Al Nassr have sacked head coach Luis Castro after recent poor results

The main candidate to become the new manager for Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates is Stefano Pioli.

Discussions underway between Pioli and Al Nassr 🇮🇹

You forgot to mention an interesting fact. Castro got sacked after claiming he was never sacked in 28 years of his career. It seemed to me that if Saudi tries to prove that they are more than Castro. And at this point, Castro indirectly asked Saudi to sack him.

Also, it would be good for Milan if Pioli signs a new contract with Al Nassr. So they can get rid of his contract and won't have to pay his wages for a season.

Galatasaray worked very hard to sign Adrien Rabiot. He refused because he was expecting offers from clubs like Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid. But those clubs were not interested in him. Finally he returned to his country. His mother is his agent. Galatasaray fans criticized his agent for rejecting the offer he received from Galatasaray. I have friends who think he didn't want to come to Turkiye because of his mother. I think his mother is only doing some things on paper. If Adrien Rabiot wanted to come to Turkiye, I don't think his mother could have blocked this transfer.
Maybe he doesn’t consider a move to Turkey as top priority and wanted to wait to see if offers will come from other top clubs in the best five European leagues. Sometimes these process take time and rushing into decisions could end up in regret, I think he was just taking his time while waiting to see if eventually better options come. According to Fabrizio, Olympique de Marseille has signed a deal with Rabiot.

The Al Nasser management team took a right decision by the sacking of their head coach,Luis Castro. We all saw how Al Nassr flopped last season, even when they had the opportunity to have become the Saudi pro league champions last season, And so far, the result isn't still not very interesting, So there was a need to take this drastic action they took, to prevent the club from falling apart, as currently they have played three (3) games, and occupying the seventh (7) position in their league table with a total of 5 points very far from where they're supposed to be found in the league table.

Arsenal didn't pursue the player seriously so they failed to get the player and I also see that Arsenal are trying to maximize the players they have.
There is no player that Arsenal have really seriously approached and maybe you are right as you say because Arsenal are not in a position to pursue any player and they have a much more potential squad now.
Chelsea have tried to make an approach and maybe the chances are much bigger and from what we see Chelsea are much more likely because they have the money to make the purchase.

The agreement between the club and the player often gets into trouble so that the club that intends to recruit him decides to back out.
I remember how Osimhen's drama and he failed to move to another club because there was too much drama and finally he was loaned out instead of being sold.

I am quite sure that Arsenal actually wanted Osimhen's services, it was reported that Arsenal had made a proposal offer at that time. However, no agreement was made due to the very high release clause. Then Arsenal returned to consider Viktor Gryokeres, for some reason Arteta and Edu's plans were not continued to bring Gryokeres to the Emirates. Although it was reported that Arsenal had submitted an offer. However, in fact there was no pure striker that they finally brought in this transfer window. For Osimhen, I am sure that Arsenal really wanted him, because they needed a sharp and consistent striker to compete for the domestic League trophy. Regarding Viktor Gryokeres, the news is not very clear. Moreover, most of the rumors from the media are less reliable in their reporting. Talking about Osimhen, he is now a Galatasaray player even though he is on loan. There is no other drama, besides the transfer window has ended.

Jamal Musiala is currently 21 years old, and he is having contract until end of 2026 with Bayern Munich most chances we will have extension before end of this contract because he already announces he doesn't want to leave club in near future despite few English clubs are interested to bring him in Premier League currently Barcelona is having no budget to have player like him so most chances if he will be leave German giants then we will have any English club for his future in soccer.

Investment wise Chelsea benefit from that guy because they had Musiala as free agent and never used him and yet they sold him well for 200k and yet Bayern see him like something they need even though when his injuries were mid and short term recovery until 2 years later they later gave him a good chance and his representing the club well. Considering his age, he will stay back as long as Bayern is ready to make use of him, anything outside here might not look juicy but he need to step up his game.

Quote
Liverpool is currently front-runner for his future, but situation is not clear because he is doing good at Bayern Munich and as they are having start of their season things are clearly indicating we will have good title race between top contenders in Bundesliga, but this future sensation is surely having good future he needs to do things wisely because any wrong decision can bring problems for his career.

If Liverpool get him good for him but that club sometimes is shit show, they have this habit of signing up a player only to be dumpnon bench pending till there is a substitution need or an injured player. Musiala is having a good time in Bayern. If he is not sure about the terms for playing, he better stay in Bayern and enjoy his life. However, maybe Liverpool will not exhibit such behaviors again since it does happened during the time of Klopp.

