It seems Manchester United is not interested anymore in hiring Frenkie de Jong.  Frenkie de Jong was a young and talented player which made some teams to be interested in hiring this player and they were interested in having this player and keeping him for a long time. Manchester United was about to hire this player and Frenkie de Jong even left some training sessions in Barcelona and people were expecting to see Frenkie de Jong in Manchester United.
But since De Jong was injured for a long time, and he was mostly out of good form, Manchester United is not considering other options instead of De Jong.

Some news outlets reported that Manchester United is considering a swap deal between Jadon Sancho and Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong. Barca is willing to let the Frenkie leave at the right price since they have signed a more reliable player Dani Olmo. Meanwhile, Manchester United is keen to land a central midfielder since the deal to get Manuel Ugarte is not going smoothly due to a gap in the valuation of the player. Luis Enrique made it clear that the Uruaguan is not in his plans, but the price PSG is asking is far above the value United has for the player.

Football can be very unpredictable; this is the same Frankie that United was willing to pay as much as €85 million for two years ago. Now, injuries and age will make him move to Old Trafford at a cheaper rate.  United boss Erik ten Hag has worked with Frenkie and sees him as an asset. Sancho might be a good addition to the Barca attacking force and Hansi Flick might be able to bring out the best in him.

this transfer market in italy is really heated there are several big names with dybala seems to be intent on going to arabia while derossi has decided to call him up anyway, in the meantime another coup will certainly always be of interest for roma in the case of dybala's departure it's the church, in fact the Roma has the intention of taking Federico if Dybala were to leave
Maybe not. Paulo Dybala has not expressed his desire to move to a Saudi club. However, it is true that we have seen in the press that Saudi club Al Qadsiah has said that he would consider it if they invite him to play at their club.

Paulo Dybala is still young and has a bright future ahead of him. If he plans to go to Saudi then it could be a terrible move for him. Because there are no competitive players in that league and even the players there can't match themselves in that way to the whole world. As a result of which their career tends to be dull but there they can earn more money it is true. Dybala is currently a talented player at Italian club Roma. Even he is a very effective and important player for this team. Moreover, he has performed brilliantly for his current club. If he leaves, his club may suffer in his absence.

I really hope that Dybala stays at Roma because he also seems to me to be a player who can still give a lot in football and therefore it would be a shame to see him waste his football talent outside of a competitive team, let's say that the money is not little and in case Roma have a lot of money to invest in their departure!

I believed the transfer window has closed but for some few transfers that are left to complete the Nigerian international striker Victor Osimhen as been left out from the transfers. In the latest news on Osimhen, Mikel Obi said they need a striker in Chelsea and he is suggesting to the management of the club to buy Osimhen and in return Chelsea said, they can buy him in loan.

So as for me this is a very big disgrace because as an international player, you were edged out from the transfer when the transfer was hot and nobody or club was ready to sign him and Napoli wanted him to leave the club, Chelsea refused to sign him and Arsenal withdrew themselves from him.

What do you think is the cause?
If you have followed the transfer journey so far, you must know why Victor Oshimen has not left the club or no club has recruited him, all because of the Napoli club who priced him very high so that clubs who want to recruit him have to think again because they have to dig deep into their pockets, if Oshimen's price could be negotiated no more than 100 million euros, Arsenal, PSG or Chelsea would definitely compete to get him.
I see the current situation, there are no clubs interested in bringing in Victor Oshimen and they are looking for other alternatives that are cheaper and of almost the same quality, this Oshimen drama is almost the same as Mbappe's drama when he was still at PSG.
As long as Osimhen doesn't back down to Napoli, Napoli will sell him whenever they want. They have a transfer fee that they have determined. They will not allow teams that do not pay this transfer fee to negotiate for a transfer. However, the price they are asking for is very high. In today's football, many players can be bought with €100 million. There are not many teams that can pay this amount. Paris Saint-Germain is now more careful. Because they have a big loss like Mbappé.

Mikel Merino is now closer to joining Arsenal to make this team even stronger than before. Mikel Merino was recently linked to Arsenal while he was under contract with Real Sociedad which made this player far from Real Sociedad.
Now Real Sociedad is going to play against Rayo but Mikel Merino is out of the squad and it seems they accepted the fact that they won't have Mikel Merino anymore.
Mikel Merino is still under contract with Sociedad until 2025.

