Manchester city is a complete team that have all the stars in the world,they have shown it now that most of their best players left the club to another club after winning trebble for the club.They now have a couple of new players who were on the bench waiting for the least opportunity to show to the world how good they are,an example of that person was Cole parmer that left City to Chelsea.He came on against Arsenal and scored a goal,he was so good, and to me,he was the perfect replacement to Debruyne,but the coach saw things from another perspective,he sold him to a premier league team,and they still have other players who can still deliver thesame way he was doing in the two games that he played.
Manchester City have the best team in the world,therefore,it is possible to keep a consistent record in the champions league,as long as Pep is still the manager of the team.

If it was about any other coach I would probably agree with you, but I think Pep Guardiola can also be a bit unpredictable and he is a coach who also follows the moment and emotion. If he feels that his time at Manchester City has come to an end, I think things could quicker than expected and he could indeed be gone. I didn't think he would ever leave Barcelona given what kind of players he had available because which coach would just leave a club of that calibre back at the time?

But I think his time as a national coach will come. He has really earned enough money can freely choose what to do next and still earn very well also as a national coach. Modric is a game changer, how they were able to convince him to stay shows how relevance he is to the club and it's not surprising because despite his mate all left the club, he is still around improving Real Madrid style. However, I think Modric is made to be more of assists than goal scorers while Bellingham should be a prioritize as striker if he improve his game in Real Madrid. Modric only have few years if not less than 2, because if indeed they want him for long time, the last contract he signed would have been for long period but was just a year contract that will last until June 2024. As I said before, it will be a 50/50 chance whether he will get a new contract extension or not. We have also seen several players who have always gotten the main place slowly released by Real Madrid, one of which is due to the age factor.
