Nagelsmann is a coach with offers from Tottenham and other teams I think if he joins Tottenham for the next season and has achievements with this team Bayern Munich will feel regret because of getting him fired.

If spurs wanna get him and levy shall have spent lots of money for him.

Quote
Tottenham Hotspur face having to pay an expensive compensation bill to land top target Julian Nagelsmann as the club’s next permanent head coach, but may at least have some form of European football to offer him. Sources believe the compensation bill Bayern would be due for Nagelsmann could run past the £10million mark and the 35-year-old was on a big salary at Bayern, making him the most expensive option for Spurs and Levy.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2023/05/06/tottenham-julian-nagelsmann-next-manager-compensation/

Totenham thinks if the club already found the perfect coach for the club but the main problems was not in the coach but in the players itself. Totenham's players are having a weak mentality. As conte said if totenham needs to rebuild its mentality again.

The competition for the next session becomes even stricter. let's see whether levy is willing to pay his compensation bill or not.
It's a very hard decision for totenham at this moment.

Injuries might be Zlantan Ibrahimovic issues at the current state
But he is really ready to fight for his spot
Bringing him back to the first eleven when they go against inter milan is what I long to see
Injured issues bring big impacts, a player can't have time to play regularly and he may lose the best form. If Ibrahimovic forces himself to play as a professional player, he may end up sitting on the bench many times. During the current season, we rarely saw him play as a starter. It will happen again for the next season. So, I think it is not a good idea to return him to the first eleven.

I prefer to see him on the coaching staff now, he can learn a lot to become a coach in the future. In terms of ability, I see Ibrahimovic has the potential to become a coach.
Yep. Ibrahimovic should have the ability to be a good coach. So, he can start by joining AC Milan coaching staff. It will be interesting if he becomes the trainer of AC Milan strikers.

Chelsea need a world-class target striker who can lead the team. Lautaro Martinez is a hardworking striker, but I don't think he can be the leading player of Chelsea as a target striker. Also, there are those who compare Lautaro Martinez to Gonzalo Higuain in terms of talent (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0HLGuQ71bs). Smiley Sometimes he is ineffective in some net positions in the penalty area. I don't think he would be the right name for Chelsea. I hope they use the transfer season efficiently. I think they made some bad decisions last year.
With the recruitment of average coaching staff, he will just be nothing other than just another flop as well. I think Chelsea's problem stretches deeper than just the need for a top class striker because they have had top class strikers in Aubameyang or Lukaku and yet the failed to completely deliver according to Chelsea's expectations.

honestly i don't even know what Aubameyang was doing at chelsea, he doesn't even play at chelsea, even the team playing badly he hardly plays, so what the hell was he doing at chelsea? in my opinion Aubameyang destroyed his career the moment he went to play for chelsea, I hope that Aubameyang manages to leave chelsea and go to a team where he can play regularly, there is no point in continuing at chelsea, even with coming of lampard was not enough to put Aubameyang playing regularly, probably another coach who comes will also forget about Aubameyang. and since he doesn't even play, his market value will be low

and no good team will want him, my question is who will risk going to train chelsea, any coach who will train chelsea will destroy his reputation, because he will not be able to bring good results, it seems to me that chelsea's management has interfered in the management of players, so it is difficult for a coach, I did not see the sense of all those signings, and now what will they do with so many players who do not contribute with anything and were very expensive signings that I doubt that even if they sell these players it will not be the same price chelsea paid, chelsea's mistakes are very serious, they need to get rid of many players and sign other players
