Chelsea owner Todd Boehly left his club's game today against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge just before the final whistle. It's reported that the club's chairman was infuriated with the performance and result of his players and is now prepared to meet Napoli's demand on Victor Osimhen. Considering the number of players Chelsea have signed already this summer, do you think it's a good move for the club owner to sign Victor Osimhen this summer?

Chelsea transfer policy is a big joke.  Tongue  They have 42 players in the squad now. What the hell are they planning to do with that many players man? It is nonsense.

Boehly doesn't have a specific transfer plan. He just continues to sign as many players as possible. It can't go on like this. How does he even expect the players to have a solid coherence with each other?

I bet they don't even know each other yet. They should only make necessary signings. Just like Osimhen example. I believe a striker like him is needed. Jackson is very incapable.

There is bad news for Barcelona bout their experienced player İlkay Gündoğan. Since İlkay Gündoğan joined Barcelona he helped the team a lot and he was effective for this team during the time when Xavi was working there, even Fick needed this German player.
İlkay Gündoğan played for Manchester City before and was one of the best players of Pep Guardiola to help this coach win the titles.  A few hours before the game they had against Valencia they removed his name from the list and it seems İlkay Gündoğan is not happy in this team anymore. Gündoğan even had some offers from the Saudi League but it seems he contacted Manchester City and he said he is ready to come back and play for this team which is not good for Barcelona.

Is this true? because I haven't heard about this news. However, if this news is true, then this is something that will be detrimental for Barcelona, because as you said he is a good player and can have a positive impact on Barcelona's game. If he is not happy here, then in my opinion it will have an impact in the game, because the player must be comfortable in the team to be able to show his best game.
If he contacts Manchester City again, I'm not so sure Manchester City will accept him again. The reason is that even before Fia went to Barcelona, his contract was not extended and that meant that Manchester City no longer needed the services of this player. Now Pep Guardiola also prioritizes younger players, because he also needs to regenerate for the future of Manchester City. So in my opinion the opportunity to return to England, specifically Manchester City, is closed.

Disappointment is a natural thing because no club owner expects defeat from the club he owns, especially with the amount of money they have spent, so it is quite natural to feel disappointed.
But in this case, of course, we are also aware that good results will not come instantly, especially with the initial chaos where Todd did not care about needs and only bought players according to his wishes, so Todd must also be aware that he is taking a role in the performance that is not too certain now.

Bringing Osimhen is also not immediately the answer to the results because after all, even though there was a good situation when Osimhen was at Chelsea, but for performance issues, it must still be based on the coaching method and the scheme that will be carried out because 1 player will not change the overall performance even though he is a good player.

Now reportedly Sporting Lisbon is exploring the possibility of recruiting Vitor Roque from Barcelona and the fee offered is around 30m euros. There are additional additional if this deal happens and at least this will allow Barcelona to slightly reverse the capital that has been spent to bring in Vitor Roque previously.

As we all know, Vitor Roque's future is increasingly unclear at Barcelona and it is only a matter of time before the final decision this summer is determined. Moreover, Lewandowski's performance at the beginning of this season was quite promising so that Vitor Roque's chances of filling the starter are getting thinner. It seems that Barcelona could let him go but whether Vitor Roque wants to go, no one knows yet. Well, this will be the decisive moment because talks between Sporting Lisbon and Barcelona continue.
Vitor Roque agent was refuse to loan to other clubs so if Barcelona doesn't needed Vitor Roque service anymore then Vitor Roque agent asking to Barcelona to sell him immediatelly this summer and Hansi Flick was not including him to Barcelona this season plan so that's why Barcelona didn't register Vitor Roque as their player to Laliga which mean Barcelona is really want to sell him

Previously there were several clubs who interesting to Vitor Roque such as Everton and Real Betis but apparently this news is only remains rumours because these clubs were never bid for Vitor Roque but seems Sporting is really serious want to gets Vitor Roque and the latest news about this transfer is Sporting officially bid for him and Sporting still wait Vitor Roque agent decision whether he will accept this offer or not

https://dailypost.ng/2024/08/17/transfer-psg-set-to-return-for-osimhen-as-goncalo-ramos-fractures-ankle/

