Anthony Gordon and Hakim Ziyech moves could be quite sensible for Newcastle in the middle of the season.

It isn't easy for Newcastle to convince bigger players into the team right now. So it would still be good for them as long as they sign a deal with decent players like these not only for having more alternatives but also strengthening the squad. Newcastle would make use of decent additions to the team as they need to keep their effort level as high as possible to stay in top four. Because Tottenham are in a distance of only three points now and they are looking for an opportunity.

I think for Newcastle United it is not really about top tier quality or signings, but a reliable back up option to improve their squad depth and help their quest to get champions league football this season, A Ziyech signing means Newcastle get theirself a quality winger who can swing in cross perfectly, something only trippier can boast of in Newcastle. While Gordon can develop into a top tier midfielder at the magpies
Also we have to remember that Newcastle have turned out to be a team worth considering. They are in the top 4 of the table, so moving some of these quality players makes sense now. There's nothing wrong with Newcastle wanting to strengthen the depth of his team to be even stronger to be able to compete more tightly at the top of the standings. Or even they are trying to aim for a higher position at the end of the season, because if we look at their points they are still very tight right now.

Mckennie is really close to joining Premier League from Juventus.

The deal is almost done with Leeds.
Juventus had initially made McKennie available to loan with an option to buy, prompting interest from Leeds. But negotiations for him  are close to completion over a permanent move, although Juventus and Leeds are yet to come to an agreement over the fee paid. If Leeds successfully get him, he’ll be a good addition to them at least his strong physique will be of huge benefit to Leeds, and he is also versatile and looks set to play a key role in their battle against relegation from the Premier League.

Yeah definitely can add to Leeds attack given how well they attack in counters and with McKennie's space they can give their opponents some hard time. Its a good move if you ask me. I was expecting some big clubs to make a move on him but Leeds are also not that bad of a club either. I think at Leeds he is gonna have a bit different role and possibly maybe more freedom for him to play. Let's see what Jesse Marsch has in mind for him.

Returning to Barcelona is very possible for Messi after his contract expires with PSG, Messi can help his partner (Xavi) to repeat his success with Barcelona. At the age of 35, he can spend time with a club that has made his name big, Barcelona will welcome Messi arrival, especially since some time ago Xavi had said he really wanted Messi to be in his squad.
Messi relationship with Xavi could be one of the reasons for Messi to return to Barcelona, Xavi has also asked Messi directly to help him rebuild Barcelona.

Many fans also want this to happen, Messi to come back home and play with Lewi, but PSG still believes that Messi's future lies at PSG.
Messi contract extension talks at PSG are underway, and I think PSG is the best choice.
With Paris Saint-Germain, Messi has the opportunity to win the Ballon d'Or and win the Champions League.

I personally don’t see Messi returning anytime soon back to his former club, Barcelona.
He has played his time over there and now looking ahead to better and a more competitive football. PSG, would not agree to see Messi go back to Barcelona after paying so much for him in the first place. I’m pretty sure they’ve got plans for his stay in the club and are probably looking to extend his contract at the club.

I don’t see Messi ever coming back to play for Barcelona. I don’t even think it wise to do so.

No, I think Messi can still return to Barcelona to play for his childhood club before retiring there as the club legend. The last time I read that he is yet to renew his contract with PSG and considering the his form and performance lately and looking at all he has see in the team due to the power given to Mbappe, I think he may return to continue playing soon to Barcelona to help them better their performance. PSG as his current team can't keep him if he does not want to play for them again so it is still the decision of the star player to make if he wanna play again for Barcelona or extend his contract with PSG.

I think that you shall read some statements that already made by eddie howe. Howe signing a new player based on how important the players for the club. Howe was not a coach that was thinking only for a short term plan. If newcastle has a plan to bring ziyech to st james park and that will be so good. Newcastle needs a good guy like ziyech. Chelsea wanna try to let some players leave from the club as chelsea has got some multi talented players. Gordon and ziyech will become good buyst for newcastle.
newcastle needs not only young player but experienced players too.

Newcastle don't need big names in the club because without the big players, they're doing brilliantly good on the pitch and look at their stats this season with amazing performance from the players. Eddie Howe is doing a good job in the team, making them to be among the title race competition would boost their ranked in the premier league. However they should signed few more decent players who are hungered to play for the team and not for the money. Almiron stands as the keyplayer for the team with brilliant performance and also topping as the highest goal scorer in the team.
The impressive results that Newcastle United continues to achieve make them worthy of being called a new force in the Premier League. Newcastle has great potential to compete in the Premier League even though they don't spend too much money in the transfer market, Eddie Howe has been able to use the player material he has to make Newcastle one of the teams that have made it into the top four.
The large funds owned by the new owner have made it easier for Newcastle to find the players they want, if Newcastle manage to qualify for the Champions League next season, Eddie Howe will try to bring in several top players to make Newcastle able to compete with other big teams.

