Saturday's transfer gossip:
Chelsea's owners do not see 29-year-old Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, currently on loan at Inter Milan, as part of their ongoing project, despite the club's lack of success in front of goal. Is this a good decision for Chelsea? Does this mean that Lukaku is returning to Italy again?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/64842620

Lukaku is not having a successful season in Italy. After the Premier League, he has the same problems in Serie A. He actually suffered an injury. That's why his performance is worse. But he is having bad seasons in a row in Europe's elite leagues. Now he will have to make a decision. He will either give up his salary and continue playing for big teams, or he will go to the clubs outside Europe that gave him this money. I think neither Chelsea nor Inter will want to sign him again. Lukaku is very close to pursuing his career outside of Europe.

Firmino will leave on a free status from Liverpool, this will be a bone of contention for several Premier League teams. Firmino's quality is recognized, and I think he is still very good to play in competitive leagues such as the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and others. Barcelona also need a striker, but Firmino's future has yet to be decided where he will go.
Roberto Firmino have announced will leave Liverpool at the end this season and become free agent player,  seems can't get regular position after arriving Darwin Nunez and spent more minutes in the bench make him not happy and not reach agreement extended contract. No doubt with Firmino quality and his achievement success give primer league and champion league tittle for Liverpool.

I think Serie A, La Liga or keep stay in Primer League still the best option for him trough 31 years old and potential for several years later on the top performance. I think Firmino not priority with Barcelona because difficult get regular position there and seems possible removed Lewandowski from regular position.

Recent rumors suggest that Arsenal are interested in signing Julian Brandt from Dortmund in the summer. We know Julian Brandt's role is so important this season by contributing 8 goals and 4 assists with Dortmund. He has a position on the left winger and that is good enough for Arsenal as a back-up for Martinelli if he is out or injured. I don't think Dortmund will let him go unless Arsenal increase his transfer fee.

Saturday's transfer gossip:

Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber said it will likely take a creative, David Beckham-like deal to land Lionel Messi, 35, but the league and Inter Miami are willing to be flexible to find the right compensation package in order to land the Argentina and Paris St-Germain forward. It seems that Messi is further away from PSG and Barcelona and European football.
AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus are all on "high alert" to sign Liverpool and Brazil forward Roberto Firmino after it was announced the 31-year-old will be leaving the Premier League club. Another great striker is leaving Liverpool, after Mane last season. Can Liverpool find a replacement for such a player?
Bayern Munich are set to push ahead with an offer to sign England striker Harry Kane, 29, from Tottenham this summer despite Cameroon striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, 33 signing a new contract. After so many years of playing for Tottenham, will Kane really go to play in another club and in another national league?

The puzzle about Firmino future has finally been answered, now Firmino has decided not to renew his contract with Liverpool anymore, reportedly Firmino will leave Liverpool at the end of the season and of course this news will be bad news for liverpool fans, after losing Mane, Liverpool performance continues declining and now one of their great players will also be leaving Liverpool soon, losing Firmino will certainly have a huge impact on Salah later appearance because so far Salah has always been supported and spoiled by bait provided by Firmino and Mane.

Firmino has been a great asset for Liverpool as he never complained and is probably one of the strongest strikers when he is coming from the bench to support his team with some new ideas and fresh power. He also has a decent scoring statistic, but he is going to turn 32. It is possible that Liverpool also is looking forward to the new season and planning on making some major changes to the squad.

Time has been running by quickly and Firmino is now in his 8th year for Liverpool. I think he will still keep playing on the highest level and will have no problem finding another interesting club that is also playing Champions League. There are a coupe of clubs looking for a new striker or a strong back up striker. I don't know whether Firmino would want to serve as a back up though during his last years on the highest level.

Indeed Firmino has always been a valued asset for Liverpool in his long serving years under the club and has contributed immensely to the growth and success of the club but just as everything has a beginning so do they have an end. I read on the net today that Firmino will be leaving on a free in the summer, clearly the club is evolving so as making changes to improve the squad for the coming season, he will definitely be missed.

Seems like a bad day for Manchester City today, we know hiring Erling Haaland was not easy for any team and he is an effective player for Pep Guardiola and his team. After his shinning performance in Dortmund Manchester City won the race and successfully signed a contract with this player while he could also score 27 goals so far for Manchester City just in the premier league but now today his agent said even with the contract they have still Haaland can leave this team.
https://www.goal.com/en/news/madrid-erling-haaland-s-agent-remark-magic-spanish-club-amid-man-city-future/bltf06a2eb17e2f018b

I think Erling Haaland has always had his eyes on the bigger clubs like Real Madrid and PSG, I also feel the whole idea of joining Manchester City was influenced by his father but the good thing is he is doing so well and living his dream at Manchester City until he decides to leave.

