More and more rumors starting to spread that are linking Arsenal with Coutinho. I rejected it at first because it didn't really make any sense for me but it looks there is substance to the story after all.

I really don't know where do they plan to play him and how much are they willing to pay for him, it looks like exactly the type of transfer that cost them a lot in the past and that they stopped making in the last 2 years.
Barcelona is obviously looking to get rid of him, he isn't even playing with all their injuries and problems because if he plays a few more games they will have to pay another installment of the transfer to Liverpool. Good thing for Arsenal is that they cannot ask for any kind of significant money.
I don’t know how to feel about this Coutinho's transfer saga. No doubt he’s a good player but hasn’t been in a good shape for a very long time. Coutinho enjoyed a successful spell at Liverpool before joining Barcelona, but his time at the Barcelona has never taken off, failing to deliver either side of a loan at Bayern Munich. I don’t know if there is an obvious place for Coutinho in this Arsenal side. He is a No.10 and plays same position as Martin Odegaard. He can also play from the left flank where Smith Rowe and Martinelli operates, but I doubt if he may be able to make the same impact these kids have been doing. Let’s see what happens and hope for the best. I won't say he will be a success at Arsenal but I won't say he will impress just let see what happens.

Anyone that watched Coutinho play knew, he wasn't a good footballer. Yes, he scored spectacular goals, but his technical skills and movements were always very poor. Just watch him play next to LaMasia player and the difference is obvious. I don't think he would make the FC Barcelona B team. Yet, someone managed to pay him massive $$$ and sign him to this massive contract. It is clear, he was brought in as an overreaction to Neymar departure.

The rumors I hear are not only Barcelona interested in signing Martial.
However, Sevilla are quite serious about signing Martial on loan. But unfortunately Sevilla were only able to pay half of Martial's salary, so Man United
were reject Sevilla's offer.
I hope Newcastle has quick to cash him. I know he is good (56 goals), only don't match with another scheme, maybe suitable with Arsene Wanger. He looks like Thierry Henry with skill and speed on the front but he is just not sharpened because he rarely plays. he clearly lost compete with Ronaldo, Rushford, and Cavani. He is still young when always sit on the bench, his career will be over soon without any achievement. He must thingking to decrease the salary now.

It depends for Mbappe. If PSG managed to win CL title then he will most likely stay with the club. If PSG will lose or be humiliated in a CL game or less likely lose Ligue 1 title then he will probably walk away and find his way to get some trophies with Real Madrid.
Sure it depends on him, but I think the result of UCL won't have a big role to influence his decision to leave. As far as I know, he personally already decided to go to Real Madrid, he only needs to spend his contract on PSG this season. So, looks like Mbappe won't stay in PSG because he has reached a personal agreement with Real Madrid management. He probably already plans to be the future of Real Madrid superstars and wants to experience a great thing like his idol (CR7).

Mbape wouldn't have wanted to leave PSG,under normal circumstances, but he is eager to leave because of the presence of Lionel Messi. He is aware that if Messi is there, his presence will outshine his performance, and that will dampen his hopes for the Ballon d'or trophy.
Going to Madrid looks good because he will be the future of Madrid.

Mbappè was predictable and I also think he will not leave if they will offer 30m/year. Insigne was searched by Inter and it is astonishing to say no to Inter and go to Toronto only for the money. Well, he has 4-5 more years of play and it will be 50 million... not so stupid.
It's not all about money, although Mbappè has nothing to complain about. But he's at home, that counts for a lot. In any case, I think he's right to stay at Paris Saint-Germain, and strive to help him win the Champions League, the championship and the cup. And with him in Paris, Real Madrid will have a lot of difficulty, it's no wonder they wanted to buy him.

For Insigne, I didn't thought he will make that step early if we could say so!
I don't think winning the Champions League will have a decisive impact on Mbappe's decision to stay at the club and extend his contract. Maybe even on the contrary, winning the Champions League will have the opposite effect, that the player will decide that he has already won the title and now it's time to look for new challenges and achieve new successes at a new club Wink In any case, anything can still happen in this matter, information like Mbappe is thinking about extending his contract with PSG will continue to leak to the press, and money will play an important role in which option the further development of events will go Wink

https://www.sportbible.com/football/ralf-rangnick-tells-man-united-star-to-forget-about-january-move-20211227

According to the source, Ralf Rangnick indicated that there is no club that are interested in signing Anthony Martial now. But there have been so many rumours like he is on the radar of some big clubs already now. For example, Barcelona are said to be one of the most serious teams about reaching an agreement with him. And Martial should definitely leave the team in January I believe. There is no future for him at Manchester United.

