https://dailypost.ng/2024/08/17/transfer-psg-set-to-return-for-osimhen-as-goncalo-ramos-fractures-ankle/

PSG might have to rekindle their interest in Victor Osimhen because of the ankle injury suffered by Goncalo Ramos in the 1-4 win over Le Havre. It is reported that the Portugal international will require surgery that might sideline him for close to three months. Chelsea will now have a strong competitor for the services of the Nigerian international. PSG was reluctant to secure Victor because they were relying on Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani. But with this long-term injury, signing a new striker has become unavoidable.

I have been saying that Chelsea has no interest in Victor Osimhen, with so much money that Chelsea has already spent on many signings, if they really wanted to sign Victor Osimhen, they would have signed him. See that now Chelsea wants to make another signing, and a striker signing, I'm talking about João Felix, according to Fabrizio Romano

Chelsea and Atlético are now getting closer to final agreement for João Félix and Conor Gallagher, almost there!

Positive round of talks today… as João Félix says yes to contract terms as he’s ready, open to return to Chelsea.

Rumours on €60m fixed fee for Félix are not true as it will be significantly lower and might include add-ons.

Gallagher would go the other way to Atlético Madrid… there are still details to clarify but talks are advancing.

All parties working to get the deal done this weekend.

I have also been saying that PSG has no interest in Victor Osimhen, with all the money that PSG has, if they really wanted Victor Osimhen, they would have paid the amount of money that Napoli is demanding. Unfortunately Victor Osimhen and his agent made a big mistake in accepting a long term contract last year if my memory serves me right, because Victor Osimhen was seeing that Napoli would not be able to go to the European Champions League and would not be champion and the attention given to him was decreasing, it was the right time to leave Napoli, now it is late and it could really destroy his career.

The negotiations between Joe Félix and Chelsea look optimistic, like there are high possibilities that both Atlético Madrid and Chelsea will be agree with that agreement that was presented before. Atlatico Madrid are demanding €60 million for the Portuguese international Joa Felix while Chelsea is expecting to and also wants to pay €45 million for Joa Felix because they already spent a huge amount at this summer. So I hope they will agree on it.

In addition, addition Both clubs have a goal in this deal, Chelsea wants Joa Felix and Atletico Madrid wants to sign Conor Gallagher, which is almost complete, just waiting for the official announcement. Atlatico Madrid benefited a lot from this swap deal because they signed a well performing player which was actually required by Atlatico Madrid in the midfield department. On the other hand Joe Felix has ex experience of English Premier league so he can perform better at Chelsea.

This deal will definitely have to pull through for the sake of Atletico Madrid getting their man. Chelsea sees both deals as a separate deal but they want to use it to force Atletico into given them there man for a cheaper price, Atletico wanted a fee at the region of $60m for the player; Joao Felix who Chelsea valued less than that, with the $35m pre agreed deal with Gallagher and the €90m for Alvarez Atletico might have to just reconsider the value and sell off the player before they can able to register the players first. Gallagher is a major priority for Atletico due to how scanty their midfield is and they could defy do away without Felix so I think the deal will pull through at the end.

Recruiting Osimhen in the near future only for the reason Goncalo Ramos is injured, it makes no sense. Maybe it could have happened but not in the near future and PSG will also not question the transfer fee because PSG has a large finances but the problem is only whether Osimhen has a great interest to join PSG?
Of course if Osimhen chose between Chelsea and PSG, surely the player chose to join the EPL team to be said because his career and experience would be wider than with PSG who would only get a domestic degree.

Well, from this problem it becomes the pros and cons and many more that must be considered by PSG if you really want to bring in Osimhen. Because this is not only about the amount of transfer fees but also the problem of Osimhen mental readiness to join the League 1 team.

Previous reports have actually indicated that Osimhen doesn’t rule out a return back to France with champions a suiting team for him. Same thing as to going to Chelsea because he had actually said he grew watching them and Manchester United so man will be proud to represent them. So i don’t sense any difference between him getting to pick any of the team, it all depends on the club that got to agree on a deal first.