It could even be Liverpool since Firmino is leaving in Summer.
Yeah Firmino will leave Liverpool since it has been officially announced by Bobby Firmino’s agent Roger Wittmann [1] I think Klopp is making a mistake by not extending Firmino's contract because he's still 31 years old and he have a good decision as a striker.

Now Liverpool doesn't have a pure striker except Nunez, although Gakpo is currently played as a striker even he was a left winger.

Am not a Liverpool fan but I think these are players who I thought would retire from this club but after this news... I don't think players will be staying like the old timers did especially with the current mess the Reds are in.. Guess it's no longer about being a fan but the money you earn:(

I also believe it is a mistake for Liverpool to let Firmino go already. I mean Firmino started the season really great and even made a bigger contribution compared to the previous season.
This Liverpool mess started when Mane left and it seems to have continued, what really is going on at Anfield  Huh

€140M sounds like a lot but how often did we think that the amounts paid for transfers can't be real anymore? In this market nothing is surprising anymore and it depends on which club wants Osimhen. If it is a club like PSG they would pay whatever it takes. PSG is actually a good example because they have demand at the end of the season. They could need someone like Osimhen I think. But nobody knows what his personal preferences are besides money. Manchester City has Haaland. It could even be Liverpool since Firmino is leaving in Summer.
It's true, the value of such an expensive player is no longer surprising. Even in the past Neymar had a value of €200M, Coutinho €130M and there are many other players who also have the same market value. But Osimhen probably won't be much more, and suitors should be good enough considering the value and quality.

Brighton Albion are keen on keeping Moises Caicedo in the club. He have have signed a new contract with Brighton which will be valid until June 2027 with additional option for further season. It's definitely a big one for the Ecuador international with massive significant stipends rise. It was really a crucial action for Brighton to turned down gunners £70m and the blues £55m in the transfer window. The club have future for him and a key project for the club.
With his new contract and moises caicedo will not able to be bought by another club without a very big release clause. It seems like that once the big club want to secure his service and the club must have paid lots of money for brighton.
That's a very bad movement for him since he can get a better future by moving to the big club. Playing in brighton will not even make his career to go up but since he was taking such decision to extend his contract with brighton and im sure he has been thinking so hard about that. Some big clubs have targeted Caicedo in january but the problem was brighton didn't wanna to let him leave from the club without a very big release clause.

It seems like that his career will be stuck on brighton. He can play in another club to get trophy but staying in brighton will give him nothing for sure.

Zidane is the coach that PSG really hopes for, that's a rumor very often i read in several media. However, Zidane has a history with Juventus and there is an assumption that Zidane has a chance to coach Juventus too. When it comes to opportunities, I think Juventus have more opportunities than PSG. Returning to Madrid, it seems not, because there is a possibility that he will look for other club options. Chelsea? I'm not sure he will going to Chelsea.
I think Zidane is on the wishlist of most European top teams. Almost everyone will want an experienced and tactical coach like Zidane to manage their teams. PSG have been in search of the perfect coach to lead them to  their first Champions league title victory and Zidane ticks the boxes for the position but this deal happening depends on Zidane's willingness to accept a move which he has not made any clear intentions for the future known yet.

I also believe it is a mistake for Liverpool to let Firmino go already. I mean Firmino started the season really great and even made a bigger contribution compared to the previous season. I know he had a lasting injury period later on but he still seems like a very good option in the attacking line of the team. Him and Diaz are players that help Liverpool's productivity get better.

If he is leaving then I wonder if Liverpool are thinking of filling his place with a new attacker. Gakpo isn't a natural striker. Klopp is just trying different things in that area to see what would be better for themselves. Nunez is normally a productive striker but he needs to be better at scoring. He is consistent in the Champions League but not like that at all in the English Premier League.

The current market value for Victor Osimhen is €70M, it has increased greatly since Napoli bought him from Lille. It could be that Osimhen will fetch market value of over €100 at the end of the season or when Napoli renews his contract he is still very young for forward who will become a big star in such a giant team.
Yep. Osimhen's market value is around €70M. But Napoli won't let him go if there is no team to pay around €140M. It is the updated price expected by Napoli management, I don't know if it can be higher at the end of the season.
Of course that is fantastic value for Victor Osimhen. I'm not really sure if €140M is worth it for Osimhen, but the guy really has quality.

As a striker, I think Osimhen can play anywhere, including in La Liga or the Premier League. But Napoli don't have to sell him as soon as possible because they don't look like they'll be strong enough without Osimhen. After all Napoli must defend the title next season if they really win the Scudetto this season.

140 million is actually a very high figure to mention but the nature of market now, anything can happen. And if that happens Osimehn would be the most  expensive African player.
Mentioning Psg here is not good at all. Psg already has 3 heavy weight in the persons of Mbappe, Neymar and Messi. Minting these 3 players only is very expensive and I don't think that fifa rule will permit psg to sign another player without selling

Zidane somewhere stated publicly that he is ready to coach a club again when everything is looking great. That was to be expected.