I'll agree with you, as I saw the news already before I ame to see it here again, Leeds United are good at getting pacy wingers. I watched Mckennie during the Fifa World Cup with United States of America, his performance was catchy even for someone who barely watch football.
The Premier League isn't a soft place to spray hairs and do all sorts of fashion lifestyle, if you're a consistent player with week in week out performance, you'll rot good on the bench. In few day the deal will come to full agreement.

Chelsea wants to sell ziyech to the as roma while gordon is not yet determining his choice. Newcastle may become the most potential club for gordon but I don't even think Chelsea wanna try to give newcastle a chance to take ziyech from Chelsea.
That's a bit easier for Newcastle to convince those players to join with the club after newcastle was acquired by arabian consortium which is really good in supporting the club with unlimited funds. that will be a very wise transfer by Eddie Howe to take zieych and gordon.

I think Barcelona's financial condition and financial fair-play rules are the biggest hindrances for Barcelona to sign Messi back. Otherwise of course Messi would prefer returning there instead of extending contract with PSG. Maybe even the reason why he wants to think about his future now could be the probability of a return to his old team. Messi wouldn't see it as a big problem for himself if he takes his time by going free agent for some time as well.

I don't think there is any need for Messi at Barcelona from now on. They can only sign him back if they want to make him play for them one last time right before his retirement.

Every day every Barcelona fans dream is to see Lionel Messi reuniting with Barcelona and the fans
No much needs for him to be back but they will want to embrace the humble step son that was a out some season ago.

Winning one two three games and the trophies would see into the right financial times to get whatever player they desire.

I think with the condition they are in now, they have to try to forget this player and stay focused on their current players.
Messi is a Barcelona legend and has a special bond we know that but that doesn't mean they should lust after this player again. His time at Barcelona is over and there is no need to force it because it will only hurt them with all forms of their financial condition.
You are right. Why Barcelona doesn't try to forget him? There is no worth signing Messi again, he has a huge salary and already 35 years old. Barcelona has no capability to pay his salary and Barcelona already has many players with big salaries. If Barcelona signs Messi, they surely will have difficulty to deal with Messi's salary. On the other hand, Messi's performance isn't as well as before, his age is the factor to decrease it. Barcelona is better to focus on young players, just give them more opportunities to improve their skills and experience. It is much better than signing back Messi.

i don't think so. Experienced player has still needed by newacstle. Those players may be really helpful for the team. it's not about how popular or unpopular the player is but it's about how important those players for the club. If those players who have been targeting by newcastle will be giving so many benefits to the club and then why not? Newcastle has been performing so well but it's not so good caused by newcastle is not strong enough to win against another big team like city or even arsenal.
that means if newcasle still needs more ammunitions to be used to built the team even stronger than before.

As far as I understand the ambitions of Newcastle's owners stretch far enough and it's only a matter of time before buying star players. Perhaps if Newcastle stay in the top 4 this season, that time will come sooner than everyone expected. As for the reasoning about players who want to play not for money, but for a club, it’s rather naive (by the way, Newcastle doesn’t have such a name as Real Madrid, Bavaria, etc.) that even in theory someone just wanted to play for this club from considerations of prestige ideology or something like that.

Regardless of what Newcastle actually could have brought in big players but they realized this was not the right time because they needed a process of course.
They have to bring in slowly and right now what Howe is looking for is quantity. He realized that when one of the star players was there it would make a bit of a big shift and it could have an impact on performance so they made a number of things so they could increase player transfers again and again as the season went on.

There is a new rumour about Kylian Mbappe now and it might be the most unrealistic one as well. He is linked with Manchester City this time for this summer. But I don't even think Manchester City have such intention to sign Mbappe. They don't need him now and it wouldn't be good for their sake as well. Because having Mbappe and Haaland in the same team might not have a very good effect on the team. These players are one of the bests in today's football. We never know how strong they can play together.

It is easy to see that Mbappe's next station would be Real Madrid if he leaves PSG.
I'm not surprised by this rumor, there are too many rumors about Mbappe and he is already linked with many top clubs for a long time. But I also believe that Mbappe's next journey is to Real Madrid, it is the most club that he wants to play. As you said above, if he plans to move, he will surely move to Real Madrid.  Wink

Regarding the rumor of Mbappe and Man City, it is very doubtful since Man City already has Haaland. I'm very sure that Mbappe won't be interested to play together with Haaland, especially because they have the same position (CF). Every player must expect to be the main player, it is the same as him. Mbappe must expect to be the number 1 striker in his next club.

On the one hand I agree with you, Messi even from PSG does not want to leave judging by the latest rumors from the media about a new contract with the team. On the other hand, Barcelona is hurting itself in terms of budget by making overpriced transfers and paying insane salaries to some players. Barcelona have had a lot of failed transfers in the last few years, this has only widened the budget holes
