Eddie Howe has been named as Newcastle's new head coach with a contract until the summer of 2024. Eddie Howe is also a good coach. Bournemouth's glory days were brought by Eddie Howe, who moved Bournemouth from the bottom of league 2 and into the Premier League, then helped them stay there for five seasons. Newcastle will undoubtedly be the same after Eddie Howe joining. Welcome to the club, Eddie! Best wishes.
I actually was expecting to see a much more qualified manager at Newcastle. But I don't want to be prejudiced also. As long as Eddie Howe creates a strong game plan and Newcastle get the right players for the team, they can still become very successful. Leicester became the champions with Ranieri even if they didn't have a very fascinating squad then. I can't even imagine what Newcastle can do with big transfers and a strong lineup.
I also really hope that the Newcastle coach is a great and quality coach who has coached big teams in Europe. But it seems difficult to convince a big
and famous coach to want to coach Newcastle, even some big coaches refuse Newcastle's offer, despite the promise of high salaries and big spending
money as well. The possibility of a big and famous coach finding it too heavy to make the Newcastle team out of the relegation zone, and compete with
big teams in the Premier League. Therefore, it is better to first attract a coach like Eddie Howe, later if Newcastle start buying a lot of star players
and the performance is getting better, Newcastle management can try again to find a big coach who wants to coach Newcastle. For now, Newcastle
supporters should be able to accept and give Eddie Howe a chance as Newcastle's new coach. Hopefully Eddie Howe can make a surprise like Ranieri did
when he was coach of Leicester.