PSG might have to rekindle their interest in Victor Osimhen because of the ankle injury suffered by Goncalo Ramos in the 1-4 win over Le Havre. It is reported that the Portugal international will require surgery that might sideline him for close to three months. Chelsea will now have a strong competitor for the services of the Nigerian international. PSG was reluctant to secure Victor because they were relying on Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani. But with this long-term injury, signing a new striker has become unavoidable.
There is no other choice but to look for alternative players to replace Goncalo Ramos.
Victor Oshimen may be one of the players who was previously discussed but PSG is still reluctant to spend money to pay Victor Oshimen even though they are actually able to at least they continue to persuade the club to lower the price of this player or if PSG objects they can look for other cheaper players but this will waste time because they need a striker immediately to face the next match.
Chelsea don't seem to be interested in Victor Oshimen anymore so if PSG are interested they can just buy him without thinking twice.
And I don't think Osimhen will go anywhere next season, PSG until now there has been no further news between the player and the club, and I think Enrique is satisfied with his current players, and Chelsea will not spend that much money for one player, and I think Osimhen's fate will be a little uncertain because in Napoli he was also not included in Conte's squad but after Napoli suffered a crushing 3-0 defeat from their opponents I think Conte has to prepare him for next season because there is no other way than for them to unite because both parties need each other but the ego of all that makes them not have a good friendship.

There is no way out this season for Osimhen if Napoli does not immediately lower the price for him, no club dares to guarantee paying him like that and with the injury he suffered last season also being considered because Osimhen declined a little last season, now it's just him and Napoli, hopefully he will recover soon for his career and his shoes to continue his ball game, because there is no way out for him because of the price issue.

his inability to differentiate owning a football club and owning a regular business is what has landed his club in the situation they've found themselves. He is just too interested in his business and don't want to listen to what players, fans and even the coach is saying. Was he expecting to win against Manchester City with these young lads that lacks a lot of experience? How do you work with a team where almost all the players have zero experience apart from natural talents? Who is even the best Chelsea player? Is it palmer, cucurela? Madueke or Jackson? All these guys on a normal day will still be average players if they are to be featured in the Manchester City team. Look at how halland was bullying all of them because they obviously aren't a match for him. Jackson has been a big flop and yet he is the number 9 man to play same position that halland plays and you want to get a win? He's just a joker that needs to wake up. And he even went on to sack a Coach that was blending well with the players? Who even does that?

He has not seen a worse disgrace yet, if he continues with this same squard and doesn't want to sign a much experience players at least 3 that can bring on the matured personality into the team, he should be ready to get multiple of disappointment in the coming games. For the long term, the Chelsea team is very good but when you're looking at thier ability to competing in a competitive league like the premier league with these current combo in all the other clubs, there is no two ways about it, they need more experienced attackers.

Todd Boehly is a very impatient person in my opinion, and it seems he wants everything to be obtained instantly. Sacking Mauricio Pochettino is not a solution and it is actually a mistake. Maybe it would help a little if the replacement was a classy manager, which can really make a difference. But as for Enzo Maresca, I doubt that he will be better than what Pochettino has done.

It is not surprising that he felt angry when faced with the fact that Chelsea lost to Man City because what he had in mind was that what he was trying to change would make Chelsea strong but it turned out to be very different from his expectations. Nor would it be surprising if in the near future, Chelsea will be blindly looking for a striker, whatever the price and the way, and they might even chase Osimhen again.

To be fair, Boehly must not get upset with the result of his own decision to overhaul his club once again. He sacked a good coach, then sold so many important players. This is what he deserved to see by always changing his club like playing a football manager. I lost my respect for this owner.
Todd is completely destroying Chelsea with his zero knowledge of football. Also, I am very disappointed with Chelsea's investors for not voting to remove him as Chairman.

Boehly thinks that doing football business is as easy as selling hotdogs.

Overhauling is a great idea but not all of the squad completely, you'd have to mix the experience players with the young players so they can blend together and complement themselves. Getting upset would be dumb, no regrets now, only lessons and actions if he must advance forward. I'm cool showing the exit to Mauricio Pochetino but then, not forcefully pushing out hard-working players in the squad all because you want to make profits.

He is not doing bad and I still have respect for him but then, he should be removed as chairman. This is not a baseball club or basketball team honestly. He should allow people who understands football do them jobs better. And Enzo Fernandez as a number 10 sucks completely. He didn't do so great but not bad.