I don't think Musiala will go to Barcelona because Barcelona is in a critical period financially right now. They can't afford the transfer fee they will pay him, and the player has receivables. Considering the contract and bonus clauses, they can't afford the large salary they will give him. I think he should continue his career with Bayern Munich. Barcelona may not be the right decision for him, as I said, Barça doesn't have the money to buy him anyway.
Exactly I was also thinking that Jamal Musiala wouldn't have to go to Barcelona. Apparently Barcelona administration has already finished with finical criticism while Jamal Musiala is $110 million+ in value which is too big for Barcelona to pay for him. Barcelona have extreme finical criticism they don't have much more money for such kinds of players. There is no doubt that Jamal Musiala will stay at Bayern Munich because Bayern Munich already considered him a key player and fans loved him so much. They will not let him leave the club.

For me this rumor is just fake news. Barcelona didn't have any chance to sign him. Firstly they didn't have any place for Jamal Musiala to play him on the starting sheet because they have a lot of players in a squad. So therefore it will be too hard for Jamal Musiala to take a place in the starting lineup. So be honest it is just fake news.

Napoli want Alex Meret to extend his contract because they consider him as an important goalkeeper, but this reminds me of Osimhen situation last season where Napoli also said the same thing but how did it end? for now there is no interest from any club interested in Alex Meret plus he still wants to be with Napoli. One thing I am worried about is Napoli management can change their mind anytime and Conte can easily play any player to be dropped from the main squad.

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1835781562488807846
I agree with you. Napoli wants Alex Meret to stay but I am not sure they mean it. Last season they said same thing about Osimhen and look what happened.
Right now no other teams want Meret and he wants to stay at Napoli. But I worry that Napoli management might change their minds suddenly.
New coach Antonio Conte is known for making tough decisions. If Meret does not fit his plans Conte can not hesitate to bench or transfer him.
Napoli should be honest and clear when negotiating Meret contract. Meret deserves to know where he stands. Only time will tell if Napoli truly wants Meret or if this is just temporary promise.

We have the same thoughts about the sweet words coming out of Napoli, whether it's a coincidence or Napoli can't be trusted with their words. Imao if there are big European clubs who are very interested in buying Alex Meret, my advice is that it is a more reasonable choice to take. In football sometimes players have to challenge themselves with new and different situations. Whether his career will be much better or not in the future depends on his determination and interest to develop better at his new club. I would like Alex Meret not to be quick to renew the contract offered by Napoli.

I also think Meret should not accept the contract right away. Because they sent away Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker who made the biggest contribution to the championship. They are cruel to the players. If the contract is extended, Meret has to wear the Napoli jersey for many years. If he wants to transfer to a team that Napoli does not want, they will prevent him from transferring to that team. I think they are risky moves.

Do you believe that Osimhen will score his first goal in this match? just checked out this betting option and it seems the market is predicting he will do it 1.59 for this bet, not interested?

Looks like Fabrizio Romano took that bet on Stake. He tweeted that Victor Osimhen scored but that is not accurate. The ball didn’t come off Osimhen’s head so the goal was not given to him. Unfortunately Victor Osimhen couldn’t score as you predicted but had an assist to his name. I’m sure the Galatasaray fans will be very pleased with this outcome. The Turkish League will be fun to watch with Osimhen playing this season.
Since Victor Osimen has performed well in the Italian league, it will be easier for him to do well in the Turkish league. He has performed well in recent matches for Galatasaray. It was not everyone's plan that this player would play in the Turkish league, but in the end, the unexpected happened. It must be said that Galatasaray took a chance. They were able to sign this player to their team very easily by paying a relatively high amount of money where other European clubs were looking to sign this player. Victor Osimen will be a great contributor for this club throughout the season, not only scoring goals but helping other players to score regularly.
The quality of the Turkish league with Serie-A is slightly different and it seems that Osimhen will be more free to be a predator for Galatasaray. However, to achieve a great career seems to be closed for Osimhen, he will most likely not be glanced at again by big teams in Europe. In my opinion, the opportunity for the Nigerian striker would be different if he chose to join the Premier League or La Liga. But I still respect Osimhen's decision and hope he can perform phenomenally so that he can get attention again from big European teams.

I think Napoli will extend his contract because there are no goalkeepers are better than him and the transfer window is already closed. They do have Elia Caprile, but he never played since Napoli signed him, while the other one is an amateur.

There's no clash between Meret and Conte, so there's nothing need to worry about.
Alex meret contract expires at the end of June 2025 later so the current situation allows him can to negotiate with other clubs, Meret has spent 6 seasons with Napoli and I don't think he is a very good goalkeeper to keep by Napoli so far, Conte only have 3 goalkeepers in squad so far and two of them are reserve goalkeepers who just returned from loan last season, Although he is the main goalkeeper of Napoli at the moment but I think his position is not secure at Napoli considering Conte desire to sign another goalkeeper in the winter transfer market later, his performance under the Napoli goal so far has not been good enough and we can see how disappointed Conte is when he made a lot of mistakes when they lost to Verona at the beginning of the this season, meret is one of the goalkeepers in demand by Intermilan and they are reportedly prefer waiting to recruit meret with a free transfer status which will indeed happen in June 2025 later.

