If a team is stablized almost every coach can take the team to victory.  The problem of Chelsea is not the coach, it is the inconsistencies of the players . After the rebuilt thay Chelsea is doing, by next season they will do very well even with Poter if he's gonna remain as the head coach.
The player has already done the best thing that they can do. How can you blame the players once the coach itself was not even at a professional level of coach? Look at so many inconsistently that were already made by potter and that proves that if potter is so bad. Potter was always rotating its players without even know which position that would be the best for the player. This guy is always rotating its players in any matches.

Potter didn't also contribute a lot to the club. He was kicking a player that he thinks bad for what he was thinking so good for the team. Potter is unprofessional coach for sure. I hope that chelsea will be going to the relegation zone to make todd realize how bad potter is.

Marcelo is a football player close to retirement, but I think he is still a valuable player. If he keeps his physical condition at a high level, he can continue to play in mid-level teams for a few more years like Dani Alves. However, I interpret his return to his home country as an emotional decision because he could have made more money by going to the Saudi Pro League or MLS. I think he chose his country and family instead of choosing that money.
Nah, he's still 34 years old and he's playing as left back which is he doesn't really need to keep running in the field, so he wouldn't lose his stamina unlike left winger position. Marcelo can still play until he reach 40 years old, but his lifestyle isn't good and he seems lazy to workout to maintain his prime body. Just look at his belly and his face, right now he's more chubby. If he's really consistent enough, he can still able to play in Real Madrid.

Having previously terminated his contract with Olympiakos and was rumored to be joining Al-Nassr, now the latest news says that Marcelo has reached an agreement to join his boyhood club Fluminense. I think it's great to be back at the club he's loved since the beginning of his football career and it looks like he'll be retiring at Fluminense in the future.

The problem was still in the coach. The coach has responsibility to build anything that would make the club even better started from

- Mentality
- Chemistry
- Self confident, etc.

The problem is potter never coached the big club. The pressure was so big compared with coaching the small clubs. If you were seeing his history as a coach in professional football and this is his first time to be a coach for the big club. Todd was wrongly picked garbage coach for chelsea.

Look at how aubameyang already tried to left from the club as potter has no clue how to reveal his potential for chelsea.

Chelsea program is for the long term. Last season Manchester United, Arsenal, and Barcelona did the same by signing talented young players. Perhaps the problem now lay with Potter. Chelsea's future depends on how Potter manages players going forward. Even though at the moment he is very doubtful because he is unable to produce good results, in my opinion, everything takes time to make the squad ideal. Another solution is to replace him with a coach who is able to develop young players like Arteta, Xavi or Erik Ten Hag did.

Despite the fact that Chelsea is trying to build their team for a longer time, that should not be a reason to not do well along the line. It's true that it takes time to actually build team. But what I can see from Graham Potter base on performance, He doesn't seem to be the right one to take Chelsea to the espested destination.

What is this please. Consistency of what players. Potter is not just confused with his own tactics, the job is not for sizeable for Potter
Chelsea is an ambitious side but potter doesn't look so much of that really
They have a good squad with players having a really good mental strength what do you mean the inconsistency please

In other news: Chelsea need to remember what a great player he is': Joe Cole urges his old club to tie Mason Mount down to a new contract with his current deal set to expire next year amid interest from Liverpool.
Source: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11791417/Joe-Cole-urges-Chelsea-tie-Mason-Mount-new-contract.html

I think Chelsea has tried everything possible to get mount on a new long term deal but if he doesn't want to give such commitment then they should let him go. Or better still they should give him a four years deal to see if he'll accept. Not every Chelsea home grown players will be the clubs hero. I understand people wanted Mason Mount story to belike that of John Terry and Lampard (in regards to the goals) compared but that hopes is getting crushed now and the fans just have to accept that.
The problem was that just letting him go would also be a bit risky.
Mount is a good player for them in their current condition and it will be a big loss if they are allowed to leave, especially if they do go to another big EPL club which incidentally is a rival for them.

It would be great if a deal could be done but indeed as you said it is back to Mount whether he will still try to survive in conditions where there are actually too many players in the same position as him or try new luck because with his performance at least there are several clubs large who are trying to approach him at this time.

Diego Simeone's defensive and physical struggle-based football mentality is very bad for Joao Felix. I think he failed to show his skills at Atlético Madrid. I'm sure he will play better football at Chelsea. I'm sure he doesn't want to return to Atlético Madrid. If Chelsea want to sign him, he'll definitely prefer to stay there. Also, there were reports that Diego Simeone would not be at Atletico Madrid next season. If Diego Simeone leaves, I think there will be no problem for him to return to Atletico Madrid. I don't think there was a suitable environment for him at Atlético Madrid.

Yes there are reports of this been the last season for Diego Simeone which is why Joan Félix was mandated to sign a new contract before going on loan to Chelsea. This means if Joan félix favors Chelsea over Atletico Madrid then Chelsea will need to pay huge fee to sign him and with Chelsea spending that much in the January transfer window, I don't think they they'll be willing to spend much again in the summer window which could trigger the attention of Financial fair play department to look into Chelsea spending.  Chelsea will need a striker on the summer, they already have lots of forward and with Nkunku coming I think halving Joan félix on a permanent deal shoudn't be our priority unless he prove he's worthy of a permanent deal.

