Arsenal has been on fire this year, topping the Premier League standings and infuriating rival clubs with their pursuit of the title. The board is not holding back in seeking out any player they can get their hands on and making sure that they are the best fit for the team. One of the best front lines at Arsenal is Gabriel Martinelli, and Mikel Arteta was successful in convincing the Brazilian international to sign a new long-term contract with the club that is good until June 2027. Good news for Gunners fans, the team's next goal is to secure long-term contracts for Bukayo Saka and William Saliba.
That's very good news to hear. Saka has been linked with so many teams before. Saka's contribution is a lot to the club. it can be seen from several matches in EPL. I hope that someday folarin balogun will be able to go back again to the arsenal from league 1.
It seems like that arsenal will not be doing what already did by Liverpool by letting some important players leave from the club like what happened with sadio mane. Arsenal is in the best form right now. Glad to see that if these players wanna extend their contract for longterm with arsenal.

I’m surprised no one is talking about this news. For me, it’s the biggest news this week, the 21 year old English player has been cleared of all charges. What’s the fate of Greenwood’s future in Manchester United and football? Will Manchester United finally terminate his contract or will we see him wearing the reds once again
Haven't heard from this player in a long time, even though in the previous season he had been one of the keys to victory for Manchester United, but after a problem he has not been active since then. I think Manchester United will give Greenwood one more chance, but considering that Manchester United has now been coached by new coach Erik ten Hag, it seems that the decision now depends on the coach whether he can bring Greenwood back to the main Red Devils squad or not.

Jorginho is going to be important in the upcoming times for Arsenal in my opinion. Because he is definitely a very experienced midfielder. That is going to come in very handy for Arsenal. Because I believe that Arsenal has lack experience, and Jorginho will be able to provide the experience that they need. Arsenal is already performing really well. I think that is why he will be able to complement his teammates very well.
That needs to be proven before we can say whether jorginho will be very important in arsenal or not. I guess that if potter has been making the right decision by letting him go to the arsenal. Chelsea will not be extending his transfer and he will be leaving with free transfer status in next transfer season. Jorginho has a chance to continue his career. he was a good guy. Arsenal has been performing so well now. I think that jorginho will make the midfielder of arsenal even better than before.
Let's see how good he will be playing for arsenal. Arsenal already known as the strongest candidate to win EPL this season.

Jorginho Will be an important player in the Arteta squad, he's well respected playmaker and a champion league winner in the squad. Jorginho Will  bring in his experience in to the team. It's really a great signing for Arsenal.
Just as Manchester United took Sabitzer from Bayern Munich on loan, is a good midfielder  to replace injured Ericksen  till the end of the season. If he perform well this season, Ten Tag might sign him , everything wants to build a fordable team, and quality players determine

I'm sorry if I missed this discussion here, this topic moves so fast that there's no time to catch up on everything.

However, I wanted to talk about the signing of Enzo Fernández, sold from Benfica to Chelsea for 121 million euros and with a "guaranteed" contract until June 2031. From what I've read, this is definitely the most expensive signing of an Argentine player yet.

Enzo Fernández was elected a revelation player of the Qatar Cup, I hope he gets space to play at Chelsea, continues to demonstrate his excellent potential and progresses more and more.

Ben Chilwell might be a target for Manchester City depending on Cancelo's condition in the summer.

If Cancelo decides to continue with Bayern Munich then Manchester City had better find a new player to fill his place. Maybe they have Sergio Gomez but still they will have one less backs in the squad. Cancelo is a wonderful player so they might need to find a solid alternative as well. Chilwell isn't a bad player of course and he also likes to support the attacks by his contribution. But I don't know if he is the right choice to replace Cancelo.

]At this time, even though he has been declared innocent and has been cleared of the case that happened to him, I still think it will be difficult for Greenwood or Manchester United to bring him back.
Even though all the charges have been dropped against him, I agree with you that it will be difficult for him to become a first-team choice for the new coach of Manchester United. Manchester United team unfortunately seems to be doing better without him so I do not see the point including him right now when the team has just found their balance. If Greenwood returns to the team he would have to fight for a place to play or maybe request that Manchester United send him on a loan because the situation means he will spend most of his time on the bench.

