If Benzema has advisors, this is the right time for him to be advised. He needs to leave Real Madrid at this very time and go to Saudi Arabia to make money. U mean, he would likely be depreciating in Real Madrid. He should bow out now that the overtion is high.
I did not see any reason he should remain in Madrid. He has actually won everything he needed to win in the Madrid.
He does not love Madrid more than Messi loved Barcelona, but at a particular time he had to path way. This is the best time for Benz to find his way out of Real Madrid.

I'm not sure about the information I'm reading, I confess that I'm a little confused because analyzing only the news with less than 24 hours, in one place I read that Benzema accepted an offer from Al-Ittihad and will leave Real Madrid after 13 years, and Benzema would even have warned coach Carlo Ancelotti and his teammates about this departure.
But then, elsewhere I read that Benzema will stay at Real Madrid, and fulfill his contract as agreed with the club and that only in 2024 he could go to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.

Anyway, I don't understand why Benzema would refuse to leave Real Madrid when he can break his contract early... 100 million euros a year at Al-Ittihad is a much higher amount than what he receives at Real Madrid. In fact, if even Cristiano Ronaldo went there (obviously, in other circumstances than Benzema) why wouldn't Benzema do it too?

Benzema situation seems to have been concluded. Because there is some news has come out on Transfermarkt like he is extending for one more season. I still can't be sure if this is the right thing to do for him. Because he has really achieved everything he can with Real Madrid. Especially the season before this one was like a dream for him. He reached the peak of his career individually. He was such a productive striker which made him win a Ballon d'Or prize later on. Besides he had a huge role in winning the La Liga and Champions League titles in the same season as well.

Now I believe it is absolutely the right time to leave and look for new adventures. Considering how big Al Ittihad's offer was Benzema should have taken the offer and put an end to the speculations in a nice way.

If Messi really decides to leave PSG, then Xavi will be able to convince him return to Barcelona, I remember how he did this with other players who are now in the team. But you are right, the team still has financial problems and this may be a reason for Messi not to return to Barcelona, although he really likes this city, his friends and family are there, and I am sure that his family also wants to return home.

This is even beyond the financial burden that the club will face. Will Messi be able to deliver as well as he has in the past if he returns to Barcelona? He's becoming older by the day, and his physical strength will steadily deteriorate, resulting in poor performance on the field.

By bringing Messi back now, I'm sure the club and the players will be reliant on him, and if he falls short of their expectations, the club will be devastated. In my opinion, he has served and contributed enough to the club; it is now time to go on and not return to his former team, not even out of pity.

You're asking if Messi can perform in Barcelona? He scored 21 goals and had 20 assist for PSG this season. This is in a team where he's not comfortable in and the team is not in good shape, but you're worried he might not perform in Barcelona?
He would do exploit at Barcelona. Messi might be getting old but he's still among the best players in the planet. There are not many players I'll pick over Leonel Messi. He may not have the energy and speed he once had but he has a lot of qualities to more than make up for that.
The only problem with Messi going to Barcelona is the financial situation Barcelona is in. Then there is also the fact that the team might rely on him again, which might halt or slow their rebuilding process. But if Barcelona can work on these two issues, then signing Messi is a big advantage to them

The biggest chance where Messi will play next season is Barcelona for sure. Comeback would mean a big deal for both Barcelona and Messi. He could play there for 1-3 years more max and thats it. Second option is Al hilal for sure with how the big the salary offer is. Third option is Inter Miami in the MLS but i think that isnt realistic at the moment. Good thing that he is leaving PSG he wasnt even at his best form or even close to it.
All still have conditions that are indeed fifty-fifty and this is indeed still possible to happen. but indeed I still feel that compared to Barcelona, the biggest possibility to go to the middle east league is still the most possible thing.
The condition of Barcelona still has a very big obstacle in terms of financial problems but on the other hand they can still get Messi with the note that they have to dare to gamble again like they did this season.

