I don't think Lewandowski took as much as risk as Barcelona did, Lewandowski is already almost 34 years old, and I don't Bayern Munchen would have renewed his contract next year beyond a year or two at most, and with Barcelona he very likely the going to get 2-3 years worth of deal as well, he barely has anything to lose, he's had an already illustrious career that most player would give everything to have. However, Barcelona on the other hand have taken a huge risk, and more so a financially unwise decision, given their current financial status and the amount the club will have to pay in terms of wages, the team literally cannot afford to go another year without silverware else it'll be back to how awful things were after the previous board left, if not far worse.
I think the risk is being taken by Barcelona a little too much because if they don't win almost everything in the next season, there will be a lot of problems for them. Tend meaning every competition means a lot more money and they sure need that money right now. and it is also true that Robert Lewandowski is already 34 years old almost. And he does not have too much time left in his career. and almost half of his first season in Barcelona is going to go away just thinking that he is getting set in the team. But Barcelona can not afford that to happen.
The way I see this if Barcelona fails, and Robert Lewandowski also does not score, this will be a case of not being able to get a seat on the team for Robert Lewandowski. but for Barcelona, this will be taking some dumb financial decisions. But I trust Robert Lewandowski is going to play well in Barcelona. I just hope that they will be able to win both the La Liga title and the Champions League title next season. Otherwise, I don't think they will be able to get enough money. Not to mention I already don't understand how they are paying the fee for Robert Lewandowski in the first place.