MAaaN...!! CUT THAT STUPID SHIT
Messi would probably do the same thing he did before. He would rather be free agent first to see if he can get an agreement with Barcelona again. Then he would make his final decision about his future. If it doesn't happen then I think he would play for PSG one more year at least.

I don't think Messi will go to Arab or US leagues. He is a legend. He should leave football in a way that suits a legend. After the contract with PSG is finished, if he signed a 1 -year contract with Barcelona and leaves football, he will complete a great career. Messi does not need to go to Arab or US leagues. Messi will not be as helpless as Ronaldo. I think there will be big clubs that want to see him at least one more season in Europe.
I can't really tell what is next for Messi whether or not he will continue his career at PSG. Rumors have it that a move to Arab league is likely but I don't see a possibility of joining Ronaldo at Al Nassr. The rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi is a great story the way it already is. If you ask me I feel Messi will extend for a further year with PSG, when he decides to leave the club I think he will want to end his career in Barcelona. Messi is not the type of player who likes to explore different clubs and leagues as we have seen throughout his career, he’s played for only 2 clubs and I strongly believe he will be returning to Barcelona.

Messi is an extraordinary player and many clubs will try to bid for Messi to enter his club. If the contract with PSG ends, Messi hasn't decided where to go, whether to extend it or not. But there are several requests from Messi that PSG must do so that Messi can survive and extend his contract, such as a salary increase. It is known that salary currently received by Messi is $ 41 million per season and that is not enough for Messi, Messi asked the club to be able to increase his salary in renewing the contract with PSG and that would be PSG's main consideration, because even though Messi can appear competitively, Messi is already old. 35 and it is feared that its performance will decrease. Besides that, Messi also has PSG have new players who are talented and can keep up with him and can win his fifth Champions League hat. Messi's desire to be a champion is still very big and it must be supported by new talented players who can make a contribution at PSG in the Champions League.
After the 2022 world cup is over, Messi intends to retire from the Argentina team and will take more time off. But because the break was too long, PSG was worried that it would affect the team's condition, because other players would certainly be jealous of the others training hard while Messi was still resting.

Paris St-Germain and Argentina forward Lionel Messi is considering returning to his boyhood club Newell's Old Boys. After all the possibilities that have been mentioned, from extending the contract with PSG to returning to Barcelona, this is really a big surprise. What Messi will decide in the end?
...

This is a very classic behavior for South American football players. Almost all South American football players have the same thought. Of course, the same possibility may not apply to Messi, but I think he will most likely say goodbye to football in his country. Actually, saying goodbye to football in Barcelona would be a greater prestige for him, but if Barcelona do not transfer him, he first evaluates the attractive offers from the Arabian Peninsula, and then he returns to his home country like other South American football players (most likely).

Another crazy transfer again from Chelsea because they want to sign Kendry Paez from Independiente del Valle aka Ecuador club. He's currently 15 years old, but the contract he  will join Chelsea after he's already 18 years old, so Chelsea is really looking for long term journey since they have no problem to wait for next 3 years. I don't see any statistic about this player, but he's playing as a midfielder.

It is amazing how Chelsea is working with the new management.
It's clear that they are thinking about the future, hiring many new players, even players under 18 years old, for possible valorization, generating profit for the team, and also to have an excellent and young team in a few years.
I couldn't find the value of Kendry Paez, it shouldn't be higher than the value paid for Andrey Santos, it should be a little less.
If I had to guess, I would put something like £8 million.
Here is a video where you can see a little bit of how he plays: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asD8fT42248

Independiente del Valle is a team that will participate in the Libertadores 2023, and they regularly play this competition (they won the South American cup in 2022) and they will probably take advantage of Kendry Paez at some point, since he still has 2 years and some months of contract with the team, before going to Chelsea, so it is good that the player can already participate in important and international games, arriving even more prepared for the Chelsea team.

Looking forward to seeing the Chelsea team in 3 to 4 years.

I think a lot of time has passed that would prove something, or at least make it clear that you really need to work for the future, but it is not visible, the feeling that these transfers for huge amounts of money just did not work, there is little result, so there are doubts about the coach. I think he will be replaced by the beginning of next season.

No matter how many times the Chelsea owner says that they have a long-term plan with the team and Potter is a part of this also, I think the fans will still make a big impact on the final decision.

Because I also don't think the fans are happy now at all. They are right about that also because there is still no improvement in the team despite having so many games with Potter. They even lost to the last-placed team in the English Premier League home by not scoring a single goal. I guess that even this would be enough to show the seriousness of their situation now. Potter wouldn't last long if they go on like this. I'm pretty sure of it. They would like to bring a more reliable manager in the summer then.

another piece of news from stupid owner. It seems like todd wants to see his own club to be relegated to the championship league. I don't know how chelsea's director was not even feeling frustated with its club after very poor performance under potter?
Chelsea was always getting lose against another team while another big clubs were starting to wake up from their sleeps. Todd needs to take a harsh decision to sack him. Potter was still an amateur coach and he needs to get more experience in the low tier club.