Arsenal seems still under negotiation with Sociedad for Mikel Merino transfer and probably they still discuss about the transfer fees of this player and Arsenal spend for weeks but this negotiation haven't reach an agreement yet because basically Sociedad don't want to release this player but apparently i can see it that now Sociedad change their mind that they are willing to release the player

Certainly this transfer will be happened because Sociedad manager Imanol Alguacil didn't putting Mikel Merino into Sociedad squad today when this facing Rayo Vallecano because Imanol Alguacil confirmed for now Mikel Merino is still negotiation with Arsenal for contract term and in the next few days probably the transfer process will be completed

When news of a player's transfer comes out and the player wants this transfer, they can no longer show their old performances in their teams. It is very difficult to get efficiency from a player who has a team in mind. There is still time left on his contract, but Mikel Merino will want to transfer because Arsenal is a bigger team.

Mikel Merino's absence from the squad for the match against Rayo shows that this transfer may happen soon.

https://dailypost.ng/2024/08/17/transfer-psg-set-to-return-for-osimhen-as-goncalo-ramos-fractures-ankle/

PSG might have to rekindle their interest in Victor Osimhen because of the ankle injury suffered by Goncalo Ramos in the 1-4 win over Le Havre. It is reported that the Portugal international will require surgery that might sideline him for close to three months. Chelsea will now have a strong competitor for the services of the Nigerian international. PSG was reluctant to secure Victor because they were relying on Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani. But with this long-term injury, signing a new striker has become unavoidable.
PSG and osimien are still battling? I thought PSG were being reluctant because of the price tag being attached to the Napoli striker because right from time, I think that has been what being holding them off. Chelsea and some other teams are also tied really hard with osimien but so far no one I think has been able to land the deal breaker for the Napoli team so I guess his moving is still wavering with no certainty.
Napoli is not in a hurry about this because they know Conte wants to benefit from Osimhen. If the transfer happens, they will sell him to the team that offers the amount they want, if not, they can benefit from him for another year. Osimhen would make a great contribution even if he stays in the team, and he would make a financial contribution even if he were to transfer. He will be a player who contributes in every way.

It was because Napoli's asking price was too high that many clubs decided not to negotiate with him, although some may have approached. PSG and the Saudi Arabian League have been linked with an interest in recruiting Victor Oshimen and in fact they have enough money if they want. But so far there is no clarity and perhaps Napoli are still determined to keep Victor Oshimen's price as they want.

I need to emphasize that if PSG would never sign Osimhen if his asking price is still so high. A few weeks ago, there were many reports that said PSG is not even keen to buy Osimhen's release clause. If Napoli wants to sell Osimhen to PSG, they should lower their asking price.

Mbappe is considered a big player and perhaps his qualities are different from Victor Oshimen and despite the large transfer fee Real Madrid still prioritizes him. This is different from Victor Oshimen, whose quality of play declined last season due to injury or disagreements with the coach so he did not play.

I'm sorry to say, but Osimhen's not even comparable to Mbappé at this moment. Osimhen's inconsistent performance raises big questions. I'm also unsure if PSG will change its mind about Osimhen's transfer. But, Osimhen's transfer aims to replace Goncalo Ramos, who is injured. It has no relation to Mbappe.

PSG have two STs. But, due to an injury, they have only one now that can play. It's not enough to help the club in all competitions.

Wait, didn't Ben Chilwell play quite well last season? What do you think made Enzo Maresca tell him to leave? I can't believe what happened to Chelsea. In fact, this team will always make big spending when the transfer season arrives and if this continues without end then they will not be able to create an ideal squad to win the competition.

I also don't know for sure why Enzo Maresca doesn't like him and indeed every coach has his own choice of players who will be included in the planning. If Ben Chilwell leaves it is actually quite good for his career rather than continuing to be in a silly team like Chelsea. I look forward to a club that wants to recruit him and if there isn't one by the end of this summer he will likely spend more time on the bench.

Chelsea's management engaged in a careless spending spree that left the club with about 43 first-team players. Now it seems the club wants to reduce the number of players, and the head coach, Enzo Maresca, is facing a hard task in selecting his team. With the spectacular performance of Marc Cucurella in the Euros you would expect the coach to give him the first team shirt. With young substitutes like Malo Gusto, Levi Colwill, and Renato Veiga, Ben Chiwell will have to leave. You wouldn't blame the coach because some players would be sacrificed.

