City to rival Barca in Haaland race
Manchester City have emerged as Barcelona's chief rival for the signature of Erling Haaland, reports Sport.
With the economical situation at Barca, I think Haaland has 0% chance to join them.
It is more probable his arrival in the other big team of Spain, Real Madrid.
Real Madrid, who are aiming to complete the Mabbape transaction this summer or next, have zero chance. I'm confident Real Madrid's big project next summer will be to release some oldies with large pay from the club in order to accommodate new players.
Barcelona cannot afford Haaland. And it also seems exceptional to me that Haaland would want to go to Barcelona. That boy wants to move forward in a sporting way, then you are at the wrong team at Barcelona at the moment. Dortmund has a nice team, but is not a European top. Real Madrid would be a logical next step. PSG too, but they have too many good attackers.
Barcelona isn't that bad; they have fantastic attacking options; they simply need to add 2-3 players to their defense and midfield, as well as a good coach who can and knows how to encourage young players.
It is possible that Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United. Despite his status as a free agent, the club is not interested in signing him. FC Real Madrid have no interest in signing Paul Pogba either. The club cannot afford the ridiculous salary he is receiving from Manchester United. His salary is too high for anyone to afford. He will have a hard time getting another club interested in him after Man United.
Pogba is one of the lowest paid players in the current Manchester United roster, earning less than £300,000 per week, despite the fact that a player of his caliber should make more in this market.