Having said that, in another news Rafael Leao has signed a new contract with AC Milan, thus he'd be in the club until 2028, except something happens along the way and he has to leave, this decision would surely make the AC Milan ultras happy, there were quite a lot of big clubs monitoring Rafeal Leao's situation, but he has made his mind up to stay.
It would have been a big loss to AC Milan to loose Rafael Leao that was rumoured to be linked with a move to Chelsea and at some point Arsenal. Rafael has developed into an important team figure for AC Milan, in the champions league knockout games that they played without him, it was obvious that a player was missing from the team. This new contract keeps him at the club and I am sure he is very comfortable to agree to have agreed to this new contract.
Indeed, in this case it will be a very big loss, but on the other hand, they will definitely estimate this with certainty because Leao's departure will also bring in quite a lot of money for the overhaul of the players they have, considering that from last season they are still having trouble doing things. it was because of his unstable financial condition.
Now it is up to them whether they will still retain Leao or sell at a high price so they can reorganize and patch up several positions resulting from the profit from the sale.

Xavi wants to hire Messi and since he has the experience of working with each other, I think Messi can have much better days if he comes back to Barcelona where he started shining.
Lionel Messi has experience playing for Barcelona for a long time under the leadership of Xavi. Once Messi Xavi had a great time for Barcelona in La Liga and now Xavi is the current coach of Barcelona. If everything goes well, then Messi will now have the chance to play under the leadership that Messi has played under.

If Lionel Messi returns to Barcelona, he will have a coach like a friend as well as his family, which will make him much stronger mentally. According to Xavi, he will take whatever steps are necessary to bring Messi back to Barcelona, but he wants Messi back at any cost. Hopefully the salary issue between Messi and Barcelona authorities will be resolved and Messi will return to Barcelona.
Lionel Messi who's arguably the best player that have ever graced the sport knows that Barcelona is more like his home than a just a football club he had once played for and would definitely be happy to return to home where's he's unconditionally loved by fans of the club.
But yesterday there were reports in the Spanish Media that suggest that Barcelona has not officially contacted Lionel Messi's managers to table their deal and offer for him. So since Barcelona hasn't approached him before now, it's very unlikely for Lionel Messi to go back Camp Nou

Rafael Leo has been an exceptional player this season, and despite receiving numerous offers from major clubs, he prefers to remain at San Siro Stadium and enjoy his playing time. Stefano Pioli, the Rossoneri manager, is satisfied with the quality of his team. The attacker revealed his contract renewal with AC Milan with extension until June 2028, which was inked three weeks ago. Finally revealed today, Milan made a solid decision by keeping the Portuguese player. It's time for Leão to prove his consistency in league games for AC Milan.

Maguire is still the club captain; he hasn't been playing as much as usual, but the captaincy hasn't been taken away from him. Unfortunately for him, he is constantly making silly avoidable mistakes, the pressure is always on him every time he plays, the fans have lost faith in him, and he is always out there trying to prove a point, and the more mistakes he makes, he needs to move to a club where he can rebuild his confidence, where the coach and fans will give him a fair chance. Maguire's time at Manchester United has come to an end, and I would be surprised if he does not go this summer. He is clearly not in the coach's plans for the upcoming season.

OK I didn't really pay attention whether he still was the captain, but isn't that kind of inconsequential by ten Haag? If it is obviously over for him and ten Haag has crossed him off the list in his mind already, why would you let him remain the captain until the season ends and also for so long? He could have made the cut and given someone else the chance? I am asking this because has ten Haag expressed his final decision already or is there still a chance for Maguire?
The problem is as you described. Once you are the focus of attention when mistakes happen, you can almost do nothing against it. Even when you are 20 meters away from the situation, everyone will say that the problem was that you were 20 meters away. That's why a new start somewhere else could be the best decision.

€5m/year + add-ons is a bit low for someone with his talents; he could easily earn twice as much elsewhere, but he chose to stay in Milan, which tells a lot about his loyalty.