The English player is exceptional and well-experienced, but his biggest challenge is his injury-prone nature and his high wage. He is always in and out of games due to several injuries. He still has about three years left in his contract, so Chelsea would want to cash out on his sales or send him on loan to any interested club that can pay his bills. Ben should move to another club where he would play consistently rather than waste his time on the bench of the Blues.
Yea, this piss of news is very much correct, Enzo mascara did confirm it in his latest press conference that Ben chilwel can leave and go look for more playing time elsewhere, though from my own observation it looks like Enzo mascara is quite aware of his terrible injury record, so he already knew that he is not reliable since he is always injured, so right now it's best for Ben chilwel to look for a suitor,  something I think that he never imagined this summer, but such is life, and especially in football, anything can happen, nothing is quite certain.

And just as you pointed out correctly, Chelsea football club is trying to trim down the already large squad they have at their disposal, so I believe that at this point in the summer, anyone that is not a regular in the first team might leave the club especially if the person in question feels like he should be playing, so at this point for Ben chilwel, I think that the best thing for his career is to evaluate his options and look if their is any better options, because right now, it's very much obvious that he is already a surplus to requirements at Chelsea.

Chelsea will now have a strong competitor for the services of the Nigerian international. PSG was reluctant to secure Victor because they were relying on Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani. But with this long-term injury, signing a new striker has become unavoidable.
Paris Saint Germaine if I remember withrew their interest in Victor Osimhen because of staggering price that his club Napoli was demanding for him so now that they've made up their mind to rekindle their interest in the Nigeria striker, should we believe that they're ready to pay that same price Paris Saint Germaine have been asking from them? I understand they want to get another striker before the end of the summer transfer window since Goncalo Ramos is injured and would not be back anytime soon, maybe, they'll finally sign Osimhen
Well, I think that it would be really difficult for them to acquire the services of Victor Osimhen at this particular stage of the transfer window because Osimhen's mind is mostly set on moving to Chelsea and one key advantage Chelsea have over PSG is Romelu lukaku, this is a player that Napoli is dieing to acquire, due to his past relationships with Antonio Conte, so I believe that it's actually going to be very difficult for them to sign him if they are really intentional this time in getting his signature.

Lastly, if PSG truly mean business in their pursuit this time around, then they must surely show enough intent that they will be willing to pay up all that is required for his signature, because right now, it's already difficult for them.
The Osimhen transfer saga has yet to find a bright spot, Napoli is still open to releasing him this summer, PSG and Chelsea are the two clubs most often associated with the transfer of the Nigerian player. Meanwhile, if we look at it in terms of needs, Chelsea and PSG actually both need quality and experienced strikers, in order to boost their goal productivity in every match. Napoli still maintains Osimhen at a high price, I predict that at the end of the transfer window an agreement will be reached, either with Chelsea or PSG.

Most likely Osimhen will dock at PSG, although on the other hand Napoli is interested in Lukaku. The competition in Chelsea front line is very tight, because Enzo Maresca squad has several attackers. In addition, joining PSG could make Osimhen play in the Champions League, this is an interesting thing for every player. Perhaps in the near future we will see PSG submit their official offer to Napoli, so that the Osimhen transfer saga will be completed before the transfer window closes.
Everything been equal the bottom line of this whole saga is that Osimhen will surely leave Napoli before the end of the summer window transfer as because the Nigerian striker is no more interested in staying at Napoli more than he already has neither is Napoli's manager Antonio Conte with any space for Osimhen in his plans for the team.

What has kept Osimhen transfer to still lingering is due to the market value placed on him with clubs like Arsenal, Bayern Munich who were earlier in the race too backing down leaving Chelsea and PSG still keen to acquiring him, although this would have been a done deal for PSG already but at a time they got unserious after evaluating their squad but their interest later rekindle amidst Goncalo Ramos injury.

But like I had said earlier, if PSG will be willing to incur all the requirements in acquiring Osimhen then is most likely he will agree a deal with the French giant since he will be playing in the champions league if he gets to join them. Everything about his fate will eventually unfold as the window transfer duration get winds down, however, I still maintain my stance that Chelsea are the team with a good looking advantage in this race for Osimhen despite not featuring in the UCL.

