I don't know how much it would cost to get Neymar, but I am sure that it will not be cheap. On top of that PSG couldn't really utilize him too much, he missed so many games and yes whenever he played he was an amazing player but he did miss a lot of games.

I still think that Mbappe is young enough to build a superstar team around him. I think Donnaruma, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes and Mbappe is the core of that team, those should not be touched and they are amazing. They can make Kimpembe work as well, which means that the striker position and the defense position is locked, that means they need 3 midfield and 2 wingers.

Now I know that sounds like a lot, but they will sell Neymar and basically not sign Messi back, that means between the money they make from the sale and the salaries they will save, they could get those 5 players easily, even if not in a year, they can do that in 2-3 years and Mbappe would still be super young when they are UCL winner worthy team again.

Zlatan has been like a role model for most of the players in this team for a long time actually. They have seen him as their leader so far. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the definition of a true legend, even at 40 he is still playing top football and still scoring goals. It seems the end of a superb career is near and I will surely miss him so much when he finally decides to embrace retirement.

Being 42 and still a member of the club is not a good idea; he's not in his best peak at the moment, never have he been in the previous seasons, he's worned out and not consistent in games due to the crucial injuries he obtained in league games and training ground. Ibrahimovic ought to step down and do sort things that will fit him currently. Joining the board would be a difficult task, but he can do his best to fit in, thanks to his extensive football knowledge. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is respected by AC Milan because he has earned it. But I think that even the marketing thing wouldn't be that big of a deal as some might expect. Neymar isn't Haaland. Neymar used to be the next big thing when he transferred to Barcelona back at the time and then when he went from Barcelona to PSG and that did indeed work out to some degree. But now when he were to go to Newcastle, do you think that there would be some long lasting buzz around him? I don't know, I would perhaps watch a few games but that's it. Haaland would steal him the show anytime.

Barcelona has not even made it clear. The team is still struggling with its financial problem. I see no chance for messi to go back again to the his old club. It's likely messi may join with arabian club as the only club that was able paying him with so much money.

Back again, even if Messi and Neymar return to Barcelona as well as becoming club legends, of course these two players will only make it difficult for Barcelona's finances because their salaries are still relatively large for Barcelona, which is in a financial slump. This is like suicide back for them.
At the moment, Barcelona is already having a lot of trouble with the salary cuts that are always done but they are still trying to pursue ambitions that are actually impossible to happen.
If this really happens and they sell some of their potential players at the moment then I really think they have lost their way with their ridiculous ambitions.