That he denied Brazilians offer or request isn't surprising. I don't think that Zidane is the guy who wants to have long distance travels all the time out of Europe. He seems to be a very relaxed yet focussed guy who exactly knows what he wants. And to be honest he can actually get what he wants as the soccer player he was and then all the success he had with Real Madrid. His behavior is backed up with full credibility. I initially thought that Chelsea might not be a club for him, but if they keep improving the squad at full speed, perhaps it is possible that next summer we will see him coaching Chelsea.

I'm not sure he will going to Chelsea.

I would definitely rule out the option that Zidane goes to Juventus Turin right now. Unless Juventus Turin gets all their issues solved in regards to the legal allegations and also the qualification for the Champions League, there is no way that Zidane would assume a manager role at Juventus.

Zidane is a patient guy. He knows how to poker and get the best for himself. Why would he take on additional risk at Juventus Turin when so many other clubs are knocking on his door? Even if this season ends ok for Juventus Turin, how does Zidane know whether or not another case might be opened against Juventus Turin next season? It happened too often now and he isn't some guy who wants to let a club ruin his season.

I would also be surprised if Juventus would be able to pay a salary like Real Madrid or Chelsea.

Chelsea have been excellent in their transfer businesses this year and to sum it up, finalising a deal with Benfica for Enzo Fernandez before the end of the transfer window was good business. It’s a shame to see things are still the same despite investing so much in a short time. Todd Boehly has been patient with Graham Potter but I don’t think Potter will still be Chelsea’s manager before the end of the season.

The problem is it's not all of the transfers that were already done by chelsea are needed by potter. Potter has been blaming chelsea's owner for such a transfer decision. There was a rumor about mudryk's transfer had been made by todd boehly as owner for chelsea and it's not coming from potter as a manager of chelsea. Chelsea is now in a very difficult situation where there are many conflicts happening in the club. I personally think that if potter will be also kicking some players out of the club if he will able to continue his career at chelsea.

The decision to sack him has not been made due to the management is still believing in him to make a change in the club someday. It's very sad to see that even brighton's boss was also mocking chelsea by also targeting its clearning service staff.
The reputation that owned by chelsea already destroyed due to the todd's decision to being some unuseful player to the stamford bridge.

Chelsea successfully signed some good players but it didn't impact much on their performance. It will be useless if the new players can't contribute well. For example, we can see how bad the performance of João Félix, he got a red card on his debut. While Mykhaylo Mudryk and Enzo Fernández still can't lead the team to win in the last few matches. Personally, I don't think it is because of the bad quality of Chelsea players, but it is caused by the wrong tactic used by Potter. They may target for nothing, they may have no problem being out of the top 10. But I think it will be worse if Potter manages Chelsea until the end of the season. It is better to fire him and change to another one.

Chesea has been excellent signing new players this season

It all started from last season when they were hijacking players that were intending to go to another club.
Immediatly the mew owner of Chelsea assumed office he started by any player. And I have seen that as an investment that will pay off in the future.
So chelsea needs to also offload some players that are not needed in the club to give other needed players chance to stay

I must say, I'm truly impressed by Chelsea's knack for discovering and recruiting young talents from all corners of the globe. The potential of Kendry Paez seems particularly enticing, and I'm eagerly anticipating his debut once he comes of age.

In fact! Another important move that I'm following is Chelsea's interest in defender Gvardiol, who was featured as a defender for Croatia in the World Cup.

From what I've read, it looks like he has a €97m release clause that will come into effect from 2024, so that should complicate Chelsea's plans a bit as that contract only expires in 2027.

In a first attempt, Chelsea were scared by the value, but 'The Times' has revealed that they are interested again and I believe that some "agreement" may arise in this negotiation.

I hear rumors about Erik Ten Hag wanting to buy Harry Cane(or Victor Osimhen) as a central striker and Franky De Jong and/or Jude Bellingham in the midfield. Bellingham, on the other hand, wants to join Real Madrid. The are offers to the Glaser family coming from different sides and I guess that Manchester United will have a new owner by the summer of 2023. This means a bigger budget and more money for new players.
Perhaps United will return to the "sir Alex" era of competing for the Premier League and the Champions League cups every year.
I also hear rumors about Arsenal wanting to buy Ducan Vlahovic from Juventus. Vlahovic doesn't fit the Arsenal style. I don't know why Mikel Arteta would want to buy a heavy striker. Arsenal is doing just fine in attacking and scoring goals.
I can agree that both targets are amongst the best attackers in Europe and any of the pair can actually make a lot of impact for United if they join in the summer. I am not sure about Kane being open to a move but Osimhen seems likely to me but Manchester United can go ahead and try to get a deal done, they could be lucky with any of the two.
