I had a whiff of something about De Gea taking a deep cut in his wages a while ago and something like that. It really must be tough for him as United are now making things hard for De Gea to agree on a contract extension if it is actually true. Surely must feel bad when club is turning back on the goalkeeper who served them long.
Well I suspect that Manchester United want to complicate the contract extension but verbally they have to want it from De Gea's part to resign so there is no impression where Manchester United to refuse because he is a loyal goalkeeper but in the end it is not sweet what is in feel De Gea.
In my opinion, it must not be an issue when it wasn't when they got Antony and Sancho. Since it will be a bidding war with Bayern if *United* joins, United might want to speed up the negotiations if they really seek the player. Kane is perfect striker and he will score goals wherever he will go. As for United, they will need to switch some positions for Kane to fit in but I feel like if he joins United then they will have the missing block puzzle in the squad.
I know that these two players are getting a high price from Manchester United, especially Antony, who is close to 100 million, I think this is not an obstacle for them if they still want him, you are also right where the negotiation process can be faster before Bayern Munich can increase the offer that Spurs want, regarding the goalscorer I have no doubt, Harry Kane, he has always been a good spearhead when at Spurs.