Manchester City management has given Pep Guardiola December as the deadline to extend his current contract with the club. I think he'll want to see how that court case unfolds before he commits to them. I don't think he'll want to be relegated back to the Championship and striped off his hard earn trophies won because of those charges.

Well, if Everton and the rest are not exempted, City shouldn't be likewise. Transparency is what we want truly.

He made some basic mistakes and maybe he knew the consequences, losing the first game will affect the mentality of the players and that is not good for the club at all.
Football is enough with business but they have to look at it rationally and not make mistakes like Todd Boehly, this was a wrong decision even though it was Chelsea's first official game of the season in the Premier League.
There are many weaknesses that Enzo Maresca needs to fix and in that game he did not show his ability to play at home.

There are many things that might change and we will also see how Chelsea this season will face important matches against other big clubs.
If they don't have the ability to compete then I think management and coaches are the ones who need to be blamed.

There is only 1 solution for Osimhen transfer to be realized, namely Napoli must lower its market value according to the club's capabilities. If this solution is not implemented, then Napoli and Osimhen will remain in the same position, standing still and doing nothing. Then about Chelsea, do you think everything is easy when you already have 44 players, is it still not enough? It doesn't matter as long as Todd Boehly money never runs out, but before that, as an illustration or simple comparison for you, today Chelsea will face Manchester City. Here we can judge with Chelsea squad of more than 40 whether Enzo Maresca has found the right composition to stop Manchester City.

The results of this first match will determine how good or bad Chelsea transfer is. Like it or not, it must be accepted considering that Chelsea has more players to choose from. If they fail to conquer Manchester City, it means buying that many players will be considered in vain.

Napoli kind of missed the train selling him or you could say that they went all in and were hoping that he keeps on performing like he did in season 22/23. That was an excellent season and I remember that his price tag was 120+ million, but I doubt that any club would be still willing to pay that amount. That season he had 36 goal participations in 39 games, which is really strong taking into account that he started with a relatively severe injury into the season. But I think some clubs had doubts that he would be able to keep playing on that level. It was just an excellent year for him, but Napoli at some point asked for 150 million I think.

In season 23/24 he missed a ton of Serie A games, I think about 1/3 of the games in the league only. And in the Champions League the journey was over in the round of 16, which means he couldn't really present himself in top games. He also missed the Supercopa semifinal and final because he had to play for the national team. It wasn't going well for him and now he is stuck with a mediocre club as I don't think that Napoli is competitive enough with the team they have right now. Additionally they had a horrible start now.

If the Chelsea rumors are true I think they are willing to pay around 45 million. Crazy what a price dump that is from the 120 - 150 million not too long ago.

I think he can help Napoli to achieve something this season, the club realise that and the player is willing to leave the club, especially there are offers from good clubs. And this is the reason why they are raising the price, because they can't refuse clubs because of the player's desire, because they have already discussed everything and Napoli have the last word. Overall I don't see their fault, they want to keep the player and that's their right

With all the indications from the preseason games and the first match of the season against Verona today that they eventually got beaten it is clear that they don’t want to keep him anymore. He has been left out of the squad to look for a new team which wouldn’t be the case if they don’t want to sell. Last season when they had the opportunity to sell him and they didn’t want to sell him they made it publicly clear and now I don’t think they want to keep him with the club statement and the interest in Lukaku, right now they have more problems at hand than just Osimhen. The reason why they haven’t actually reduce the price tag might be because there is still Time and probably when a club comes for negotiations they will agree on a certain amount with them.

Lo Celso is rumoured with Mourinho's team Fenerbahçe recently. Tottenham is prepared to sacrifice him as far as I have heard. This is making things easier for Fenerbahçe. Besides Mourinho and Lo Celso worked together at Tottenham back in the day. This could also be a big help for Fenerbahçe to convince him.  Smiley  I don't think he will have big costs for them. Mourinho has been expecting a midfielder signing and this could be the one.

This can also help breaking the ice between Mourinho and the chairman Ali Koç as well. Because it is said Mourinho isn't contented with not signing a new midfielder.