Sigh! I never expected that if Maresca would be brutally honest. I know that if Maresca is not excluding Chilwell from his plan. But, there is no guarantee his system will succeed. It will be very bad if we let one of top-notch LB to leave from our club. He is the only experienced LB in our club.

I bet Chilwell will last longer than Maresca at the club. Unless, of course, Chelsea has not terminated his contract or sold him. Im seeing this as a circus, and it's about how to destroy a Football Club in 3 short years.

I have been saying that Chelsea has no interest in Victor Osimhen, with so much money that Chelsea has already spent on many signings, if they really wanted to sign Victor Osimhen, they would have signed him. See that now Chelsea wants to make another signing, and a striker signing, I'm talking about João Felix, according to Fabrizio Romano

Chelsea and Atlético are now getting closer to final agreement for João Félix and Conor Gallagher, almost there!

Positive round of talks today… as João Félix says yes to contract terms as he’s ready, open to return to Chelsea.

Rumours on €60m fixed fee for Félix are not true as it will be significantly lower and might include add-ons.

Gallagher would go the other way to Atlético Madrid… there are still details to clarify but talks are advancing.

All parties working to get the deal done this weekend.

source: https://www.instagram.com/p/C-v2seOohTy/

I have also been saying that PSG has no interest in Victor Osimhen, with all the money that PSG has, if they really wanted Victor Osimhen, they would have paid the amount of money that Napoli is demanding. Unfortunately Victor Osimhen and his agent made a big mistake in accepting a long term contract last year if my memory serves me right, because Victor Osimhen was seeing that Napoli would not be able to go to the European Champions League and would not be champion and the attention given to him was decreasing, it was the right time to leave Napoli, now it is late and it could really destroy his career.

The negotiations between Joe Félix and Chelsea look optimistic, like there are high possibilities that both Atlético Madrid and Chelsea will be agree with that agreement that was presented before. Atlatico Madrid are demanding €60 million for the Portuguese international Joa Felix while Chelsea is expecting to and also wants to pay €45 million for Joa Felix because they already spent a huge amount at this summer. So I hope they will agree on it.

In addition, addition Both clubs have a goal in this deal, Chelsea wants Joa Felix and Atletico Madrid wants to sign Conor Gallagher, which is almost complete, just waiting for the official announcement. Atlatico Madrid benefited a lot from this swap deal because they signed a well performing player which was actually required by Atlatico Madrid in the midfield department. On the other hand Joe Felix has ex experience of English Premier league so he can perform better at Chelsea.

This deal will definitely have to pull through for the sake of Atletico Madrid getting their man. Chelsea sees both deals as a separate deal but they want to use it to force Atletico into given them there man for a cheaper price, Atletico wanted a fee at the region of $60m for the player; Joao Felix who Chelsea valued less than that, with the $35m pre agreed deal with Gallagher and the €90m for Alvarez Atletico might have to just reconsider the value and sell off the player before they can able to register the players first. Gallagher is a major priority for Atletico due to how scanty their midfield is and they could defy do away without Felix so I think the deal will pull through at the end.

Recruiting Osimhen in the near future only for the reason Goncalo Ramos is injured, it makes no sense. Maybe it could have happened but not in the near future and PSG will also not question the transfer fee because PSG has a large finances but the problem is only whether Osimhen has a great interest to join PSG?
Of course if Osimhen chose between Chelsea and PSG, surely the player chose to join the EPL team to be said because his career and experience would be wider than with PSG who would only get a domestic degree.

Well, from this problem it becomes the pros and cons and many more that must be considered by PSG if you really want to bring in Osimhen. Because this is not only about the amount of transfer fees but also the problem of Osimhen mental readiness to join the League 1 team.

Previous reports have actually indicated that Osimhen doesn’t rule out a return back to France with champions a suiting team for him. Same thing as to going to Chelsea because he had actually said he grew watching them and Manchester United so man will be proud to represent them. So i don’t sense any difference between him getting to pick any of the team, it all depends on the club that got to agree on a deal first.

I think Leon Goretzka is a wonderful player and he will be able to find a new home in between the 2 weeks that are left in the transfer season. The competition is too much in the Bayern Munich squad and for a player like him, I don’t think it fits to warm the bench.
Yes, and a player must leave.
Personally, Leon Goretzka actually still wants to stay at Bayern Munich, right? However, the club wants to release him before the transfer deadline ends. They are still waiting for negotiations from other clubs.
