Arsenal have started to spend quite a lot of money recently. After increasing their potential in the Premier League they want to play as big as possible.

Arsenal have offered 70 million pounds for Moises Caicedo while Brighton are insistent on 80 million. I expect them to reach an agreement in the middle. Actually Arsenal were said to have a less transfer budget than the amount they offered but it looks like the case is the opposite. Arsenal are doing their best not to secure only the Champions League but also the Premier League title. They have done a very good job about that so far.
Moises Caicedo is a midfielder who is very suitable for Arsenal's strengths and is very influential so that they always get wins, considering that Arsenal are currently at the top of the standings so that a very difficult task is to maintain Arsenal's position which is already in first position. Arsenal must move quickly to buy Moises Caicedo so they don't miss the opportunity.

They are having a good performance, if they get Moises Caicedo they may have the opportunity for Arsenal to finally fill that space for greatness, for me as far as ARSENAL is concerned, what they need is more luck, because they have very good material, which The players have a very good future and it can be said that now what they need the most is good leadership, something that could be quite good for them, however they are under a lot of pressure both in the PL and in the Europa League, I think that for now I don't know who what will they give more priority to, I would prefer that they give their all, regardless of fatigue, it is the best they can do as long as the players take good care of themselves.

Roberto De Zerbi confirms Brighton are ready to SELL Moises Caicedo to Arsenal

Quote
The Ecuadorian midfielder made a surprise public transfer request after the Premier League leaders had a £60million bid rejected by Brighton, having knocked back a £55m offer from Chelsea earlier in the window.

Speaking after his side’s 2-1 FA Cup win over Liverpool - which Caicedo sat out - De Zerbi suggested he was ready to use the player’s sale to improve his squad in the final days of the January window.

“Caicedo is a very, very good guy,” he told reporters.

Very crazy that, Brighton refused an offer of 68 million euros, they definitely do not intend to sell the 21-year-old player in this transfer window, since, with the sales of Marc Cucurella to Chelsea, Neal Maupay to Everton and Leandro Trossard to Arsenal itself, they have a good amount of money in their pockets, it is not prudent to have more casualties in their squad since money is not an issue for now.

However, Arsenal, which is the current leader of the Premier League, needs to hire in midfield, nothing urgent, this was a long-term goal, but with the injury of midfielder Mohamed Elneny, the movements intensified and with that, Caicedo passed to be the target of the London club, which runs out of time, since, in England, the deadline for transfers is January 31.

I'm sure Arsenal will make a new investment for the player, will they offer the 80 million?
The seagulls have missed out on most of their keyplayers this season with letting go three of their star players and it's affecting them in league games. Despite pulling a big threat to big clubs in the league, they would start looking for new players that will replace the outgoing ones. Not letting Caicedo go is totally understandable because he's one of the keyplayer in the team. Moises Caicedo is one of the essential player remaining for brighton Albion and they're trying their possible best to hold him back inother to use him for their league games and he's very keypart for Roberto De Zerbi in the team. Arsenal did submitted a good bid worth over £70m with add-ons but brighton still stand on their ground and declined their bud request. Such a hard time for gunners as they want him in the team as soon as possible, moreover they're the club leading in the race to bring him over to emirate stadium.

Hopefully with time Graham Potter will slowly work something out and get his squad together to am improved form. I don't expect Chelsea to sack Potter at this time, I think they must have learnt a few lessons from past occurrence and changed the idea of sacking coaches too quickly. It will just take time and patience, I believe in Graham Potter to bring the club back to glory days.

I am always interested in the question at whose expense "someone" (in this case Chelsea) plans to return to the top (at least enter the top 4)? It's very crowded at the moment and even clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham can't get in. I don't know whether Potter will be fired or not, but the Premier League has come to a point where even if you find 10 Sir Alex Fergusons, some of them will turn out to be complete losers.
Todd has no reason to fired potter. I meant todd has been spending almost 500 millions for potter. How can todd fired him then? that scenario unlikely to happen with potter. It seems todd wants potter for the long term in Chelsea. that's why todd wans spend so much money for him to build the dream team. There was still another mission like bringing enzo fernandes to stamford bridge. This gonna be the most difficult task caused by benfica was a greedy club. Chelsea shall spend more money to get moises caicedo rather than enzo which is always getting manipulated by benfica.