His release clause is now €175 million, which means he'll be off the market for at least another three years.
When I see what happened to Oliver Kahn by Bayern Munich, Ramos by Real Madrid... I wonder what loyalty could add to someone. I just cited two examples and there is many other situations.
A player should secure his future in case of serious injury or any other unexpected thing. I respect his decision and loyalty but keeping himself out of reach with a very ridiculously high release clause is just annoying. It is worse than Kane situation last year in Spurs Lips sealed

This is difficult because even if bringing Messi back to Barcelona will affect the conditions in which La Liga will be highlighted again, especially for Barcelona from a sponsorship point of view which allows for additions when Messi is there which can bring more profits than sales but indeed we also have to be aware of expenses. what they do will also be bigger and even it is not impossible that the profit will only be able to cover Messi's salary.
On the other hand, Barcelona must also be aware of this, the dependency will be very large because indeed he used to be the backbone of this club so indeed things like this cannot be changed but expectations are too high now.
Messi's age, as you can say right now, is not young anymore, which makes it certain that this factor will affect regardless of anything because this is indeed the natural enemy of a soccer athlete.

I just don't understand these news sources. One of them says that Benzema has decided to stay with Real Madrid for another season. But another one which is ESPN here says that he is about to leave the team in a month to join Al Ittihad side. There is still around a month for his contract with Real Madrid to expire though. He can take his time to think about his future.

I think there is no need for him to stay from now on while he has a big opportunity to make a great deal of more money. He has achieved everything he can with Real Madrid so far in my opinion. Now he can think of a different journey for himself.

I think now is the right time for Benzema to leave Real. He played in an all conquering team, they ruled Europe/ his trophy haul at Real is ridiculously good. He’s not getting any younger though, Real’s cycle has come to an end, they have many players past their best. They are far from the best team in Europe now. Look what Man City did to them.

I’m not sure about going to Saudi Arabia, seems a bit dangerous to me, a very different way of life too. The money is great though I guess.

This condition is suspected to be the result of the press release by Benzema because even though he said he would focus on his career at Madrid, so far there has not been any confirmation regarding the new contract that Madrid has given this player.
But indeed this will be seasoning until the end I think because indeed in my opinion with the current conditions anything can still happen between Benzema and Madrid.

Messi would definitely be welcomed, Xavi is his long term friend and they probably already talked about what they would do together and how he would play etc etc. Dude would still be a great contributor in that team, and probably fit the system like a glove as well. However, finances will not be handled, I keep telling people that it can't possibly happen, how could Barcelona afford to get Messi? I mean he is not going to go there to play for 1€ just because its his team, and not like the league would allow that neither. Dude will want a ton of money and they do not have rights to spend ton of money on him, it will be illegal and he will have to just pick another team that can afford him. I can totally see Saudi Arabia as more likely option.

Regarding the salary issue, it seems that there has been talk going on between Messi and Barcelona. yes, that's the rumor I've read. unfortunately, I forgot the news media that reported it. referring to what Fabrizio Romano said in his tweet, Xavi: Leo Messi will decide his future next week. he has my 100% approval to join us "he knows we are ready to welcome him. nothing has changed, we have a chance. we want Leo here. let him decide, I am ready to put him in our system" said Mundo Deportivo.

Well, with what he tweeted, it looks like we will know Messi's decision after his last game with PSG. Messi could have preferred Al Hilal over Barcelona, because the nominal salary offered is fantastic. or, maybe Messi chose to end his career with the club that made his name. So, we just have to wait.

To be honest i am not really sure if the officials of FC Barcelona really want to bring Lionel Messi back to Barca. As you already said, he will turn 36 in a few weeks and he is definitely not in his prime anymore. I recently saw a few videos were it was obvious that in the last season he was still a great player, no doubt about that, but the time where it was pretty much impossible to take the ball away from him or to stop his dribblings seem to be over.
So to player a huge salary, which Lionel Messi would probably still demand, for a player that is not the same anymore is probably not really something that the officials of Barca are so keen to do. They should use this money otherwise and reduce their huge debts.

I would love to see how Messi will return to Barcelona and again drive it into debt, but unfortunately everyone understands the unrealisticity of this scenario. He literally has two real options: MLS and Saudi Arabia. In Europe, none of the clubs will pay him a salary corresponding to his status, simply because his game is already far from what the top clubs need.