I think Leon Goretzka is a wonderful player and he will be able to find a new home in between the 2 weeks that are left in the transfer season. The competition is too much in the Bayern Munich squad and for a player like him, I don’t think it fits to warm the bench.
Yes, and a player must leave.
Personally, Leon Goretzka actually still wants to stay at Bayern Munich, right? However, the club wants to release him before the transfer deadline ends. They are still waiting for negotiations from other clubs.

The first is a possible move of Félix to Chelsea for €50m. He already played there so he knows well how English Premier League looks like.

Still surprising though that there are still top clubs willling to sign Joao Felix and pay so much money for him. In my opinion he never really delivered let alone justified these huge transfer fees. He is way too inconsistent and on top of that I doubt that the Premier League s the right place for him. His game is not physical enough and not enough intensity. I am pretty sure that he will be sitting on the bench more often than not. But Chelsea seems to not care. Still the same policy, spending money as if there was no tomorrow.

I have not known PSG as a club that will be hesitant to paying any reasonable amount of money for a player they want. PSG is not a small club and they have the money. This is evidence in their ability to keep three world class players in the same team for a good number of time (Messi, Neymar and Mbappé). The only thing that needs to be a kindled is the interest of PSG. If they are truly interested in Osimhen, they will get him and Osimhen will want to play in the Champions League over the conference league.

Most likely the process is being slowed down by Napoli, or they are demanding a completely unreasonable amount. PSG can pay as it seems to everyone any big sum, but no, there is a limit to everything. I think PSG will not soon be able to set a record for the amount of transfers, as it was with Neymar (until the standards of the modern market will not change and grow even more), so perhaps they began to spend less money on players, which is correct

Citing Fabrizio Romano's report, if Chelsea is still interested in Victor Osimhen. However, there are still obstacles between Osimhen, Chelsea and Napoli. This drama seems like it will continue, especially when the transfer window is approaching the closing. As for PSG, I also read from several newspapers that PSG is still waiting for Osimhen. However, I doubt that the news is true. After all, PSG is reluctant to pay Osimhen's release clause. In addition, rumors are developing that Kang-in Lee is also said to be included in Napoli's wishes. Therefore, so far PSG is no longer reported to bring in Osimhen. Although the transfer window still has time, there have been no concrete steps taken by Paris Saint-Germain. However, Napoli could lower Osimhen's transfer value as the transfer window approaches the closing. With the scenario, Conte really wants Lukaku. And to bring in Lukaku, Napoli needs fresh funds by releasing Osimhen. Let's just wait, usually there will be increasingly intense meetings as the closing approaches.

Actually for now Chelsea have a big gap if they really want Osimhen because after all, with the obstruction of PSG and Napoli in negotiations due to price issues, Chelsea can take advantage of it for their personal gain.
We certainly know that Lukaku is still wanted by Napoli and this could be a tool for Osimhen's cooperation with Chelsea even though it is certain that Chelsea will also have to reach for their wallets because Osimhen's price is still very high but I think it could be a good choice especially Conte will not reject Lukaku if this is a determining factor.

Now if it's like Chelsea is already wet with water when talking about losses then it doesn't matter if they make a bigger purchase for Osimhen because they have also already lost big money in the last few seasons so they might as well do it again but maybe there are some considerations regarding this that make until now there is no clarity about the future of Lukaku and Osimhen even until the transfer season will be closed there is still no clarity about this.

Paris Saint Germaine if I remember withrew their interest in Victor Osimhen because of staggering price that his club Napoli was demanding for him so now that they've made up their mind to rekindle their interest in the Nigeria striker, should we believe that they're ready to pay that same price Paris Saint Germaine have been asking from them? PSG and osimien are still battling? I thought PSG were being reluctant because of the price tag being attached to the Napoli striker because right from time, I think that has been what being holding them off. Chelsea and some other teams are also tied really hard with osimien but so far no one I think has been able to land the deal breaker for the Napoli team so I guess his moving is still wavering with no certainty.

Anyone who's been reading about my observations of Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag in the thread will definitely know that I've never liked his style of coaching not because I have any negative feeling about the Dutch manager but because I think his style of football is too boring and doesn't look like one that's gonna improve anytime soon. The club management have done their best to provide him with quality and talented players to work with but it seems the ten Hag is still clueless on what should be the best tactical solution to his team woes. I watched the Manchester United game yesterday against Fulham and if you ask me, it was an unconvincing performance from United.

