I thought Pochettino was too confident after overhauling Chelsea by selling players and keeping bad players. Now, whether Pochettino likes it or not, he has to realize that his hopes of achieving an ideal position in the Premier League are not as easy as when he led PSG which was full of star players. The bitter reality experienced by Chelsea is not over yet, Tod Boehly seems to be increasingly closing his ears and eyes to the reality of the club he manages. If Chelsea wants to return to its best form, the main thing that must be done is to remove Tod Boehly from ownership of the club.
At this point i don't know who's to be blamed for Chelsea's misfortune, if it's either the club owner, manager or players but I can say that they didn't really spend on the right players cause not everyone they brought in suit the style of play of the club however i won't hesitate to say that what chelsea really needs is time they need to give the manager and their players more time to blend, instead of sacking him so early and making it the 3rd since their owner arrived, for instance when Pep came in to Manchester City and overhauled the team, if you notice they didn't really perform very well that season we began to see very good performance from them the next season and think same situation could work at Chelsea currently and with time well see chelsea winning matches they're supposed to win with ease, also removing Todd Boehly is currently is not gong to come easily or very fast cause i think there are certain rules that comes with changing full ownership of a club with a very short period of his arrival.
I do not understand what is the problem with Chelsea authority. They can spend hundreds and thousands of millions for players, but they cannot spend enough money for a good coach! ! How does that make sense? And how are the players going to perform well if they do not have a good coach? We have already seen what PSG did without having a good coach, but a very good squad. They were not able to perform as expected even though they had great players in the team.
I thought Chelsea would take a lesson from that and will be able to bring a good coach that will have experience in managing big clubs for a long period of time. But they did not change the coach that they had. Why they do not change the current coach? They are not getting the results anyway.
Pochentino is the coach who was recently hired, he is in charge this season, he would not change the entire team and get good results immediately, that is not possible. and it takes time to build a good team, just look at guardiola and manchester city, guardiola took many years to make manchester city win the champions league and even in his early days he didn't immediately win the premier league and a lot of things. He had patience and time to build a good team. That's why in my opinion you have to leave Pochentino for at least 2 years organizing the team, if after 2 years Chelsea continues to be a team that can't beat big premier league teams and doesn't have the level to win the premier league, So at that point they could fire the coach
a newly formed team with a new coach, they don't get synchronized immediately, they need a lot of training and game time, from what I could see Chelsea have improved significantly compared to where they were last season, but they still have a lot of work, probably in the next window of transfers, Pochentino will correct some mistakes such as hiring good attackers and not spending a lot of money on meaningless signings in attack and sometimes on players that I honestly don't even see a reason for them to have. I wonder if Chelsea can make any profit with all the money they spend on players
Real Madrid might extend Modric's contract according to some rumours. However I don't think this will happen. Maybe Kroos would stay for one more season at least. But Modric is way older than him now. I think it is time for Real Madrid to part ways with Modric and give more chances to younger midfielders.
But I must really admit that Modric is still doing really good. It has been a great joy to watch him at Croatia recently. He can still have even more than a full match on the pitch as we have seen him play for 120 minutes for Croatia recently.
They are Legends of Real Madrid for they can stay a year further together in with Real Madrid. Real Madrid can now let go of these players who have made history together with the club.
Modric is a smart midfielder for Real Madrid. Leading the Croatian side and to be runner up during the Last two world cup games. Modric cam still.do same but not to the Croatia way no more.
It's funny that real madrid has a lot of good players in midfield but in attack it seems like they don't have much interest in improving, we can even talk about very old players having to make room for others because they have a lot of good players who are old and new in the midfield. But I'm wondering why Real Madrid didn't do the same thing in attack? What will happen to Real Madrid if Rodrigo, Vincius and Joselu get injured? who will play in the attack that could produce the same performance as these players who in my opinion do not have a great performance but are helping the team to win, but the question is that with this squad real madrid will hardly win the champions league and will have difficulties in the league