It all depends on the club PSG to make final conclusion.
PSG already made final decision and navas agreed with such decision. Navas thinks that if that would better for him to play for forest rather than not getting regular time to play in the main squad. You can even read some articles that already discussed about that. PSG has even confirmed it if navas will be moving to the EPL. i think that it's just the matter of time until navas will be playing in EPL.

Goalkeeper Donnarumma plays very well at PSG. I watched him at the Lens game. He single-handedly kept PSG in the game. Navas has little chance of getting the jersey from him. Therefore, transferring to another team would be the best decision for him. Since he is 36 years old, he will not have many alternatives, but he can still play in one of the middle class teams. I think Nottingham Forest or Al Nassr might be some of the best options for him.

Arsenal apparently, don't want this season to be a one time thing, and i have heard that the 2nd offer for Moises Caicedo was also declined, i wonder if Arsenal are willing to submit a third one and make it a really big offer which could be a record for Arsenal.

Brighton didn't wanna let him go even though arsenal has been offering 70 million pounds for him. Brighton is still waiting for another offer from other big club like Chelsea. chelsea itself has been increasing its offer to the enzo fernandes with 100 millions and player as a bonus for benfica. Chelsea looks so crazy these days. I think that Chelsea may even deal with brighten to buy caicedo for 80 millions pounds. The small club was pricing their players so crazy. i don't know how chelsea will be able to get a profit after spending so much money.

I think if Arsenal keep insisting sooner or later a deal will happen and indeed this time it seems they are still obsessed with Brighton players considering that they also managed to bring in Trossard.
However, the performance of Brighton's players has been good enough so far that it would not be too wrong to even dare to pay such a high price.

It's been 6 years though for arsenal since their last campaign at champions league.

So yeah no wonder if they prepare everything from now on and especially to defend the current position at the top till the end of the season , they would of course spend big and 10m gap to reach the caciedo price might be agreed in the next couple of days before the deadline day.

I have heard that Romelu Lukaku is on the radar of Newcastle and Tottenham these days.

I really don't know if Lukaku would be eager to return to the English Premier League again in a short time. Because he was so eager to join Inter side and he reached his goal. His current loan contract ends this summer but Inter were thinking of extending its duration if I'm not wrong. On the other hand, Lukaku hasn't been able to find a chance in the starting eleven since he recovered from his injury. He didn't seem good in the World Cup either so it might be really difficult for him to get the shirt from Dzeko.

Maybe this might be a reason for him to return to England if this situation goes on like that.
It seems that when we talk about Tottenham these things happen because of Conte's intervention and that's obvious.
Conte always spoiled Lukaku when he was at Inter and the results were quite good but I don't think this will be good for the Premier League because indeed seeing from his record at other clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United or Everton he still hasn't been able to get a good performance actually in the EPL.
As for Newcastle, I think it's still better for them to find another alternative in this regard.

Change of plan, McKennie will be in England on Monday and not on Sunday.
He will do his medical with Leeds and he will leave Juventus.

So basically only Premier League used this transfer market, the football is dead.

Lukaku to Tottenham or Newcastle is a tricky one for me. At the moment I will prefer Lukaku to Newcastle because with the current Newcastle form I think he will do better and the atmosphere around the club will be good for his development and will help him build his confidence again. This might be the perfect return he needs in his career.
Will he seek his luck back in the EPL when he has failed several times at several clubs there? I think this is too difficult especially with the price which is likely to be a little higher.
Indeed, in this case the current Tottenham coach Conte has a special affinity with Lukaku but I don't think he will be able to develop in the EPL because even with good conditions he could not develop at several clubs before, especially now with his performance declining.

But the chance is currently a little difficult because it is reported that Messi is not too interested in the contract, especially with Mbappe's promotion carried out by Galtier.
Even though there are still several possibilities for it to happen now, as long as he doesn't press the contract, the automatic extension will be canceled and inevitably PSG must release this player immediately.