Firstly if you’re critical about him personally I will understand but saying he is clueless is definitely baseless, you can say this to someone that Hasn’t won a single trophy before but not a man that dominated the Dutch league when you all thought it was easy only for Ajax to be a shadow of themselves immediately he left. Ten Hag came to a disjointed united team who hadn’t won anything for four years. Won a domestic cup and is trying to change the playing pattern of the club but people think he is clueless. This is the premier league no one comes in and starts to win immediately even Pep the great had to take sometime to build his team. Ten Hag has said that the rebuilding will be slow because he can’t simply play same football as that of Ajax here because it is a different league and we all understand that.

We might disagree with his Decision Making sometimes or even most at times but saying the team isn’t making progressing is not true yesterday Manchester dominated possession and could have had more but Fulham themselves weren’t bad either so the game had be just the way it was

In fact, they are hesitant to buy Oshimen and it is evidenced by them not continuing the progress of the negotiations that have occurred because they think Napoli is too raising the price for Osimhen which ultimately makes PSG retreat to buy this player.
Indeed they are not a small club and with the money they have now they can make purchases of any size but it looks like they are realizing something now because in the end too aggressive purchases without seeing the price can also be problematic for them especially now (in this transfer saga) PSG has spent 170 million for the 4 players they brought in including their latest purchase Desire Doue who was brought in from Rennes with a tag of 50 million.

Now how the offer will be above 100M maybe indirectly PSG can afford it but there must be negotiations they are talking about, but so far the rumors are only closer to Chelsea for Osimhen's loan while Osimhen's camp does not want a loan.

If PSG makes a fast move with this transfer then it could be that Osimhen will go there instead of Chelsea, we don't know how much the proposal by PSG is, I'm sure it will be below 100M.
PSG once said were backing off from wanting to sign him and regarding the latest rumors I don't follow them and maybe they are trying to renegotiate with Osimhen. The price of 100 million is considered too high for Osimhen because his appearance and performance have decreased slightly compared to the previous season and I think it is very likely that he will stay because no club is willing to pay that price.

Several clubs in the Saudi Arabian League have expressed interest in him, but there is no clarity. The proof is that until now there has been no serious discussion regarding this interest. Chelsea is trying to approach Osimhen with a loan and Napoli may not agree.

Osimhen must decide his fate in the transfer market now, choose Chelsea or PSG or better stay at Napoli? My guess is he will leave soon.
This choice is very much determined by the interested club because if no one is interested he can't do anything and the transfer value requested by Napoli is so large that it will force him to stay.

PSG might have to rekindle their interest in Victor Osimhen because of the ankle injury suffered by Goncalo Ramos in the 1-4 win over Le Havre. It is still possible to happen but the situation will be increasingly difficult for now if you want to try to revive these negotiations.
There are several things that PSG really need to pay attention to if indeed they try to revive Osimhen's transfer including the problem of clauses where surely Napoli still will not budge with Osimhen's release clause which has been pegged at 150 million and can even be more with add ons and this is what will be difficult for PSG to do because previously negotiations were also stalled because Napoli did not want to reduce Osimhen's price. In addition, we also need to look at the current time which we must be aware that this summer transfer will end which of course this is another consideration where there are only 2 weeks left for the transfer of players to close and if indeed Osimhen wants to be brought then PSG must be fast because after all they are chased by time for now.

I'm not saying much, for me the MU players are perfect, the fact that they have made new signings if the coach does not change his strategy then they will not achieve anything, in fact even if they put Messi, Mbappé, Neymar Jr, CR7 all to play in the MU while Ten Hag is still there it is difficult, because he is a coach who in my opinion is very stubborn, and even more so the MU is very Condescending with him, so I am different, because if I do not see good results then for me there is no valid Option for him to stay, what I hope is that the MU wins , as long as he wins and resolves games he is just eager for this team to be good.

PSG are buying Rennes winger Doué, the transfer amount is €50m, PSG reports this on their official website, as well as Romano on Twitter. The contract is signed for 5 years until 2029. Enrique continues to form a young team, the guy is only 19 years old. Let me remind you that yesterday in the match against Le Havre, Mbaye, who is only 16 years old, took to the field as part of PSG.