He is not having any capabilities to handle the big club with so many problems like that. I think that the result gonna be different if it was the special one.
That MUST be just saving face in front of the media, and then sacking him behind closed doors. No way that they would allow Porter to keep on managing after such a horrible season, there is no way that they should, it would be beyond logical for them to let him manage the club.

I get that it is not going to be easy to replace him right now, so they can keep him until end of the season, but by the end of the season they should stop spending another half a billion on new players, and focus on who they can get as their manager. Pep might be available if City gets punished, and with that they can definitely build a team that can win the title in a few years.

The long term only applies if Potter is still there but if he is sacked immediately after the season ends or even before it is clear there will be some more adjustments for the new coach and does not rule out players who have been brought in during the Potter era being let go at a later date.
Chelsea's condition is unpredictable at the moment and it would be great if they managed to get out of their bad luck this season even though the ranking in the standings is still very difficult to catch the top 4 positions.

I just found out that Osimhen played for Wolfsburg when he was signed in 2016 for 3.5 million Euro. I mention that because I am following the Bundesliga very closely, but I never heard of him. He left Wolfsburg without having scored a single goal and they celebrated it because they were able to get the same price for him as they paid for him! Then at his first other club he played well right away. That's crazy!

Now it doesn't need any more info and they must be disappointed at Wolfsburg since he is now worth at least 70 million and probably even more than that. However, nobody knows how things would have gone if he stayed in Wolfsburg. Sometimes it just doesn't work out at some clubs while at others they play on elite level.

If he did stay at Wolfsburg I am pretty sure that he wouldn't have turned out to be a great player like he is right now. The performance of a player can vary from club to club, team to team. So we can never say that the performance would have been the same if he had stayed in Wolfsburg. And I do not think that Wolfsburg should be feeling some way about it. Because at that moment he was not performing for Wolfsburg. So they sold him. And at that time I don't think anyone would have complained about the money they sold him for.

How the tables have turned!

I agree that that is very possible. It is easy to say in retrospect that it was an unlucky move for Wolfsburg, but in the end nobody really knows whether he would have turned into the player he now is.

And as you put it, he now has an incredible team surrounding him and he can enfold his full potential thanks to that. He might not have had that chance in Wolfsburg at all.

Well kinda hit on the mark but I think Joao Felix is still crucial for Atletico. Its just the coach always tend to make changes as suitable inside the game and player has to accept it instead of throwing a tantrum. Do you think Chelsea are gonna give him full 90 mins every game? Eventually situation will boil between player and the manager if he isn't playing enough. So I think nowadays no manager guarantees full 90 mins, he eventually makes the change or doesn't beings him to lineup if he thinks he isn't effective enough or will not be effective enough against certain opponent. There are lot of factors involved for selection and player has to accept it because its not doing them much good most of the times. So I feel player has to have some kind of humility in them.

About Diego Simeone, you do know that he is the longest LaLiga club manager so Atletico board has huge trust in him. He has won them lot of titles in his tenure so I think he is very much solid. Its Felix who has to leave or accept whatever Simeone thinks of him.

Are we criticizing Potter too much?  Everyone is harshly criticizing him as Chelsea's results are filled with disappointment for the fans.  Maybe Potter needs time.  If they enter next year under his management, maybe we can watch a different Chelsea.  He can make more successful transfers and make the team better.
Graham Potter is reasonable to accept criticism at this time after failing to bring Chelsea to be in the top four and the defeat of the first leg in the champions league has made the public doubt Potter's capacity as a coach. Actually Potter have failed in Primer League after Chelsea dropped to 10th standing position and impossible thing with much money spent in window transfer but Chelsea can't back to the top standing position.

It looks like Graham Potter needs awareness of his current position with Chelsea, but proving he can qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League might be a bit of a consideration.

As far as I know, fans are very unhappy because of the result he got during this season and the managers of Chelsea should be happy, this disappointment can make Graham potter closer to the exit door and during the next season, we are going to see different and maybe a much better Chealse with another coach they are going to sign a new contract with him because keep Potter for another season seems impossible.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial missing ahead of Coroaba Cup Finals.  What is the hope for United

Marcus Rashford is among the most inform players in the world in the likes of Victor Osimhen, netting in almost every match. But after Manchester United encountered Barcelona and exited them from the Europa League, Rashford is reported injured along side Anthony Martial who has long left the team because if injury. Weghorst has not adapted to the team yet. Any hope for United?
Conditions are still possible I think.
Rashford's condition cannot continue to be managed and he must now be temporarily sidelined. But on the other hand there are actually a number of players who can replace it, it's just that this is a bit bad because with Rashford and Martial the position in the attack line is again relying on Weghorst and so far I'm not too happy with his performance.
As for the wing positions, there are still players like Garnacho and Sancho there.