Messi's transfer should be of a great concern to every club. Both the club he wants to leave and the one he wants to join. Messi is a special breed of player and I am surprised that people are linking his inability to extend with psg to Mbappe. I feel that Messi is not much bothered by Mbappe's excess but people are seeing it differently that Messi cares.
That is something for sure. We know he is one of the goats and previously reflected on Ronaldo, which incidentally can be said to be balanced with Messi, so much attention has occurred and this will definitely happen for Messi as well.
Talking about Messi and PSG, according to some of the news that is currently available, he really doesn't really like the decision where Mbappe was appointed vice-captain at PSG. Maybe this is just an exaggerated report but it is possible that later this will be one of the reasons for him to leave if he really wants to leave there.

I don't even think they should rush things about sacking Potter at the end of the season. There is no meaning in parting ways with a manager you have just brough to the team. In this way the team will have to adapt to a new manager by short intervals. This isn't healthy for any team actually.

Anything that has to do with the sacking of Graham Potter just has to be a rumor because if that was to be true then the Chelsea management knows nothing about football and they have to resign immediately and maybe give the club to someone who actually knows about football management. Chelsea would be in very big financial probably unless the manager they'll be sacking graham Potter for is the Zidane kind of manager that has lots of reputation and respect from players. If we aren't getting a manager like this then let's us stick with Graham Potter.

Graham Potter is slowing getting his squad back so let's us seat back and watch how the boys play under the young coach. He mightn't be able to meet up the standard of other coaches at the premier league but I expect him to make an impact on the squad.

I don't think Lukaku move would be good for Tottenham. Because I don't see any meaning in this while Tottenham have players like Kane and Richarlison already in the team.

If Lukaku comes to Tottenham I assume he would like to be a part of the starting eleven. But it is too difficult for him to get the position from Kane. Because Kane is showing an amazing performance in this season also and he is right behind Haaland in top scorers now. Lukaku's fate would be the same as now. He can't take his place back in the starting eleven from Dzeko now. Besides I believe we don't have the old Lukaku anymore. He was indeed bad in the World Cup and he doesn't seem good in the Serie A now also.

Sunday's transfer gossip:

Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar will join Paris St-Germain on a free transfer in the summer but the French side have offered around 10m euros (£8.8m) to sign the 27-year-old this month. Inter have rejected the offer and want at least double that. We all know that PSG has no problems with its finances and can pay for everything  Grin

I hope the deal for Moises Calcedo comes to full conclusion before the transfer deadline, cause if they don't, the battle line has been drawn. Arsenal has every possiblity of loosing out on the league if this is not done to close up for Injured Thomas Partey.

Still won't be a nice idea chasing Declan Rice, Since Chelsea and Arsenal already made moves for defensive midfielders already, who's next for Rice would be Manchester United or Liverpool, he deserves a big side that plays week in and out.

Lukaku should just be around a team that passes the ball for him to score else, he'll have nothing more to prove here but being the waste he use to be. Skriner never had plan to go for another club but just Paris Saint Germany, good luck to him over that ends.

Thanks for the information.

I know that the Messi factor is a big factor in football. Even outside playing good football the endorsement, Jessey sell, endorsement etc  that he will bring when he is resigned will be great. Apart from these factors to be considered, if it is only playing football, there are other footballers who can play Messi role and be paid less.
I feel Messi might end up extending his contract with PSG despite the many speculations the media is spreading as their are not much options for a player of Messi's calibre or probably a move to Saudi Arabia is likely, if he is offered a huge deal such as the deal offered to Ronaldo he is likely to accept a move for the money.

Jose does well in a star studded squad. With the amount of players Chelsea have signed recently, Jose would most likely win trophies for Chelsea. He does not guarantee you good football but you are most likely going to win a trophy or two with Mourinho. I am not a fan of his football style and I would not like him in my club, especially considering todays football but for a club like Chelsea who just want to win trophies he will be a good fit.

Going back to Chelsea for a third time might not be a very good idea for Jose when you consider the fact that his previous spell there didn't go well for both him and Chelsea. Knowing the kind of person Jose is, I doubt he will turn down the chance to coach Chelsea one more time especially now that Chelsea have a new management that are not scared to spend money on players.
I truly believe it will be a productive move if Jose Mourinho were to move to Chelsea now. Mourinho given this many players at Chelsea will do wonders, he is well known for managing big players and with his ambitious nature to win trophies. I feel he is the right man for the job and will suits Boehly's project.