Manchester United Coach already made complaints of the shortage of attacking options he's having currently having dropped the case finally they have done Ten Hag good b giving him a good talent.
Manchester United will take the time they have to monitor the situation of Mason Greenwood if to continue with the club or termination of the contract. I want to see them isolate him ans let him train alone for the next three weeks or four weeks by recommended coaches from Ten Hag just the way they did with Jadon Sancho.

I think Chelsea had a special clause regarding financial fair play because they have been just bought by someone else, which causes a bit of different calculation. I have seen in it the sun newspaper, but it was way way earlier, like on early days of the ownership, regarding how much they could spend. They could be still above that, I do not remember how much it was, but it said because of that move, they were capable of spending more than they normally could if their old owner stayed, that's the difference. At the end of the day they spent way too much and still got no results for it, which is why I doubt its really a problem for anyone, if they got a title out of it or something then people would maybe look for it, but since they suck, nobody cares really Cheesy
Chelsea has been exploring loop holes that have not yet been known by UEFA. I think that would better if you were reading this article

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11668493/UEFA-close-loophole-wake-Chelseas-record-spending-complaints-rival-clubs.html

This is also main point why chelsea will not face any problems with FFP. So many new players were getting very long contracts. The fees being spread to this long term contracts. Chelsea's management was doing crazy things by exploring the possibility of avoiding FFP. That's why its rival has been complaining a lot.

Football Insider, Chelsea’s new recruits have signed ultra-long contracts, allowing the transfer fees to be amortised over those timeframes and thereby offset under the terms of FFP

Graham Potter is in a position to make the transfers he wants and right now he should think about who he will bring to the team and take that step.  The choice available to Potter is incredible.  There are situations such as the ability to spend unlimited.  After spending so much money, the main goal should be to get into the top 4 in the league and build a squad that can be champion for UCL next year.
I don't know if Chelsea are going to get themselves into FFP problems because of the amount of money they have spent, both in last summer's transfer window and the just concluded January winter transfer window. Anyway i'm pretty sure the club knows what they are doing and they ought to know how to circumvent all that.

Having said that, Graham Potter is one of the few managers in the world right now that's spoilt for choice on players to select per game, it is a good thing to have, but it can also come with problems of too much rotation and struggles of keeping big players happy; there'd also be a huge amount of pressure on the manager to deliver, Potter has to ensure Chelsea finish in the top four, and then he has to win titles next season, or else he'll prolly be fired.
The pressure to deliver now has just been increased for Garry Potter. I agree that having many big players and options in the team is good but most times it also comes with a huge responsibility especially rotating the squad to fit every game and at the same to keep all players happy. If Potter can get this right surely it will be massive boost in their quest to revive the season and help finish in top four which will be difficult though, but the main focus now should be getting it right cause if he doesn't that will be another problem for the club to battle with.

It is a very interesting incident. According to news, people who were accusing him suddenly decided to recuse. I still doubt he is really not guilty after all those charges first.

If I were in Manchester United's place I would still wait for some time to make sure about the truth. Because those were really serious charges and it was like this nearly ended his professional football career. If they decide to call him to the squad quickly then I'm sure people will criticize the team a lot. They had better wait for a proof to act about him. Normally Greenwood is a really skilled player and the team would like to see him back in the team of course. But let's see how this ends.
I remember reading the news and how heartbroken I was from all the insults he received from those who may have done worse. They carried out social media trial, damaged his reputation, and assassinated his image. Now that the did has been done and the charges dropped and he has been acquitted, I ask what is his fate? How will he get himself together to function in the team. Obviously, they are already performing well in his absence. Maybe he would just warm the bench just he is sold out.
But indeed at that time there was some evidence and it was supported by witnesses which was clearly one of the things that Greenwood could not deny. at this time it was reported that one by one the witnesses began to withdraw from the investigation which resulted in him being declared clean of all charges. but even so, I think it will still be difficult for him to be accepted at Manchester United and other clubs, regardless of what the current conditions are, even if he is not punished, many will still insult him because of his current condition, even if he is declared clean from a legal point of view.