Musiala only get paid for 5 Million Euros lol, while other players who have a same skill like him get paid at least 15 Million Euros. If Bayern Munich not willing to increase his salary 5x than now, I'm sure Musiala will join other teams. Better for him to join Manchester City since he need to compete with Bellingham and Guler if he join Real Madrid. Kevin De Bruyne is already old, so Musiala can take his place.
Salary issues are quite sensitive for any player, therefore Bayern Munich should not take the wrong steps regarding Musiala. He deserves a salary increase, his contribution to the club is extraordinary, in the last 2 seasons Musiala has contributed 22 goals and 16 assists so it is only right that the club management treats the same thing regarding salary with other players or even more if possible. Believe it or not if this problem is not resolved, the next season transfer market could shake Musiala loyalty when there is a much more reasonable offer and appreciates his career. Cheesy

I remember it correctly, Meret has one year option in his clause with Napoli. He can extend his contract for one more season(2025). And i think he will not be ended in same way like Osimhen. He impressed from the start of the season. He has made 2-3 good saves per match since the start of the competition. In the end, no doubt they wanna hand him a new contract.

Jamal Musiala is a Bayern Munich player and we are talking about Manchester City or Real Madrid trying to buy him. That is the risk Bayern Munich is facing at the moment as Musiala is performing very well and he is in a great situation to look forward to any negotiations and get the most out of it. With his contract ending in 2026, it means that next summer there is only one year of contract duration left and Bayern Munich has to make a final call. Either pay him the highest salary ever paid in the Bundesliga or let him go. And even then their situation isn't the best as Musiala could choose to stay for one more year and then leave as a free agent. That is why my guess is that Bayern will indeed offer him quite a bit more than 20 million per year. If that doesn't work, I don't know what other choices they are left with as letting Musiala go without getting a transfer fee is probably no option for them.

De Bruyne is currently playing Musiala's position for Manchester City, but apart from that I think that Musiala will take his time before he signs any contract since Bayern Munich is forced to do something about it or otherwise his contract will simply expire. That's surely not in their own interest.

The current salary is of course based on the fact that he signed a long-term contract a few years ago. It is quite normal that players who out of a sudden develop into superstars are still earning the salary that they signed the contract for. He is 21 years old and he knows that his next contract will be crazy. He is in good form at the moment and nobody can pressure him into taking action. Bayern Munich can't pressure because if they say that they will otherwise sell him, he doesn't need to care as he knows that so many clubs after after him.

I think the next contract will be at least 20 million euros. Everything else would be quite surprising and the rich clubs will drive the price up anyway. But Bayern Munich would be out of their minds if they are not ready to pay him pretty much whatever he asks for. He has a long and very promising way to go as a professional.

Antonio Conte knows what to do towards making top choices for his club. Napoli management happens to be very unpredictable following the shown signs already. The exact same scene for Victor Osimhen who banged vast numbers of goals for Napoli thereby persuading them to win the Scudetto, but what did they do to him? They broke the relationship with the player and excluded him out of the club for irrelevant reasoning. Napoli have eyes for potential players, Alex Meret have compacted to the immense progress of the club. He's one of the solid goal keeper that have made brilliant saves for the club and wanting to exert more actions, let's see if he will extend his contract with the club.
I think Alex Meret wants to extend his contract with Napoli. Because he has played a lot of games in Napoli for a few years. Antonio Conte will give him the value he deserves. Also, Napoli will not have problems in the goalkeeper area for a few more years after extending his contract. The money given to the goalkeeper is always extra money because goalkeepers can stay in a team for a long time. If you find the right goalkeeper, you should not let him go from the team.

Of course Musiala will have a good career at Manchester city if Pep Guardiola stays beyond this season. With Kelvin arguably playing his last season with Manchester city Musiala will be a perfect replacement for him. But I don't think Bayern Munich will let him go just like that, unless the Bayern Munich coach don't see him as an important member of his future plans for the club. But if he is considered as important to the future of the club, they are definitely going to give him an improved contract that will increase his pay, unless the player himself wants to make the move. A player of his quality needs to be earning higher than he currently does at Bayern Munich. Everything lies with Pep Guardiola extending his contract with Manchester city because his contract expires in June. But he has hinted that he is likely going to stay further.

There are rumours that Rabiot is finally getting to a team, Marseille is getting more interested in him and they are looking at him as a good potential and we should probably see them changing this as well. I believe that Marseille is building a team that is getting seriously good, they are getting all the "unwanteds" together and building a team that is well beyond what they should be doing right now.

I think they figured out a way to actually beat PSG and while they probably won't be beating PSG and not win the league, they at least figured out a way how to cheaply get a way to get better results.

This is why I believe that the best thing to do right now would be just focusing on how to get better results, and that could very well be a good thing for them without a doubt. This way, they are not spending that much money and they are still getting the result that they want, this should be the most important part and still doing fine compared to others.