If no big clubs come looking for martial, I don't know if he would stay despite the chances of him getting any game time being slim. The current Man Utd squad doesn't leave much opportunities for players that fails to impress whenever they get on the pitch. Martial won't breakinto Rangnick's team. If no other big teams comes for him, he should consider other teams lower in the pecking order as that's where he would get plenty of playing time.

So far, he hasn't done anything spectacular to get eyes on him.

It's a good decision if Anthony Martial decides to move to another club, because Martial doesn't get much playing time at Man United. When Man United
faced Newcastle, Martial was not in the Man United squad, even Ralf Rangnick would have let Martial go if another club was willing to pay the transfer fee
Man United wanted. Because Martial is still under contract with Man United until 2024, so with the remaining contract still quite long, if there are other
clubs that want to get Martial of course they can't buy Martial cheaply. The rumors I hear are not only Barcelona interested in signing Martial.

according to kicker.de, fc sevilla is interested in Anthony Martial from manchester united. the frenchman had recently told Ralf Rangnick in a conversation that he wanted to leave the red devils.
according to "Sky Sports", the andalusians prefer a loan until the end of the season without a purchase option. AM contract at man united runs until 2024...

This is a good deal for me ... especially since Anthony Martialle has not played a single full match in the last 20 weeks (he was on the field for only 200 minutes).

I am more interested in the situation around Pogba, since if he leaves the Devils, they are unlikely to be able to qualify for a slot in the Champions League.
I both understand the need to send him and get some money in return, but with covid being such a huge problem right now, is it really smart to sell players? I do not know the number of players allowed to registered by a team, but losing one would definitely hurt, specially a good one like Martial. He may not be playing now (no idea why, he is good) but if some players get covid, we could end up seeing Martial getting more minutes.

NBA literally called up some very old and already retired players along with a lot of g-league players just because they had so many covid cases. The other day Minnesota had zero players from their starting five, that should scare United or any soccer team in the world.

This is a rumor about a transfer that would really make sense for all the parties that are involved to me. Barcelona has debts of more than 1.35 Billion € and they desperately need to save money in order to get at least close to a somewhere stable financial situation again and Coutinho is one of the players with the highest salary as far as i know. Coutinho himself has a pretty unlucky time at Barcelona and would probably pretty happy if he could play in the english premier league again where he basically had his best and most successful time. And arsenal could sign a player that has still the potential to be one of the top players world wide if he feels supported and welcome for a relatively low transfer fee.

Barcelona spends about 700 million a year on salaries - a gigantic amount compared to the cost of servicing this seemingly huge debt. Payments on this debt are stretched over time, so its impact on the financial policy of Barcelona is not catastrophic, although of course it is of great importance.

Anyway, Deal has been completed for Ferran Torres. Barcelona will pay €55m guaranteed plus €10m in installments. Promising 21 years old striker and has been scoring quite frequently for Spain but it seems that he is not getting that regular spot in manchester City

Source : Fabrizio Romano

I'm happy for Barcelona to finish this deal. Maybe they paid a great sum to Manchester City to be able to sign Ferran Torres. But he was one of Xavi's primary targets to sign in the end. Considering the fact, it wouldn't be big deal for them I guess. Ferran Torres is still a very young player. And I believe that he is a promising player too. I still am surprised how Manchester City let him go. I hope that he contributes to Barcelona superbly for many years.

... So they need to get rid of other expensive players that have a huge salary first like for example Gareth Bale.

They will get rid of Gareth Bale indeed. Him and Isco are the players to be sent from the club as soon as possible. Gareth Bale is not even playing for Real Madrid anymore. And he was performing much better at Tottenham last season. Taking this into account, I think that he should go back there. Or maybe he would like to go to Manchester United. He would be a great addition to the team I think. Bale is still performing really good in the Premier League as we saw it at Tottenham.

Real Sociedad has announced that they have loaned Rafinha from Paris SG. Rafinha went to Paris SG last year and made a total of 39 games. Returning to Spain, do you think Rafinha can be successful in Real Sociedad? I think Real Sociedad made a very good loan transfer. He hasn't had much of a chance to play this season. In the 2021-2022 season, he was able to play only 5 matches with Paris SG.
Rafinha has officially become a Real Sociedad player this season with a permanent purchase option at the end of the season, with his experience so far playing in Barcelona and PSG can certainly help Real Sociedad in trying to penetrate the champions league next season, actually Rafinha was a good midfielder, but the tight competition in PSG midfield has forced Rafinha to be on the bench all this time, besides that Rafinha can get more playing time now at Real Sociedad, especially this season Real Sociedad have lost Merino, David Silva and Oyarzabal due to injury.