Greenwood had a very weird situation that he has to handle very carefully. He is a good player, definitely a great enough player that he could make millions from playing football, there is no doubt about that. However, there is two situations depending on what happened. If he did what he did, then supporting him and giving him contract or get him nike deal and all that would be a very bad decision, because he would be a bad person.

But, since the allegations dropped, does that mean he is not guilty? In that case, how fair is for him to be not playing where he supposed to play and not making as much as he could have? Do we get "innocent until proven guilty" ignorance on this case? I am not sure what is right in this case, it's a very tricky one.

Looking at the current conditions and looking at some of the comments from a broader perspective, we are now divided into 2 camps between those who support and those who still condemn when he was released after committing violence.

I think it's a little tricky for Greenwood and still won't be able to play regardless existing results.

Real Madrid are very determined about signing Jude Bellingham in the summer. They are planning to make him their top target as well.

It looks like they will be in a race with Liverpool to sign him this summer. Bellingham's father is eager to see his son playing for Liverpool but Bellingham hasn't looked like he is sharing the same opinion. He is more likely to sign for Real Madrid for now. Maybe after the end of this season he might change his mind as well. But it doesn't feel like it would happen. Because Liverpool are having really difficult days. If they don't fight for the Champions League title at least then their job would be more difficult to convince him.
You are right. I also think Bellingham has a very small chance to move to Liverpool. If there is an interesting offer from a big club like Real Madrid that always plays in UCL competition, it is surely a better option to choose by Bellingham. Every professional player must dream to play in UCL, and must prefer to choose the team that possibly wins the league title. While Liverpool is no longer a strong team as a few years ago, they only struggle in the top 10 now. And the worse thing is that they seem no longer play in UCL in the next season. So, no reason that Bellingham to move to Liverpool with the current situation of this team, Real Madrid should be his next destination if he wants to leave his current club.

So what happened to financial fairplay? I thought that it was introduced a few years ago to prevent that a club, that is owned by a sheikh, an oligarch or by other super rich people, can just buy every good player out there. Seems like financial fairplay is already dead again, what a shame. Also i want to  add that, just because you have a lot of money to spend, does not automatically guarantee success. How many Champions League trophies has Paris Saint Germain won since it is owned by that sheikh and since they have spent hundreds of millions of € for new players? None at all. So just because Chelsea has now spent a lot of money does not make them stronger.
Also just because they have spent 130 M€ for Enzo Fernandez does not mean that he is performing like a 130 M€ player. His market value is 55M€. It's Chelseas fault alone, that they have spent way to much for him.
I believe there are certain rules which sum up as the fair play rules and if any is been defaulted then Chelsea will have to answer for them and if not then they just executed the perfect transfer window, you are also right that PSG have not won the Champions league they have been chasing even with the much spendings they have made in recent years but Chelsea could be different with the right manager. I just hope these players don't turn out to flop or overhyped.

Leao has a contract until the summer of 2024, so even if Milan falls out of the top 4, he will play in Milan for another year even without the Champions League (and of course, if some club does not pay compensation for him). Now Milan is trying to convince him to sign a contract until 2026, but the reality is that since they are interested in the player, they will either have to raise his salary or even add a signing bonus.
Milan will not risk keeping him this summer if he refuses to sign a new deal. Getting two numbers between € and m is always better than 0.
I agree that Milan this season is not that interesting as the previous one and this tendency is seen in every Italian club from years. After Juve dominance, no team was able to maintain the first position more than a single year.

It depends how you look at the problem  Wink What is the best number of qualified strikers - 1 or 0? Or do you think that if Leao is sold a year before the end of the contract, then it will be easy to buy a worthy replacement for the amount received? In fact, Milan is facing a challenge where there is no perfect solution, all options have both pluses and minuses, but I think that they will try to keep him.