This is a move I think will be a good one and wouldn’t be a deal that is hard to get sorted out. Since last season at Tottenham I think Lo Celso himself would have found out that he isn’t on Ange’s plans and he went on loan, now back and without much games at even preseason friendlies I think he should move to Fenerbahçe where is more obvious to get more playing time than this Tottenham

On the other hand Osimhen wants to leave in this summer's transfer window, even Fabrizio Romano often quotes the striker wanting to leave. at the same time, Napoli is reportedly trying to find a solution. in addition, Conte has expressed his desire to bring in Lukaku. seeing this situation, even Osimhen is not included in the list of reserve players when Napoli plays their match. whether it's in the pre-season match, Coppa Italia and even the match against Verona in the Serie A competition. this is clearly increasingly confusing, if Napoli insists on deliberately not wanting to release Osimhen, why don't they play him. at least, to maintain his fitness. well, my guess is that Napoli really wants the price they set to release Osimhen. previously, Arsenal was the first to make an offer but in the end they withdrew. then PSG was also reluctant to bring in Osimhen with the release clause that Nopoli wanted, even though they were able to pay it. now only Chelsea is linked with Osimhen, even though they have many strikers. but because Osimhen is an established player, Chelsea is still open to negotiations. unfortunately, no agreement has been reached so far. I speculate, if Osimhen does not leave in the summer transfer window, he will probably be linked with several clubs who previously wanted him in the winter window.

Speculation about Osimhen's future is full of uncertainty because so far he has not found out which team he will definitely join. So far Chelsea and Psg have always been linked with Osimhen and there is even a loan option as said by Fabrizio.
So far I see the situation as increasingly less decisive because he is not Conte's choice this season due to his desire to leave in this transfer market.
Even in the first match of the season, Napoli suffered a big defeat. Of course, this is an evaluation material for management to solve the front line problems because they need an attacker who can bring victory in the next match.
PSG has reportedly withdrawn from the hunt for the Nigerian striker's signature because PSG is reluctant to pay the high price set by Napoli's management.
Apart from that, if the situation does not find an agreement then it could be that the team nicknamed Partenopei Gli Azzurri will have difficulty competing with other teams such as Inter Milan or AC Milan.

What has kept Osimhen transfer to still lingering is due to the market value placed on him with clubs like Arsenal, Bayern Munich who were earlier in the race too backing down leaving Chelsea and PSG still keen to acquiring him, although this would have been a done deal for PSG already but at a time they got unserious after evaluating their squad but their interest later rekindle amidst Goncalo Ramos injury.

But like I had said earlier, if PSG will be willing to incur all the requirements in acquiring Osimhen then is most likely he will agree a deal with the French giant since he will be playing in the champions league if he gets to join them. Everything about his fate will eventually unfold as the window transfer duration get winds down, however, I still maintain my stance that Chelsea are the team with a good looking advantage in this race for Osimhen despite not featuring in the UCL.

From the look of things, I doubt if Napoli wants to sell Victor Osimhen this very season because I don't see the very good reason why they should still keep the price this high if they really would like to sell the young star, and after that many clubs has indicated their interest and has offered their different price bids, at least their should have been a revisit on the price in the attempt of having a reduction in the already price tag on Victor Osimhen, making a bit lower and more interesting price for buyers.

I really hope that Dybala stays at Roma because he also seems to me to be a player who can still give a lot in football and therefore it would be a shame to see him waste his football talent outside of a competitive team, let's say that the money is not little and in case Roma have a lot of money to invest in their departure!
It seems that for now Roma can also take a stand with what happened in the first week of Serie A that they ran.
Although the final result remains only 1 point for them but indeed Dovbyk alone is not enough to make miracles in Rome so they still need Dybala to be a coating or even make some breakthroughs when the situation is crucial. Until now De Rosi still gives Dybala confidence by being in the squad when the situation is still unclear about his future at Roma this season but on the other hand this could be the answer that Dybala will indeed be retained despite a very good offer from Al Qadsiah.  The transfer season is only a few days away for Serie A so we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Been competitive becomes intense for these clubs. AS Roma have good players in the club and I’ve watch closely the performances of the club, they’re outstanding and becoming huge threat for the title contenders. Paulo Dybala is on the list for the most vital players for Roma. The Argentina international have promising stats which have provided crucial aides for his club.