Fabrizio Romano also mentions that Joao Flix could become a Chelsea player. Despite the fact that Felix began training with Atletico and even scored in several friendly matches, Semione still wants to sell him...
This is a power move. Not just any power move, a smart power move. We are referring to a 19-year-old child who might be a superstar. Bayern Munich sought him out? Indeed, they did! Still, PSG found him. PSG here. Purchasing a player is only one aspect; purchasing a future is also important. A time when PSG's heart and soul is youthful, driven athletes like Doué. People, he is an attacking midfielder. He really thrives in that area. He will also have opportunity to impress at PSG. To play, to develop, to reach his best.

Folks, there is a change in the game. The major clubs are not only signing seasoned talents these days. They are making investments for tomorrow. And PSG is leading the charge. Mbappe has gone? No problem. They are building a new era. An age of fresh talent.

It is unfortunate that since the arrival of Joao Palhinha and Aleksandar Pavlovic this season Leon Goretzka has been crossed out of the game scheme implemented by Kompany in the Bundesliga and other competitions. and Bayern Munich has included this player in the sales list. in my opinion his condition is still fit to be able to play, and as a central midfielder he "goretzka" plays well, it's just that the competition in that line is very tight, another thing is that Goretzka still wants to play for Bayern Munich. the decision must be taken immediately by this player, if I were in that situation, lower my ego, pack my things, and go to the club that is interested
If Leon Goretzka stays, he will have to compete with Joshua Kimmich, Konrad Laimer, Joao Palhinha, and Aleksandar Pavlovic for a place in the Bayern Munich first team. An effort that I think is quite difficult, because Kompany seems to no longer need his services for next season. Atletico Madrid and Napoli are reportedly interested in recruiting him, but so far there have been no official offers submitted, it seems they are constrained by the player salary bill which is considered quite high. Leon Goretzka contract itself will expire in June 2026, in my opinion the right step is to decide to leave.

Leon Goretzka still has about two weeks left to find a new club before the transfer window closes, but if he decides to stay, the former Shalke 04 player must work harder to gain Kompany trust. Leon Goretzka also has to look far ahead, how this situation must be controlled in order to secure his place in the German national team. The long-term target that must be considered is to become an important part of the German National Team at the upcoming 2026 World Cup, so his decision to stay or leave will determine his fate in the future.

I think Leon Goretzka is a wonderful player and he will be able to find a new home in between the 2 weeks that are left in the transfer season. The competition is too much in the Bayern Munich squad and for a player like him, I don’t think it fits to warm the bench. Vincent Kompany also confirmed that Goretzka is not part of his plans. It has been confirmed in this post by Fabrizio Romano:

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/Wk8UBx4NJwZoyNsZ/

Now there might be a few clubs who will be looking to buy him. Now that he is on the transfer list of Bayern Munich, other clubs might be able to buy him at a lower price. I can think of many top-tier Premier League clubs where he could fit easily and be in the main squad. He is a quality player who served Bayern Munich for a long time and is in peak fitness.

Well, this will be interesting news, because from several sources PSG wants to get Osimhen at a low price so with the current situation, will PSG agree to Napoli's offer? PSG must pay 100 million if they want to bring Osimhen to Paris we know PSG have spent 170 million in this transfer window for 4 players but none of them are in the striker position so SPG doesn't have much time, they have to find a replacement immediately before the transfer window closes and I think PSG have a problem competing with Chelsea for Osimhen. On the other hand, Napoli would be happy if Osimhen moved because this player is not included in the new coach's plans.
It is actually not difficult for Paris Saint Germain to agree to the price that Napoli wants, because they have it, but the question is whether they are serious or will choose to wait for their players to recover. This is something they must consider carefully, whether they really need it or not. Previously they withdrew from the hunt to get Osimhen because they could not afford the price that Napoli was asking. And now if they are going to move forward again, then they must be ready with the price that Napoli wants, or at least they must increase the amount of the offer.

This is still gray at the moment, but if Paris Saint Germain really still needs a striker then they must move quickly because now there are not many choices. Other players have officially joined their respective clubs and now there are only a few players left who are ready to be released by their clubs.
